I wanted to do something a little special / different from my usual things to mark today because for some reason today means more to me than my actual birthday wHOOPS. 😳✌️

Thank you so much for getting your questions in! I love so many of them, like I had no idea people would come up with such great questions.
Some of them really put me on the spot as I hadn't actually thought about it previously!

The questions are anonymous (mostly because that's easier)

Why did you first join watttpad?
Because my friends told me to! 😂 I have definitely never been one to follow the crowd / do something just because my friends are doing it, but when I heard about an app that gave be access to a tonne of free books?? and a place to write my own?? Couldn't have joined quicker.
The weirdest part is that the friends I remember being the ones to tell me... whale, I was only ever following one of them and I honestly don't know if the other ever had it...

What are you passionate about?
Oof. A tonne of things.😅
1. Animal lives are just as important (if not more so) than human lives. [and yes i know humans are animals too but writing 'animals minus humans' every time gets annoying XD]

2. Everyone deserves to have a voice and everyone deserves to have that voice listened to. If that voice isn't making sense or has their facts wrong, they should be taught different instead of shut down and blocked out.

3. Reformation before punishment. Locking someone away for committing a crime at first sounds great - because yay they can't do it again - but chances are they committed that crime because they're built differently to the rest of us. And that's okay. They're not evil, they're not monsters, and yes they may prove to be a helpless case in that they won't change, but they deserve for us to try.

4. Pro-life (I won't go into detail because I don't want to be attacked).

5. No one should eat meat unless you have health reasons (including that you simply don't like much food at all and if you didn't eat meat you wouldn't have enough left to keep you alive - seriously guys, look after yourselves first <3).
Meat isn't a dietary requirement - protein is but there's a lot of that in a massive variety of veg - and it's better for the environment as well as the literal animals.
But I will also never force this on anyone because I don't like sounding mean and I love you guys.

6. Every story is worth telling. Every story deserves to be heard. Who are we, if not our stories? [The one's we've lived and the one's we've created.]

7. So so so many things, okay? Like literally so much. I could go on forever listing things that I could rant about because of how much I care but I won't because it would literally take a whole book.

What is your favourite film, where were you watching it when you first saw it, who with and why is it your favourite?
I put these two questions together because they're literally the same thing - just one goes into more detail.

When I first saw it... no idea ngl it was yEARS ago but it will have been with my family.
It's my favourite because, whale, look. It's a movie with fun music about animals with not a human in sight and it's got villains, heroes, a parent-friend bird and two really funny sidekicks and a story that isn't made light of y'know, like there's real stuff in there and real hard hitting scenes. It's an emotional rollercoaster with some of the best characters ever.

Why did you pick this username?
What is your favourite animal?
I put these two together because the answer to the second one basically answers the first XD
My favourite animal is the red panda. I chose this username because my original username had my name in it anyway so I kept that bit and then I added my favourite animal to it and... voilà!

What inspired you to write The Mirror Cup and Candle?
Wow I hate that title so much-
It was originally based off a prompt for the 2020 Open Novella Contest by Wattpad. Then I liked the characters too much and developed plot too much to finish it as a novella oOPS.

Why did you start writing in general?
Because I've always loved writing stories and honestly I can't remember when I started. I loved it when we were asked to do it in Year 6 but I can't remember if that was the first time I'd really done it or not. 😂

Who's your favourite character from your own stories?
THAT'S SO MEAN AND SO HARD NOOOOOO
That greatly depends on whether or not you're including the stories I will write as well as have written. Because I have a list of stories that are well enough developed in my head with amazing characters that I just haven't had time to rewrite/finish writing/etc.
One story that no one knows anything about at all (which is the oldest story of mine that I still haven't written out because I wrote it/played it out in my head for so many years before I started writing properly) means a lot to me for the reasons I put in brackets... I wonder why I put that in brackets... Eh. Anyway, the mc from that is probably my favourite because she has a massive place in my heart.
If we're going from things I've written more than just the first chapter of 'XD then it's quite possibly Alannah. She's from TMOA though it's currently unpublished but it's also one of the most developed story lines with the most developed characters out of everything I've done so ??? I will eventually write and publish that. If you managed to read the published parts of TMOA before I took it down (which must be at least 1 year ago now) then you'll know Alannah as Sophie. They've all had name changes lol.
I also love Lexis, Flax, Adriel and the girl you don't know the name of yet from TMCAC so much and Ava from The Fist and I also love Keren, Lola and Spriglet from TKD. I haven't even written Keren in yet but I love her. And Adelaide from TMOA but y'all never met her. She's only in the re-draft.
I've just realised the only male that classifies as a favourite character is Flax. Go him.
And probably the other mc from the one you don't even know the title of yet lol, he's male too and probably is a fave.
But I love all of them so much because they're all my family.

