One
Cas woke up in the arms of his boyfriend, Aaron, and smiled contently. It had been weeks since the last accident, and Cas and Aaron were really making it work. Cas worked his way out of Aaron's arms and went to the kitchen to make some breakfast. He made some scrambled eggs and was almost finished with the bacon to go along with it when Aaron walked out of their room.
"Good morning babe," Cas said, beaming at him.
"Morning Cas," Aaron said, smiling.
"I made breakfast," Cas told him, holding up the last few pieces of bacon before putting them on the plate. Aaron sat at the table and Cas started setting everything in front of him.
"Thank you, Cas, it looks great," Aaron said, starting to dig in. Cas beamed and started cleaning the kitchen up. Aaron hated messes.
"What do you have planned for today, Cas?" Aaron asked.
"I don't know, probably reading a book. I just got a new one. It's about this guy who-"
"That sounds great. Can you make a grocery run sometime today? We're running out of food," Aaron said. Cas nodded. He needed to remember not to talk so much. No one cared about the books he was reading.
"Yeah, I can do that," he said.
"Great. I'll be out late tonight, so don't wait up, okay? Just leave some food out on the counter, I can reheat it," Aaron said.
"Of course," Cas replied. When Aaron had finished his breakfast he went back to their room to get ready for work. Cas stayed out in the kitchen and played some music to clean by. One of the songs got him a little enthusiastic and he started to dance around. Cas was enjoying himself until he knocked over the glass vase that was sitting on the counter. It hit the floor with a crash and shattered apart. Cas froze.
"What was that?" Aaron yelled from their room. Cas rushed to the pieces of the vase and started picking them up as Aaron burst in. Cas didn't look at Aaron.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. Aaron baby, I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry," Cas babbled. Aaron pulled Cas up and threw him against the wall. Cas tried not to cry out. He just had to let Aaron get rid of his anger, then it would be okay. It would be okay. Aaron slapped Cas across the face.
"You clumsy bitch! That was my mother's!" Aaron looked at the vase again and punched Cas in the face. "That had better be cleaned up when I get back, Castiel," he snarled. He let Cas go and Cas scrambled over to the pieces of the vase as Aaron stormed back to their bedroom. Cas held back tears as he cleaned up the glass with shaking hands. He straightened up hurriedly to dump the glass he had into the trash can and lost his balance. He reached out his hand to break his fall and it landed on a piece of the glass. Cas tried not to cry out and hurried to finish cleaning up.
When Aaron walked back in, his face was much softer. Cas stood against the counter, holding his cut hand in a washcloth so he wouldn't get blood on the floor.
"Cas, what happened?" Aaron asked when he saw the blood stained washcloth.
"I c-cut myself," Cas said softly.
"Let me get you bandaged up. I'm sorry if I scared you, Cas. You know you shouldn't make me mad," Aaron said, leading Cas to the table. Cas sat down.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," he said.
"I know. Stay here, I'll be right back," Aaron said.
After Aaron had bandaged Cas' hand and left for work, Cas went about making a grocery list, trying to ignore the pain in his left hand and his face. He cleaned the apartment and set off for the store at about noon.

Cas was staring at the frozen pizzas, completely lost in thought, when someone spoke next to him making him jump mile high.
"Trying to catch them on fire with your mind? I've been there. Stupid things never light." Cas whirled around to see a blond haired, green eyed man watching him with an amused look. "Are you okay there?" The man asked.
"I- I- yes. I'm s-sorry," Cas stammered. The man smiled.
"Hey, it's cool. You seemed really focused, I would've been more surprised if you weren't scared. What's your name?" The man asked.
"Castiel. But call me Cas," Cas said. He rather liked this man.
"Okay Cas. I'm Dean. It's nice to meet you."
