The day was bright and two best friends suddenly appeared into the forest setting of my book. Now this isn't my favorite writing style, but it fits how this will be set up in the future. And for context this is being written after chapter 14 and chapter 15 has not been published yet.

Lachlan: What the? Why am I here? I thought I was sick... oh please don't tell me this is another dream.

Vikk: I don't think so, because I'm here and I don't think I'm asleep too.

Lachlan: *turns around to see Vikk* Oh you're here too? Then maybe I'm not, but I can't figure out why I don't feel like total crap right now.

Vikk: *shrugs* Maybe it has something to do with all this magic stuff that you've dragged me into.

Lachlan: First of all, I didn't drag you, you followed me into this mess. Secondly-

The tall Australian was suddenly cut off by a letter of some kind flying into his face. The two boys looked over and observed it for a strangely long amount of time before Lachlan finally decided to open it. Inside was a card that read: Welcome boys to a land of the infinite, where there is no forth wall and your audience will communicate with you via letters like this one. Here there are no limits to your powers and people (some you haven't even met yet) will come and go as the letters demand them to. That is the catch of the land, everyone here must obey the letters that sent in. Other than that, have fun and try not to kill some of the people who come here.

The two now stared at the paper in shock once both had finished reading and could look chance their gaze to each other after a couple of minutes.

Lachlan: So I guess that means I have to dodge more letters?

Yes Lachlan, indeed it does. Feel free to ask these guys anything, and not only them, but everyone else who has made an appearance in Living Scales so far. Don't worry about this effecting the main story as everything that everyone says will be considered cannon to the story but their interactions will not be. For example, you ask Lachlan what his favorite ice cream is and he says chocolate, then Living Scales Lachlan's favorite ice cream is chocolate. However say if Alex the cop meets Lachlan's dad here, then that never actually happened in Living Scales unless they say they've met before. I hope that covers everything, and that everyone has fun!
