For a while I've kinda had this background stress that one day, all of my best friends who are younger than me

Would just leave me

Because I was too old.

I know this sounds stupid because we all age at the same rate (or do we? 🤔 well no, we don't. But we all live through the same length of time between one birthday and the next).

But everyone here's a difference when the same age gap is moved up and down the years.

Example:

20 yr old friends with 13 yr old sounds awful.

But 47 yr old with 40 yr old doesn't sound anything but normal.

And I know my age gap with friends isn't as big as that but still. 18 and 14 will become 20 and 16 and I got scared that those 16 yr old friends would think it's too much and purposefully drift away.

BUT

This isn't an ALBOS chapter.

This is simply LAT.

Which does mean this isn't a problem for me anymore.

Obviously there's still some worry left that some friends don't like me as much as they pretend to etc but it's not age based

Not even slightly

Some of my absolute best friends in the world are younger than me.

And I wouldn't change that for the world 💓💓💓

I know this chapter may seem a little pointless but I needed to say it. Because it's a development in my life and in my personality and it's one more self-created weight lifted from my shoulders and I'm proud of it.
