Testimony IV
Wait, what?!
"Who's that?" I asked, "And why is he giving flowers to Angelica?"
"That's Oliver, Oliver London. He is one of the smartest students here. In the rankings of our grade level, he is tied to Angelica. They both get 100 points and ranked 1st." Mark explained, "He is the one who challenged himself that he could make Angelica fall inlove with him since he's madly inlove with Angelica." He added.
"He's inlove with Angelica?" I mumbled.
"For now, there is not much progress." He said.
Angelica looks at Oliver and stares at him for awhile. I suddenly thought, if it's possible for Angelica to love.
I suddenly saw a girl running up to Mark as she gives him her phone, "Quick! Film it!" She said.
Mark started filming, it is on live stream of course.
"Jade here! To bring you live, about Oliver London's progress on the challenge. Will Angelica finally be inlove with him or not?" The girl said, figuring out her name is Jade.
Mark zooms in the camera to the scene as I watch.
I suddenly stood up from my seat, and little steps moving forward to get to Angelica. Angelica looks at me and stands up and calls my name, "Tristan."
I flinched and everyone looked at me.
I noticed Mark moved the camera to me as Jade spoke, "Miss Calli ignores Mister London instead, she calls out to one of the new students. This student came from my class and his name is Tristan Ford."
Angelica tossed keys to me as I caught it. The keys were hanging on the keychain and there is one funny-looking key.
"You're in charge of locking the classroom later after school." She said walking away, she stopped and looked back at me, "Yesterday, I was the one who locked it, so it's your turn."
"Wait? Why me?" I asked.
"You're the Vice President!" She replied and walked away.
"But you're the president!" I shouted but she ignored it.
"Well folks, it seems like Angelica's heart is still cold to Oliver. I'll be back for another news about Oliver's challenge!" Jade said as she approaches me and signals Mark to stop filming.
I looked at them puzzled.
"Your name is Tristan, right?" The boy namely Oliver asked as he approached.
I nod.
"What's your deal?" He asked angrily.
"My deal?" I was puzzled.
Dominica steps into scene and coughs. "Is everything alright?"
Damn! I forgot Dominica is sitting with us.
Instead of continuing the conversation, I walked away.
I walked out of the cafeteria when someone suddenly drags me to a corner of the next hallway next to the cafeteria.
"What the--?" I was cut off, "Shh! It's just me." I realized it was Angelica.
"So now you're dragging me to a corner after not telling me someone in this school likes you?" I said with a hint of annoyance.
She looked at me with a deadpan look. She flicked my forehead as I cover it in pain, "What did you do that for?!" I asked, annoyed.
"First of all, I don't care about Mister London. Second, I was here to study the human world also so I can blend in and protect you secretly from others and to look for you." She explained, "Third, Oliver is not a human at all." She added.
I looked at her confused, "What?"
"Oliver is a spirit also. He is one of the best spirit warriors. He said that he is here to protect me when I am danger." She said as she emphasizes the word protect with annoyance.
"Protect you?" I wondered.
"He thinks I'm a damsel in distress just because I am the only girl who joined the Spirit Warrior course." She said.
"Wait, what? How about that, that, spirit who attacked me yesterday?" I asked.
"Demi is not even a warrior. She's a sorceress, and most girls join the Sorcery Course. So basically, she's more powerful than me." She explained.
I nod my head finally understanding the situation.
"Wait, how old are you exactly?" I asked.
"I have no age." She replied.
"Okay...that makes sense. But in this world? What's your age to the people?" I asked.
"16." She answered.
"Well, I'm 17, and you don't have an age in your real lifestyle. So, that makes me older." I said proudly.
"I said I had no age because I don't want you to know my exact age since my age is endless and my look remains the same once I reached the human teens, unless someone kills me." She said.
"So what is your exact age?"
"316."
I widened my eyes, "That old?!"
"My parents are 4,000 years old and above." She responded, "My grandparents are probably around 7,000 and above." She added.
My jaw was ajar from the info given to me.
"Anyways, show me the keys I gave you earlier." She said.
I followed as I pulled out the keys.
"See that key?" She asked as she points at the funny-looking one.
I nodded.
"That is the key of communication. You can use it to communicate with the invisible spirits around us, such as Nature Spirits, Animal Spirits and many more." She explains, "That is also the way for us to communicate if we're far apart other than phones." She adds.
"Got it." I said.
"That key chain is a bracelet to tell the truth." She said bluntly.
"Wait? Really?" I was shocked.
"Pull the other keys out the key chain." She said.
I did. She gets the keychain with thw funny-looking hanging, from me and asks for my hand and I gladly give her what she needed. She wraps the keychain around my wrist and it magically turned into a bracelet. Luckily it's not in girls' color. But it's perfect and looks like an ordinary bracelet.
"Training later, tonight, at your house." She said and went to the classroom for the next class.
"Hey wait! Recess will be over! Let's go to the classroom together since we're classmates!" I called out.
"Feel free, Mister Ford! Feel free!" She said loudly.
