Mira and Ezra ran back to the Ghost.

They explained everything to Kanan, Hera, and Chopper.

They were all terribly worried for Sabine and knew they had to act fast.

But Mira needed training first.

Kanan grabbed a spare training lightsaber that he had created a few years prior (in case they ever needed it, for times like this).

Ezra demonstrated a practice swing "Like this." He explained showing Mira how to stand.

"Okay so like this?" Mira asked, trying to copy his position.

"Exactly. Now don't be discouraged if it takes a few tr-" Ezra started to say, before Mira copied the swing perfectly.

"Wow." Ezra said, amazed.

"How'd she do?" Kanan asked.

"P-perfect. Spot on." Ezra said, still in shock.

"So she doesn't get that part from you Ezra." Hera said, laughing.

Mira burst out laughing and fell over on the floor (thankfully deactivating the lightsaber).

"Okay okay it was a little funny. Now let's please train." Ezra said, smiling his same old dumb dorky smile and rolling his eyes.

He showed Mira move after move, and stance after stance, and she got them all perfectly.

"Now let's try one on one combat." Ezra said, grabbing his lightsaber and turning it on.

Mira nodded and turned on hers.

They began to fight.

Mira force pushed Ezra so strong that he fell backwards and his lightsaber deactivated.

Within seconds Mira had the tip of her blade at Ezra's chin.

Ezra put his hands up in surrender. "Remind me never to get on your bad side." He said laughing.

Mira deactivated her lightsaber and helped her father up.

They were ready to save Sabine.

Kanan had a brilliant idea.

"Let's contact-" he started to say before Hera finally slapped him.

"NO EMPIRE KANAN MY GOD THEY ARE THE ONES WHO KIDNAPPED SABINE!" Hera said with fury.

".....I was going to say let's contact Fulcrum....." Kanan said rubbing his check.

"You mean Kallus? Oh....oops." Hera said meekly.

"He's still inside. I'll see if he can help."

Hera nodded and they all walked over to the holo table.

Kallus appeared as a hologram.

"You're here about Sabine Wren aren't you?" He asked.

"Y-yes. How did you know?" Ezra asked, crossing his arms.

"She....she's here a-and...." Kallus started to say, trailing off nervously.

"And what?" Hera asked, a little concerned.

"In a few hours....I've..." he stumbled.

Then he took a deep breath

"I've been ordered to kill her." He said, holding back a tear.

Ezra fell sobbing.

Kanan and Hera gasped and clung to eachother worrying.

Mira stepped up.

"But you're not going to. You're going to help her." She said seriously.

"I want to but I-" he was cut off.

"You want to and you will. You know the Empire is the wrong side. You will show up. You will raise your blaster, but it will be on stun. Your stun her. That'll buy us a moment before they notice. Then we'll attack. You'll come back with us. I know you will." She said without skipping a beat.

"I-what?" Kallus asked, taken aback.

"You will. I know that you will." She said, a smile of hope appearing on her face.

"...I'll....I'll do it." He said after hesitating.

Ezra looked up at him with a smile, his face still covered in tears. "T-thank you K-Kallus." He said gratefully.

"Don't thank me yet. Be there. I may not be the one killing her but someone else will. Just be there." Kallus said, before ending the holo message.

"You heard him." Ezra said, standing up hugging Mira. "Let's go."

Awwww I just love writing about Mira 😍😍 and Kallus yassssss. Mira is wise. Listen to Mira. 😎I think she takes after me don't you? The wiseness is strong in my family....
