Caleb's POV

I wake up first, like normal, and look at the women lying on either side of me. Memories of last night flood my brain as I try to remember why I'm in a bed with the two most beautiful women on earth. After a trip down memory lane, I carefully sit up, moving slowly and silently so I don't wake them. I sneakily get the covers off of me and slide to the end of the bed.

After I say my morning prayer, I get up out of bed, get changed into my workout clothes, put on my mask, grab a water bottle, and leave the bedroom. Normally, I'd go down and get them some coffee and workout in the hotel's gym, but after what happened last night, I have this feeling that I shouldn't leave Gionna alone. Okay, she wouldn't exactly be alone as Lexi is with her, but they're both asleep. It's difficult to defend yourself when you've just woken up. Believe me. I have...ummm...let's call it prior knowledge.

Anyway, I go to the living room and do my regular morning exercise routine. I'm slower today than I normally am. Guess I should've expected that after the war I went through last night. Just as I'm about to finish, I hear someone whisper something.

Gio: Damn.

I look over to find her and Lexi standing next to each other, both looking at me. They both have a cup of coffee in their hands. Gionna is biting her lip while Lexi is smiling while taking a sip from her mug. I had made them coffee before I started my workout and left the mugs on the counter in the kitchen area.

Me: Mornin', ladies. I see you found the coffee I left for you.

They both nod. Clearly the coffee has started working on Gio more than Lex, because Lex only groans in response.

Lex: How are you awake enough to workout right now? You don't even drink coffee.

Me: Old habits die hard. Plus, I tried coffee once. Wasn't very good at it. Anyway, how'd y'all sleep?

As I speak to them I walk over to the wall and use it to do a handstand. I do a few handstand push-ups, about thirty of them, before I stand back up.

Gio: Like a baby.

Me: I never understood that saying. Babies aren't peaceful sleepers.

Lex: How would you know? You don't have any kids.

Me: I'm the eldest brother. I remember what my brother and sister were like as babies.

Lex: Dammit, I forgot about that.

Me: It must be earlier in the mornin' than I thought.

Lex groans and rolls her eyes in response. Her eyes fall down to her mug and she drinks from it again. Meanwhile, Gio makes her way over to the couch and sits down with her legs crossed.

Gio: So what's the plan for tonight?

Me: You are cutting a promo about why you attacked Dori and Sarah, I'm continuing the quest for the attention of my only rival to the Throne of Darkness, and Lex is going to do a Firefly Fun House segment. That's what I know so far, but it could change when we get there.

Gio: Are you wrestling tonight?

Me: As far as I know, it's a promo. It could lead to a brawl or a match.

The platinum blonde puts her mug down onto the coffee table, then stands and walks over to me. She loosely wraps her arms around my neck and smiles. I look down at her and smirk back.

Gio: I can't believe we're finally together.

Me: Me neither. Are both of you sure this is what you want?

Lex, clearly still tired: Just kiss her, Jugghead.

I smile more, roll my eyes, and hunch over a little to kiss Gio. I'm not sure how the whole "two girlfriends" thing works and I don't know who is comfortable with what yet. Otherwise, I would've kissed Gio without a second thought.

After a gentle, loving kiss, we part. I look over to Little Miss Bliss and see her quickly look away from me. She has a small smile on her face, but tries to cover it with her mug.

Me: Come 'ere, Blissy.

I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her, hugging her sideways, as she keeps her coffee from touching either of us. Gionna laughs at Lex's look of discomfort.

Gio: Come on, Lexi. You know you love him.

Lex looks over at me and smiles. In her eyes, I can see that what Gio said jokingly is true. I take that as my cue and lean down, giving her a quick, loving kiss as well. I pull back, let go of her, and head toward the bedroom. I can feel Lexi and Gionna's confusion.

Lex: Where are you going?

Me: To get changed...and to get the taste of coffee outta my mouth. Seriously, how do y'all drink that?

Gio: Y'know most of the planet does, right?

