Testimony I

I have chosen you.

I plopped myself up on my bed.

"It's still haunting me." I murmured.

I checked the time and got ready for school.

After getting ready, I skipped breakfast and took ride way to my school. Soon, I reached my destination. I stood infront of the main gate and heaved a sigh.

Science University. This university is popular because of its agile students. They are always the top when it comes to competitions in regional, national and world. My new school.

"Tristan Ford." Someone said.

I flinched and looked to my right to see a lady who is older than me.

"This way." She gestured me to follow her. And I did.

As I walked through the hallways, I could see the students of this school walked like ghosts. They look so cold.

"I'm Adriana. The Student Council president." She said coldly, "Remember my name, cause if you don't, you'll be dead for sure, literally." She added.

What have I gotten myself into?

She stopped walking by the staircase, "This is my stop. Your room is on the 3rd floor, Room 301." She said and left.

I started climbing the stairs and walked the next hallway.

I passed by a black-haired girl. Her hair was not too short, not too long, it goes two inches below her shoulders. She seemed to be slender, and she is not that tall.

I felt something, a flash of light as we pass by each other, so I looked back.

She stopped walking and looked back at me. Her black orbs stared at my brownish black ones. She turned away from me and continued walking and so did I.

I soon reached my classroom.

I entered and saw cold faces. All my soon-to-be classmates sat on their seats wearing a cold expression. All of them have books on their desks.

I searched for a vacant seat.

"The teacher has already assigned us a seat. It is listed over there." One boy said pointing at the board.

I looked at the list and found out I am sitting at the front row, seat 5.

I take a seat. The seat next to me, seat 4 was empty.

The teacher soon entered. "Is everyone here?" He asked.

"Angelica is still not here, sir!" One student said.

A girl soon entered the classroom fiercely. I suppose that is Angelica. Figuring out, she was the same girl I saw earlier.

"Miss Calli, you are late." The teacher said.

"Sorry, sir." She apologized.

"Take a seat. Your seat is at seat 4." The teacher ordered.

She sat down next to me and looked at me.

"Time for nominations of officers. Who will be our president this year?" The teacher said.

One student raised his hand, "I nominate Angelica Calli for President." The teacher then wrote Angelica's name on the board.

"Who else?" He asked.

No one raised their hand.

"All in favor of Angelica as Class president, again." He said lowering down the tone on the word 'again'.

Everyone raised their hands.

"Stand infront Angelica." The teacher commanded and she followed.

"Vice President?" The teacher asked.

Angelica approached me, "Your name?"

"Tr-Tristan, Tristan Ford." I replied.

"All in favor of Tristan Ford as Vice President?" She announced.

Everyone raised their hands.

Wait, what?!

"Mister Ford, you're the new vice president. You and Miss Calli will decide who will take place on the rest of the officers. Take your break." The teacher said and left.

I stood from my seat and was about to leave my classroom, when someone called me.

"Tristan, right?" A boy with golden eyes and brown hair said.

I nodded.

"I'm Mark, by the way." He said with a smile, "Wanna eat with me?" He asked.

Oh thank God, someone here is not cold.

I nodded.

We went to the cafeteria and bought some food and sat by the window. "I hope no one will attack." He murmured as he chewed his food.

"Huh?" I looked at him puzzled.

"Six years ago, a new student namely Jason came here. During recess, first day of school, someone attacked us and killed her." He explained, "What happened to her also happened to the next new students." He added.

I shivered, "Oh gosh, please tell me, I am not gonna die." I said.

"It depends if you are going to survive or not or the spirit will save you or not. I mean, six years ago, a girl in white which we believe she is a spirit came and attempt to save Jasona but soon, she left her.--" he said, "We asked her why she did that, she said, "She is not the one who I should be protecting. It should be her spirit guardian and I'm not her guardian."". He explained.

I agaped my mouth and was about to say something when a dark mist appeared out of nowhere.

A girl with long red hair came.

"The stone of life and death should be mine!" She cried as she pointed at me.

She takes off her necklace with a shape of devil's weapon, which I have no idea what it is because it looks like a fork. She tosses it into midair and it transformed into the devil's weapon.

"What the hell?" I muttered.

"Run for your life, Tristan!" Mark cried as he ran away.

I turned to my heel and started running, unfortunately, this devil girl stood infront of me.

"Where do you think you're going? If my prediction is right, a new of student of this school is the keeper. Now surrender!" She said as I suddenly feel stiff.

She lifted me into midair with her magic and started fleeing.

I could hear the students screaming. If I know this would happen, then I should not have study in this school.

White light suddenly blazed upon us, appeared a girl. The girl was wearing a white warrior uniform, with a white cape, the cape's hood was on her. She wears a white and yellow lining mask.

"Let go of him, Demi." She said.

"Watch me......not do it!" The devil called Demi said and threw a huge boulder on the girl.

The girl was quick, she dodged it immediately. A silver and yellow crucifix was hanging around her neck. She pulled it off her neck and tossed it to midair. The crucifix soon turned into a sword.

She pointed the sword at the devil.

"By my power, blazing light!" She said.

"Wait, I'll die also!" I cried.

Demi smirked and dodged it. To her surprise, the girl was behind her and stabbed her with her sword.

"I am smarter than you Demi!" She said.

Demi lets me go as she slowly fades. "You'll never get away with this! I'll be back!" She screamed and disappeared.

The girl looked at me, "The name is Lily. And you must be Tristan." She said and helped me up.

I stared at here for awhile.

She looked down on the my neck and saw a chain around my neck and the rest of the part was covered by my polo.

She pulled it out revealing a silver and red crucifix.

She looked at me in the eye, "Take good care of it, Tristan. Meet me after school at the back of the school." She said and left.

I watched her leaving, and for a moment, I thought, how did she know me?
