When you bring home bad grades.....

Normal Grading system

A ≫ 90-100
B ≫ 80-89
C ≫ 70-79

Bengali Parents Grading System

A＋≫ 100 
(Expectation): "Mashallah, I'm so proud!" *buy you you a phone*
(Reality): ".....Mashallah...." (¬_¬)

A ≫ 90-99

(Expectation) : "Great job!" *get you whatever you want or take you where ever you want*

(Reality): "Only 98? Where did the other 2 points go?"

B ≫ 80-89

(Expectation) "Good, but next time try your best to get an A, okay?"

(Reality) "Very bad! Why a B? What happened to the other 11 points? Where is the A?"

Next thing you know your parents are yelling at you for having an 89!

C ≫ 70-79

(Expectation) "Do a better job next time and make this be your first and last C, okay?

(Reality) "C! You are FAILING!!!"

Next thing you know you are being lectured about getting a 79 and it's all your laptop,computer,and T.Vs fault.

Basically in a Bengali family anything below an A is considered bad or FAILING.
