Testimony III

I started following myself, I mean, my illusory past me.

"That kid sure is noisy." I heard a voice coming from the branches of the tree that is above me.

The owner of the voice jumped off the branch and turned around.

That girl.

"Looks like my job on this garden is not done yet." She said. She followed the young me and so did I.

"Okay, so since I am now following the young me. How will I activate my vision?" I said to myself.

I thought as I kept on following the girl and the young me on how to activate it.

"Am I just going to say Vision?" I said to myself as I closed my eyes and opened them.

I was shocked from what I saw. The girl draw out her sword at the monster I just saw.

"A monster." I mumbled as I touched the silver crucifix, I mean the stone. The stone shone as the chain disappears, the stone slowly turning into a sword. It floats like ghost infront of me as if it's calling me.

I held the sword in my hand.

"I can make this stone into a sword. That's right fighting skills." I said to myself and ran to the monster.

I slashed my sword unto it, killing it.

"Who in the world are you?" I flinched on the question that was asked by a girl.

"You could see me?" I asked.

"And hear you." She added as she reaches out her hand about to touch me by my arm.

My arm disappears once she touched me but reappears again.

"You're an illusion. You're not from this time, aren't you?" She asked.

I nodded.

She looked at me with pride and said, "Good bye!" She said and followed the young me once again.

Guess I better kept going.

"Training's over!" I heard Lily said as the scenario of the garden disappeared.

"Already?" I asked.

She nodded, "I can't believe that you did not notice the monster sneaking behind you." She sighed in disappointment.

I looked at her disbelief, "I'm not magical like you." I whined.

"You are now, you've activated your magic triggering your magical side which was hidden. You were really magical deep down, since the first day we met, since the day I saved you and since---" I cut her off, "Since the day I became a keeper." I finished her sentence.

"No." She said.
"What?"
"Since the day you were born." She said.

Since the day I was born?

"You still don't know your past, Tristan." She clarified, "I'll meet you tomorrow at school." She said and left.

I was left confused. What does she meant?

I lied down on my bed and heaved a sigh. I slowly closed my eyes, falling asleep.

"What's with the crying? A newborn child like you should not cry." A girl's voice said.

It was smokey, and there were flames everywhere. Looks like a fire had started.

"This should protect you." She said as sparkles appeared forming a barrier around the crying the baby.

"Aah!" I panted as I plopped myself up.

I looked at the clock to see that there's an hour left before school. I got ready and skipped breakfast and walked all the way to school.

I soon entered the classroom, the first person I saw was Angelica.

"Hi." I greeted.

"Hey." She greeted back.

I observed what she is doing. Honestly, I don't really know what she's doing. She's just stacking a pile of papers.

"What's that?" I asked.

She looks at me, "It's for the whole class." She replied a bit in a cold tone.

I was puzzled. "Are you okay?" I asked.

"There's a new student. She'll be in our class." She said coldly.
"So?"
"Something's wrong. I got a feeling about this new student." She said.

Huh?

"You have never met her yet." I said.

She shook her head, "Stay away from her as much as possible." She said and went to her seat.

I looked at her worried.

"Hey, Tristan!" A familiar voice called. It was Mark.

"Good morning." I greeted.

He hugged me, "I'm so glad you're safe!" He said happily. He pulls out of the hug and says, "We will have a new classmate though."

I nodded, "Found out from Angelica." I said.

He suddenly dragged me to the corner of the room. He wraps his arm around my shoulders, "Stay away from her! She's creepy!" He whispered.

I looked around and glanced at Angelica assuming if it was her that Mark is describing.

"Angelica?" I whispered back.
"Hush! She might hear you! And yes, Angelica is so creepy." He whispered.

I looked away from him, "She's not that creepy when you get to know her." I thought.

"Still, stay away from her! It was rumored that she is somehow connected with the devil." He said, "That is why there demon attacks here every school year." He added.

"What are you guys talking about?" Angelica, who was already standing behind us, asked.

Mark immediately stepped back and went to his seat.

"Nothing. We're talking about this new student." I lied.

She nodded and went to her seat.

Just in time, my classmates walked in. They all sit at their seats as soon as the teacher comes in.

"Is everyone here?" He asked.
"Yes." We replied.

"Good, cause we have a new student." He said as he walks to his table.

So it is true then.

A young girl walks in the classroom. She has a shiny long black hair that reaches her back, a big black nerdy glasses and a headband above her head.

"Good day everyone. I am Dominica River, but you can call me Dominic if you want to." She introduced.

I watched her look around and her eyes landed on me. I noticed her looked at Angelica.

Strange.

"Ms. River, there's an available seat at the back. Beside Mr. Johnson." Our teacher said.

The new student went to her seat as she glances at me, and her eyes remaining at me. Soon, she faced infront as she sat down on her seat.

"That girl..." I heard Angelica mumbled. I ignored what she said and decided to listen to the teacher.

"Miss River, if you need anything, you can ask Mister Ford and Miss Calli. They are the Vice President and President of this class." Our teacher said and started the lesson.

Morning classes were soon over. We all proceeded to the cafeteria for recess.

I sat with Mark and thought to invite Angelica to sit with us.

"Where is Angelica?" I asked.

"She doesn't like sitting with others. She dislikes also noise and crowded places, that's why she always sat at the corner there." Mark explained as he pointed at the corner where Angelica is.

I nodded.

"May I sit with you?" I turned around to see the new girl. "You may." I replied.

"You must be Tristan Ford?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Some girls over there are waving at you." Dominica said as she points to some girls by the counter who are waving at me. I looked over there and shrugged.

Everyone suddenly gasped for no reason.

"What is it?" I asked Mark while Dominica wears a puzzled look.

Mark pointed at the cafeteria's door so I turned my head there and saw a boy who seems to be at my age, holding flowers.

The boy proudly walks over to Angelica's table and kneels down on one knee as he hands the flowers to Angelica, "Flowers for you." He said.

Wait, what?!
