(The Next Day: Los Padres National Forest, near Los Angeles, CA, 3:30 PM)

The warm Pacific breeze had wandered and swept the green leaves of those trees in this famous wildlife reserve. Despite of the terrible situation in such cities, the tranquil atmosphere lingered around the place.

Skyblade in his humanoid form had borrowed clothes from the people at West Coast Avengers Compound. This time, he was surveying for any potential hideout in the forest and walking on the earthly ground. He scanned the area where he found mountains, caves, and waterfalls.

" This reminds me of the Emerald Forest back in Remnant, " he thought and looked at the luscious greenery. " After the HYDRA ordeal which the Terrans have been facing, I might consider living here. "

Skyblade found a spot where he could rest for a while. It was a boulder beside the tree. He instantly sat down and scanned where he could view the Pacific Ocean from a distance.

" This planet is better than Cybertron. I wish I could spend more time travelling throughout the globe. "

The former Decepticon widened his eyes in shock and sensed the two familiar heat signatures in this forest. He got terrified which his former allies were still hunting him and stood up from the boulder, instantly walking away from the point. Looking back, he saw the two vehicles coming his way and immediately ran as he could.

Remembering his exile from Cybertron, he knew Megatron and his minions had done terrible things to the other planets. Skyblade never wanted to get involved with them, so he chose Earth as safe haven for two centuries. He reached to the other end, heading to the ocean and panted. Suddenly, the two enormously tall metallic beings appeared in front of him. The former Decepticon stepped back and thought of fleeing again.

Dropkick, the blue one, evilly grinned and released his blade to take down his former friend. His red partner, Shatter crossed her metallic arms and mercilessly watched the other Cybertronian struggling to escape.

" So, you have been running away again..." she sternly spoke.

" Look, I don't want to get involved to your schemes, " Skyblade replied. " I have already known what you have done to planet Hala before. You might take Earth as well. "

" Megatron has orders to take you down, traitor. You have no choice, but to face us. "

" No, I'm not..."

" Oh, yes. You will..."

Shatter turned to her partner as Dropkick readied to take the former Decepticon down. Skyblade thought of shifting into his true form, retaliating against these two, however he got frightened to face his instant demise. Dropkick slashed the humanoid's legs as Skyblade loudly yelled in pain.

" How's that?! " the blue one laughed. " I'm gonna end you for real just like Cliffjumper! "

" You're not going to do that! "

" Heh, let's make it happen, then! "

Skyblade instantly closed his eyes when the blue Decepticon loudly laughed and readied himself to slash  the other Cybertronian. Suddenly, there was a radiant flash of cosmic blue light appeared to the three. Shatter and Dropkick got blinded and distracted. Skyblade saw the masked blue Kree man standing in front of him and carefully held the Cybertronian away from his enemies.

" Thank you, Mr. Marvel, " he wearily smiled. " I'm glad you have come...."

" You're about to face your skirmish, Skyblade, " the Kree Eternal replied curiously raised his eyebrows,and got concerned, looking at the leg injury . " What are you doing here?! You'll just end up in great trouble. Oh for Hala's sake, you can't go alone these days! " 

" I'm looking for a place far away from the city where I could hide. "

" Now, you're injured. Let me have it fixed...."

" No, it's all right. I can do this... " Skyblade nodded and watched his circuits and nanobots repairing the injury. Mr. Marvel got surprised to see how the former Decepticon's ability made it.

" So, this is your way of regenerating yourself? " he curiously asked.

" Yes. " the humanoid instantly stood up and morphed his both hands, revealing to be metallic in color and blade unleashing on his right hand. " Thanks to you, you have given me a chance to fight. "

Looking at the two attackers, the Kree Eternal illuminated his both hands and turns to Skyblade, " So, these are the ones who chased you? "

" Yes, they have come to hunt me. "

" I understood what you're getting. "

" So, you have brought a friend from planet Hala? Did you even know we killed one-third of their population? " Shatter indignantly called their attention.

Mr. Marvel indignantly glared at the two marauders and understood what they meant. His new humanoid friend had mentioned about the Kree race had suffered from the wrath of mad Decepticons in this universe. Skyblade felt guilty and turned to him.

