(I honestly don't know why I'm posting this here, but it felt right to leave this here.)

Dear future husband,

You probably won't be reading this anytime soon. I don't even know who you are or where you are. 

All I know is I have expectations.  These expectations may seem silly to other people, although when the time is right I will open up to you and tell you these hidden secrets of mine.

I've made a list of requirements that you need to meet. I started the list in eighth grade and added more things last night.

I can't tell you this list yet; all you need to know is making me feel safe and sparking my inner self out is the first steps.

Gain my trust and love, I will keep you around. Lose my trust and my love will follow.

My life is a little busy right now, though my picture of my life partner is becoming more clear.

I haven't met anyone who has met half of the requirements, but I'm patient.

Someday, I will find you and we can share our lists together.

Until that day, I will wait here.

Smiling and laughing at future memories. I already have a ton of plans on how to make those memories.
