Chapter 9: Doctor Marcoh

Edward's P.O.V.

"To Risembol we go~!" Scarlett sang lively. Though, I was about to murder her for singing it for the past six hours. SERIOUSLY. STAHP.

"We understand alright!?!?" I yelled more threatening words, but it didn't phase her happy attitude. She finally stopped, but key a smiled from ear to ear. Why is she so happy to go to a town she's never been to?

"I don't get why you're so happy; it's just a town." I murmured, looking back out the window. She looked out the window, but this time had a sad smile.

"Because it's normal. Something I've never had the pleasure of knowing." She replied. What did she mean by that? This girl is the weirdest thing I've encountered. And that's saying something. Anyway, here we are, on a train to Risembol. She fixed Alphonse up enough to the point he can walk pretty well without hurting his seal, but we still need to be careful.

Scarlett's P.O.V. Three hours later~

"We're LOST!?!" I screamed at Ed. OH great! Here we are in a small little village with no idea in hell where we are!

"Shut up damn woman!!" He yelled back as he looked at a map. Afterwards, he sighed, and kept walking. I slung his suitcase over my shoulder as I lazily followed behind. I wonder if he is different. This Ed doesn't blow up as much as my Edward, and has better ideas off hand than running at the enemy head on.  Suddenly, I looked forward, and both Elric brothers were gone!!

"OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT..." I mumbled as I looked around before feeling a pair of hands wrap around my waist and pull me into a stack of hay.

"Sh..." I heard Ed's voice on my neck and I involuntarily shivered. We looked out of the hay, and there was Major Armstrong!! He looked like he was looking for someone- or us. I almost said something, but I remembered.

They don't know him. He doesn't know me.

He passed, and we stepped out of the stack pulling bits and pieces of the tiny stuff from Al's armor.

"Thanks!" He put a hand on my shoulder making me smile at his childish ways. I shook off the gratitude, and looked to Ed.

"What now, sweet prince?" I smirked as I slung an arm around his shoulder. He blushed slightly.

"We-"

"Doctor Marcoh is a god!"
"Yeah, he's cured us so mysteriously, just with one red stone.." Ed froze; so did I. Did I just hear about a doctor and a certain red stone..?

( -_-)

MARCOH! I ran up to some of the people and grabbed them by the collar.
"Where is he?" I asked, yet they eyes me before shaking their head.

"We don't rat out our own doctor." He lowly stated, but I didn't stop.

"He's a friend!!"

They hesitated before pointing me in the right direction. The walk there was mostly trying to come up with a cover story to tell both Ed and Al. Because they never believe me. Because they think I'm cray cray.

"Doctor Marcoh..?" I knocked on his door lightly. It was an evergreen while the rest of his house was white with the same color for accent. I looked into the window, before the door opened quickly to a frightened Marcoh with a gun trained on Ed.

"You're not taking me back there!!" He shouted placing a finger on the trigger.

"ED GET DROP TO THE GROUND!!" And like a base, I pushed him to the ground. Al stepped in front of us and began calming the doctor down. Way to go Al! Soon enough, we were invited into his house and sitting around a big table.

For the next hour, Ed had been begging Marcoh to give him the secret to making a Philosophers Stone, but there was not much luck. I left the house for a bit to look around the town. When I had come back, the two Elrics walked out, Ed stopped and seemed to look deeply at one of his walls; which was weird if you as me, but hey- with these two anything's possible.

"Well, I got a schedule of the trains, and the next one to- what's up with you?"

"Stuff. We simply gotta hurry up with this patch up job and hurry back to Central." He said absent mindedly. I hugged out a bit of air before taking a bite of the kabob I had order while I was out and about. Pretty tasty. Ahead of me, Al stopped, and I almost ran into him if it weren't for what had caught my attention.

The brigadier general.

But, he died.

WHA!?!

"Ah, FullMetal, I've been needing to talk to you." He smiled, but I knew better. As Ed and Al let their guards down, I grabbed their wrists and dragged them off into another direction.

"What are you doing bitch!?" Ed screamed up at me as we kept running.

"That isn't the brigadier general! He was killed by Scar!!" I snapped back as I led us into a tunnel below the street. There. We should be safe now.

"How do you know he was killed?" Al asked; anxiously.

"I had a front row seat." I huffed. I stood up straighter from where I leaned on the side. The cobblestone cold in my right hand.

BOOM.

"Shit! Move!!!" I pushed both boys away from one side of the tunnel where fake general and his fake mustache stood now. "When I say run, you run!!" I instructed them both; inching both of my hands closer together to create a transmutation.

"No! We're not leaving you to fend for yourself!" Al stood his ground beside me. I stood shocked for a moment, before fake general attacked. I ducked quickly and counter attacked by trying to crush him with the cobblestone.

Key word: tried.

He was about to bring a fist down on my face, when a boulder of rock came flying and hitting him in the face.

..DAFQ?

Edward's P.O.V.

Okay, what is that? I looked down at the rock that was carved into the upper half of a really muscular man.

"Armstrong; I was wondering when you would show up." General smirked as he stood his ground above Scarlett. The man from earlier stepped through the gaping hole made by the smashed rock, and loomed above.

"It's alright, children," WHO YOU CALLIN' CHILD!?!? He threw off his shirt and flexed his muscles.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

"LET ME SHOW YOU THE POWER OF THE ARMSTRONG LINE!!" He declared loudly before charging at the fake brigadier general.
