1st Week of Terminology Course
This week has been a little crazy.
On Monday, I started my terminology course and it was a lot less work than I thought it would be. I could've finished all of the course work in two days, but I decided to pace myself.
Plus, I finally turned in 3 requirements that are due by August 3rd. Finally. I was having major problems turning them in and I wasn't the only one.
That was fun. Now, I have one less thing to worry about.
I woke up early that day, so I was able to accomplish unit one, the student bio for Terminology, and ordered the last of my school supplies.
My older sister's car was taken to the junkyard (rest in pieces, Alan) while I watched Sally and Grey.
Tuesday, I did units 2 and 3. I did the week 1 discussion post. I finally got back to my second cousin who was in the class of 2016 in the vet tech program that I'm in. That last part was much harder than I thought it would be. Although I'm too close to her, so it's understandable. Still, sending one message causes me so much anxiety.
Later in the night, I wrote about 800 words for The Unknown Assassin of Chaos. I was so relieved. I tried joking around in my author's note but with my fatigue plagued mind, it didn't come out as jokingly.
Wednesday was finishing up week 1 of Terminology with unit 4. I finished a book that I started about two and a half years ago. Then I reorganized my bookcase.
Nothing much happened. Other than the fact that I help take my dad's car to the mechanic. My parents took my car to a party because my older sister has the other car. So we only have two cars and a big van at the house.
Yesterday, I took a shower. Sally and my sister came over again. And late in the night, I created flashcards for the prefixes, suffixes, and root words that I've learned this past week. The quizzes were really easy, memorizing and retaining the information is taking a little more time.
Today wasn't anything too exciting either. My dad took my car to work at another site, my parents took Silver to pick up my dad's car, and then my parents left to go up north for the weekend.
They went up to bring a few things down for my sister's grad party that is happening next weekend.
Wow, there is a lot to do in not that much time.
Oh! I also had a dream last night. It was like an anxiety-inducing night terror. I was pretty slow getting up because of it. It was my first vet tech dream as well. There will be more, I know it.
I've really only studied terms and watched Percy Jackson Tik Toks. The second one I've been doing for a few days now.
Anyway, it's past midnight now and I should be getting to bed (but first I might watch another horror game let's play because that's what I've been doing for the past five days).
Note for my future self: music is literally a time capsule. You found a great band this week and I want you to remember how their music makes you feel.
Thanks for reading!
