'Borrowing' Food
Y/n's POV
Great! They were right under me! How am I going to escape?
I sighed quietly.
'So they're camping,' I thought. I shivered as my hand became sweaty. I hated camping.
I looked around for any means of escape.
'Ok, maybe I could slide down the tree quietly using my claws,' I thought, looking at my black nails, which were pointed.
I moved stealthily, to the branch opposite of mine, before making my way down, using my claws to help me break when I needed to stop. I dropped to the grass ground silently and scurried behind trees, staying in the shadows.
I peeked from behind a tree to look at the family.
They were all sitting in sleeping bags, a camp fire in the middle, and I finally got a view of what the family looked like.
There was a boy, about 3 years younger than me, who had a blue vest, orange vest, gray shorts and a blue trucker hat with a pine tree on it.
The girl was wearing a pink sweater with a shooting star on it and a purple skirt with a pink head band.
The girl and the boy looked the same age, and very similar; they must be twins.
There was an older man, who wore a black suit, fez and red tie.
There was another elderly man, who looked exactly like the first one, so they must also be twins. He wore a red shirt, black pants and a beige trench coat.
Finally, there was a guy, who looked like a child. He wore a green shirt with a darker green question mark on it. He also wore grey short and a brownish cap.
The smell of hot dogs reached my nose, and I almost started to drool.
"So, who wants to tell scary stories?" The girl asked, stuffing marshmallows in her mouth.
I chuckled quietly; she reminded me of myself when I went camping my first time.
"Not really, pass the chips Mabel!" the boy asked, pointing to the bag next to Mabel.
The girl threw a bag of chips at the boy, and he started to eat them.
I was really trying to keep myself from running and stealing all the food.
Dipper's POV
I took a chip from the bag.
I was about to eat it, when I stopped. I felt like I was being watched from some where.
"Hey, do you fell like we're being watched?" I whisper, looking around.
Ford looked around, and nodded. "Yes, I wonder if it's Bill," he said.
"Oh god, not the triangle guy!" Mabel exclaimed, opening a bag of chips.
"Maybe we're lucky and he won't bother us," Stan said, chugging down Pitt Cola.
"Yeah, maybe," I said, putting the chip in my mouth.
The thing is: I don't think it's Bill.
"Ok, what about we play, Truth, Dare, or Nothing!" my twin exclaimed, changing the subject.
"Fine," I said, smiling a bit, and putting the thought of being watched in the back of head.
This was camping after all, it's supposed to be fun.
Y/n's POV
I continued to watch the family play Truth, Dare, or Nothing.
I know, I was technically stalking them, but I was only going to do it until the went to sleep so I could, um, well, 'borrow' some food.
I sat down in the trees' shadows, so the family couldn't see me, but I could see them.
It was a while before they went to sleep, and even then, the girl, Mabel, refused, even though she was practically falling asleep every five minutes.
Finally, the family retreated into the tents and put the fire out, the night once again become pitch black.
I waited about two minutes before making my move. I scurried over to a bag where I had saw them stash the snacks in. I rummaged in there, grabbing chips and anything else I could grab.
I ran back into the safety of the trees with my arms full of food. I greedily ate a quarter of my stash, before falling asleep on the grass, the food scraps and bags, spread around me.
A/n: Here you go! Take the next chapter!
