Everything went on without a hitch, till he showed up with Kai to pay respects to grandmother.

I clenched my fists in anger, my facial expression stone cold. "Amelie, you rather pretty dressed like that. Maybe if you dressed like this more often, I would definitely wish to know you more."

Kai reached forward slowly running his fingertip over my jaw, I closed my eyes in disgust and anger. "I know I had an effect for you, you even shuddered from my touch."

I felt an arm go around my waist,  "Sweetheart I've been looking for you everywhere, Ny Ny said it's time for you to perform."

I looked over my shoulder, so glad to see Yoon-gi giving me a small smile. "Min Yoon-gi, I'm Amelie's soon to be husband. I'd appreciate it if you kept your hands off my girl. She doesn't like to be touched by filth, you would know if you knew her well enough."

Yoon-gi steered me away from Kai, when we were far enough He turned towards me, he ran his fingers in the exact spot Kai I did. I let out a sigh of relief, leaning into his palm that softly pressed against my cheek.

"Thank you, I don't know how long I would have held back. He knows I despise him, yet he knows he still tried to get under my skin."

He looked down at me, "Give me your red string, I want to wear it."

I bent down to my ankle, where it's tied so prettily. Untying it, I stood up slowly grabbing his wrist. I tied it into a love knot, I looked into his eyes.

His eyes seemed to sparkle in the light, as he looked down at me. "Now come in, I can feel the asshole's glare trying to light me on fire."

He intertwined out fingers, pulling me inside where the festitivies are happening. Glad to have someone on my side, someone one who will look out for me.

It hit me, the sudden realization of it all happening. This right here changes my plans, but to be honest I welcome the change and the feelings that I'm starti g to feel towards the man who is wearing my red string.

A few hours later

I had changed out of that horrible material of a outfit, finally wearing the outfit for the Lion dance. Umi decided not to be my partner, so I had one of grandmother's friends help me.

The drums and gong soon started to play, I put on the lion head. Going in the middle near the stacked up tables, I look up to see Yoon-gi, Taehyung and Jungkook father around grandmother.

My body soon twisted and turned, doing the routine I've done a hundred times already. I was starting to have fun, I danced and flipped my way towards them.

Rubbing my lion head on the top of his head, I jumped on top of my partners shoulders. This year, I learned a new trick. My partner ran towards the lower wall, as the red ornament was hanging from the roof. Once they gained enough momentum, we soon separated and I ran of the wall catching the prize inside my lion mouth.

My head twisting and turning, as I danced happily towards him again. Dropping the red mass in his lap, as the crowd ooh'd and awed over the performance. I danced back to my partner, but I'm that moment my clumsiness came into play.

I had tripped over my own two feet, I caught myself. But could already tell that I had injured myself, It took a lot out of me as I held back the cry of agony. I had twisted my ankle, the throbbing pain was getting to much. But I grinned and bared it, climbing up the tables to the finishing pose.

Grandmother thanked us, soon everyone started heading back inside. I sat on the top, taking the Lion head off. I looked down, shit how the fuck am I going to get down. I don't think I should jump down, climbing down is out as well. I don't think putting anymore pressure on my already hurt ankle, will help me anyways.

"Amelie Jump down, we'll catch you."

I looked for the voice that told me to jump, I spotted them all 3 of them.

"We know you hurt yourself, so it's okay we will get you some ice when you are back on the ground."

I slowly nodded my head, they lined up two on the left on on the right. Holding out their arms, I hopped down to be caught in their arms.

"The lion dance you performed was totally awesome, too bad the others didn't come they would've really liked it too. Don't worry Tae, recorded it to show them."

They placed me on the ground slowly, "Thanks guys, I don't know how long I would have stayed up there if you weren't here."

Taehyung & Jungkook stepped back, leaving me in Yoon-gi's arms. He carried me I side setting me down on a bench, the other soon ran off to have some fun.

"If I knew you would have hurt yourself just by walking, I think I'll have to stick around more. Someone needs to be your legs, I one want my girl hurting herself more than she already has."

My chest tightened, when he said those words. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes I'll be your girlfriend!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Min, but that this whatever it won't be happening I won't allow it!"

I looked to my right, to see a pissed off Kai.

"You see that's where your wrong, look at my wrist? Can you see the red string? She tied it on me, not you! Get over yourself Kai, your just a son of a company. While myself and along with My 6 brothers, have the world to back is up. I do what I do because I love it, I'm here at this party because 1 I was invited and 2 because I love Amelie." Yoon-gi had explained.

I picked Amelie up, then I walked away from a sad excuse of a man who thinks money will get him everything. Can't I ever catch a break?
