Day 1 & 2 of Vet Tech School!

Alright, unfortunately, due to my school's confidentiality rule I can't talk about exactly what is going on. Fortunately, since I am a military kid, I have experience with that.

Unto what I can say!

Yesterday was a little hectic and crazy as I did not know that we were just going to be thrown into classes via Zoom. Luckily, I was prepared for my Monday classes.

Due to COVID, a few of my classes switched times and it threw me off for a while.

All in all, my first day was a success!

Today, I panicked because I didn't realize I needed to print out a certain handout for class, but everything turned out okay.

Things are going pretty well so far. The only thing that is overwhelming is the AMOUNT OF PAPERS THAT I NEED TO PRINT UP AND HAVE IN MY CLASSES!

Other than that, I have a system in place to organize and I am on top of my classes so far.

I need to figure out a few ways to study/memorize some topics that we covered so far.

That's all, for now at least.

The reading assigns are a pain, but they will help me in the long run.

A few hours after my class today, I made a decision. You might call it impulsive, although, I like to call it me seeing an opportunity and taking it.

Thursday evening I will be going up north for the weekend with family friends. Since I will be 21 in a week (can't believe its next week!), I will be doing shots with everyone.

We are also going on a pontoon boat on Friday and I'm taking Grey for his first boat ride!

Speaking of firsts. Tomorrow is my baby's first birthday! I cannot believe he will be 1 tomorrow!

In two months, on October 13th, it will be his gotcha day!

Before that on September 5th, Trixie will be 2!

Today has been a great day in terms of treats! I had a can of cranberry sauce (the greatest part of Thanksgiving). Plus, I tried Cape Cod waffle-cut sea salt kettle-cooked potato chips for the first time. They are so good!

Anyway, it's getting late and I need to do a few things before I go to bed.

I wish everyone who is going to school in this difficult time the best of luck!

P.S. Random thought from earlier: if I was in the Percy Jackson fandom, I would be an eternal maiden. I don't know if I would join the Amazons or the hunters of Artemis as being with the same people for the rest of my life would become boring to me.

I rather travel around experiencing life than being tied down to the same thing for the rest of my life (traveling with other girls hunting monsters would get repetitive).

Although, I definitely know who my godly parent would be.
