Expect the Unexpected
Expect the unexpected is such a cliche saying. Only it is so true.
In everyday life, you need to not have those expectations because things aren't going to go the way you hoped they would.
In my college classes, I would always be one of the first students that arrive in the class. I love being early in fear of being late and missing something. It's sort of a ridiculous fear, but that's how I am, so I come early and have so much time to myself to prepare for the class.
And sometimes, that doesn't work out. Being early is tough, but not the first early one is world-flipping. I walked into the classroom at my usual time and someone was in there already, it threw me through a loop.
I was so confused! Turns out my classmate forgot the time our class starts. He got there almost an hour and a half before it actually started. Poor guy!
Even though I was shocked by the turn events, I ended up talking to him quite a bit. We finally found out each other's names! We didn't know them before then because we barely had any conversation until that one moment.
And over a month ago I was told that my hair was "collegeyish." What a day for new words that day.
The next day I started my fall math class and the room felt like high school. My classmates only contributed to that feeling as they acted like middle school kids.
There were only a few guys, and from that few, there was two who looked like "teenage heartthrob."
But the rest of that was posted in another story part.
This is a reminder that life can be unexpected at times.
So expect the unexpected.