What do you have a phobia of and is there any reason why?

as soon as i even start to think about it i can feel myself start to freeze up and come close to tears i can't-
if i explain it i'll go, i'm sorry

there's probably another fear i can say instead
oh yeah!!! (tonnes lol) I'm scared that none of my friends are permanent. Meeting new friends is amazing and it's the only way to get friends in the first place and that's fine for where I am in life now but what if I don't have all of you in a few years time?

My best friend from primary school is now just a friend I sometimes text but rarely (but we have great conversations about books if we're reading the same one at the same time) and my other best friend from the later years of primary school is the same again but without the book conversations.
I mean the list goes on and with some (most) of those friends, I'm not lucky enough to even still be in contact with them. Specifically quite a few on here.
Also (and this affected a group of us - all who are no longer on Wattpad but I have them on another app) I had this one amazing friend on here and then one day oh whoops what's that? we realise she was lying the whole time about who she was and what was happening and she'd hacked her friend's account and we'd been talking about random and casual and possibly personal oops things to a stalker for about 6 months to a year. If I see her name anywhere I panic 😅- oops

Have you ever been inspired by me for a character in your book? or wOULD you ever use something I say, do, act liek, or even my personal apprearance for your character?
Okay I can say that for this person, the answer is yes. And they should know that because they read the book they were in 😂
It's called Wattpad Magic Academy and I used all my friends at the time from here in it as the characters. It is one of the one's I'm keeping and have planned more and will be re-writing but it will be called Wildheart Magic Academy and Wildheart is now the last name of the royal family across my books, okay? 😂🤣

I could have chosen a cooler name but it fits the personalities of the royal family and it keeps the initials at WMA which was my main goal.
Keeping initials the same is also why I haven't yet renamed TMOA because wow it's hard to get titles to fit that--
ANYWAY as for the AcTuAl QuEsTiOn EmMa, yes. And the same goes for a large number of others too. Everyone who was in WMA will remain in WMA but those who weren't added in yet might be moved to being extras in TMCAC book 2 or WMA book 2 because that thing will probably take a whole book just explaining plot never mind writing it OOPS. And maybe TKD, who knows?

What's your favourite word? This might sound weird but what's a word you commonly use in your vocabulary an enjoy.

What's your favourite fashion aesthetic that you have currently/ wish you had? (Can be dated fashion, like 70's aesthetic, etc)
Welp I am not fashion oriented like my clothes look like what they are - thrown together by a tired brain in a morning.
as for what I wish I had - I really like the plaid shirt tied round the waist look which sounds weird but y'know... what Zendaya wears in K.C. Undercover.
I also really like the tops that are like tied at the side with a short skirt/shorts look.
Here are my problems: I have no confidence hA.
I could wear the stuff maYbE but and have people see me? No. And you know the weirdest part? The part I'd hate the most is my family to see me wearing it because I feel like they'd judge it or whatever and they might nOt but it's like I've dressed the same for so long I kNOW they'd comment on it if my style changed and I really can't.
Also what I wear now might not look good but wow it's comfortable.

I know we've spoke about publishing before, and I know your route that your currently going in right now is digital! However, if you had the chance to publish, what are your hopes of publishing, and what are your goals/ achievements?
Honestly I just want to get a book out there and have someone choose to buy it and read it and not hate it like wow
but e-book is goal because it's the only one I can do for free-

What are a few of your inspirations when creating a mood/ character?/ place?
Inspo comes from rAndom places. Usually my brain just goes POOF have this and it must come from somewhere but really I don't know where that somewhere is.
My brain finds things and relays them back to me when I need it but without telling me where it got them from.

If you had the chance to meet and talk to one of your characters AND a tv show/ book/ movie character, who would you meet? (Doesn't have to be human)

2. she's so similar to me in that she's competitive, honest, doesn't give up (or doesn't like to)
3. new bullet point coz idk how much of this i am but tough. she's also so fast and strong like-
4. she lives on a farm
5. makes time for both family and friends
