Today marks the last day of 2019. That much is obvious. With the new year on the horizon - one more sunset away - it brings a whole new set of opportunities.

This past year I learned a lot about myself. I got my first job on Valentine's Day (February 14th), I finished a math class and chemistry with a B and received an A for both my animal health careers and computer class. I had some failed romance, found the love of my love (my dog Grey), and finally, I am sleeping on a bigger bed!

As I'm sitting here with my chaotic family, I try to think back on what happened this year and I keep thinking of what's to come. I think back to how far I've come; to how far I have left to go.

2019 was a learning experience through my first job and school. And today, I watched Little Women with some family/family friends. It made me realize some things about me. What I need to do to improve/love myself.

Right now as 2019 comes to a close, I celebrate my wins and reflect on my loses.

In 2020,  I will work hard. Harder than before as I have new challenges to face.

Thinking of what I accomplished this year, I have a friend who has been counting how many books she read this year. For me? I counted anime's I watched. I finished about 6 from beginning to end this year.

The year of anime for me! XD