" I know how you feel about, Mr. Marvel. I'm not those people whom they are referring to. "

" I know, " he nodded. " If HYDRA is corrupted, your fellow kind is also the same. "

" Oh, man. You're wasting our time here! Stop chatting around! " Dropkick impatiently sighed and got annoyed at the Kree and the other Cybertronian, murmuring. " I'm ready to take down lives here. "

" Do it now, Dropkick! I'll take the Kree man! " Shatter ordered.

" Got it! "

Skyblade was on a fighting stance confronting his opponent. The blue Cybertronian evilly grinned and took out his blade. The humanoid started morphing himself into a tall enormous grey metallic being and taking out his blade.

Dropkick started to hit his former ally as the grey one quickly dodged his attacks. The blue one thought of aiming and pinning the traitor's chest.  Skyblade made an uppercut blow to the opponent's gut and slashed the right leg down. Dropkick yelled in pain and kicked the attacker using his left leg, sending Skyblade flying.

" You won't get me! You think you're tougher than me! " the angry blue Decepticon hissed.

" You almost took my life! " Skyblade indignantly answered and stood up. He took his blade and instantly slashed the opponent's blade and left arm.

" You despicable...."

" You said that to yourself. "

Shatter and Mr. Marvel were both duelling at the same time.  The female red Decepticon used her right arm canon to blast the Kree Eternal to ashes. He instantly dodged away from her attacks.

" What's the matter? Are you afraid to take me down, Kree? " she asked.

" Look, I don't fight women, unless I have to, " he sternly answered. " Seriously, this is not a good idea. "

" Then, make me! "

Shatter targeted at the masked Kree Eternal and unleashed a powerful beam towards him. He instantly flew hovered behind her, and made a powerful blow at her back combining his superstrength and cosmic radiance. She instantly fell down, causing a sudden tremor and a crack on the ground.

The Kree Eternal flew beside the grey Decepticon and watched the two losing beings. Skyblade reverted into humanoid form. Mr. Marvel descended on the ground and stood beside with his new friend.

" These two are my former colleagues back in Cybertron, " Skyblade said. " They were the ones who were responsible of ceasing lives back in your planet, but I never joined their exploits there. "

" Well, I need to ask my father how and why they destroyed Hala in this universe."

" So, will you ever find him? "

" I don't think I have more time, since I have been focusing to finish Agent Lawson's final case, " he answered. " But eventually, I will meet my father here. "

" I see, " the Cybertronian nodded and joked. " I guess I have to join you going back to the Avengers West Compound. Perhaps, you might show up in your true form."

" Maybe later, " the Kree Eternal chuckled. " There's someone who has been nosy at me to reveal myself for him. "

" A friend then? "

" Yes, " he nodded, walked few steps, and sat down.

The Kree Eternal was still in recovery since his terminal illness had taken a toll of him. He got tired of fighting and sadly looked at the ocean scenery. He missed his family and friends from his home universe. Skyblade got concerned at him and scanned the Kree's body.

" Are you all right, Mr. Marvel? " he asked.

" Remember I told you I have been recovering? Even the most powerful men in the universe get drained and sad after fighting too much..." the masked Kree said. " I have risked my life for everything for a month. "

" You have to keep on fighting, sir. No matter what. What is it you're longing for? "

" To get fully recovered from this illness, finish this case, and reunite with my family very soon. "

" Then, you will attain soon enough..."

" You're right, thank you, " Mr. Marvel smiled and stood up. " Let's go back. "'

" Right. " Skyblade nodded.

The two left the forest as they flew above the skies. Shatter and Dropkick were managing themselves to return into their shape and slowly standing up from the ground.

" Now, what are we going to tell Megatron about this? " he asked.

" We'll let him know we have failed taking down Skyblade, " she answered.

" But he's..."

" This is not the right time to destroy him, since we have another powerful enemy with him. Our focus for the meantime is to search for the Control Stone's whereabouts. "

" Right...Right... We can make sure to find it, but our fight against Skyblade is not yet over! "