Me: Yeah, I know. I'm a rare breed.

Timeskip

At the arena

3rd Person POV

The trio are hanging out in their locker room when there's a knock at the door. Gionna rolls her eyes as she stands up to check who is at the door. All day, people have been coming to see Gionna and check on her to make sure she's okay after last night's fiasco. This is the eighth time she's had to get up in half-an-hour.

When she opens the door, she sees Becky, Logan, Demi, Michael, and Mercedes and John. The last two are a shock to her due to them normally being on SmackDown. Becky and Mercedes quickly rush over to her and hug her.

Becky: Are you okay, lass?

Mercedes: We heard what happened last night. Is everything okay? Is that a bruise on your neck?

Becky: He hurt you? I swear I'll hunt him down, and when I do-

Gionna: I'm fine, guys, really. I had a protector.

The two women let go of Gionna. It's right then that Gionna notices that Demi didn't swarm her like the other two.

Gionna: What're you doing over there, Demi? Didn't want to swarm me like everyone else?

Demi: If I had, you wouldn't've been able to breathe.

Michael: Where's the big guy?

Caleb leans forward from his seat behind a set of lockers and looks over at them. The three guys make their way over there with Demi in tow.

Demi: It's great that you're okay, Gionna, but we need to check on him.

Gionna: He's been fine so far, but I think something might be off.

John: We'll check out.

Gionna, to Mercedes: What's wrong with John? I've never seen him so serious.

Mercedes: I know. Scary right? Anyway, he's been friends with Caleb since they were kids and he's worried last night could've triggered his PTSD.

Gionna: Lexi's been wondering that too. In other news, I found out who Maddox is.

Mercedes: Really? Who?

Gionna, confused: John didn't tell you?

Mercedes: No. I asked if I'd get to meet Maddox, but he said Maddox is somewhere else right now.

Becky: You seriously don't know?

Mercedes: Should I know?...Wait, do all of you know who Maddox is?

Gionna: Yep. Maddox revealed himself to me.

Becky: Logan was too excited to keep it a secret.

Lexi, joining the conversation: And I went through Maddox's phone...and got speared into my pool just to find out who he is.

Mercedes: Do you think he'll tell me who he is?

Lexi: It's doubtful, but you could give it a shot.

Gionna: Hey, babe!

From across the room, Caleb lifts his head and looks toward Gionna. The people surrounding him back off a little so he can look over at the platinum blonde.

Gionna: Do you think it's possible for Maddox to reveal himself to Mercedes? It'd really mean a lot to me if he could do that.

Caleb sees Gionna giving him puppy dog eyes and slightly pouting her lips. He shakes his head while smiling before he looks over at John and asks him a question.

Caleb: You didn't tell her?

John: I thought you wanted to keep it a secret.

Caleb: Fair enough. How hard has it been to keep the secret?

John: I hate lying to her.

Caleb: Got it.

The man formerly known as the Southern Juggernaut leans back, grabs something out of his back, then stands up. He walks over to the group of women with a smirk.

Mercedes: Do you know Maddox or something?

Caleb: Well of course I know him...he's me.

During his pause, Caleb puts his mask and voice disguiser on. Mercedes looks up to see the larger man's eyes are almost all white. Once again, Caleb Winters has ceased to exist and is now replaced by the Dark Disciple Maddox.

Maddox: Hello there, Mercedes. You'll have to forgive your boyfriend for not telling you who I really am. Some of the Krew knows my secret and are burdened by it. Now you are one of the few. You must understand that in order for this gimmick to succeed, I must keep my identity hidden for now. As one of the best in this industry, I trust you will keep my secret from others, including Pamela. Can I trust you?

Mercedes nods. Everything about Maddox combines to form one terrifying, overwhelming entity. An entity strong enough to make even the greatest talkers in the business like the Boss lose the ability to form a verbal response.

Maddox: Good.

The Dark Disciple takes a couple steps back, takes the mask and voice disguiser off, and walks back to his group. Meanwhile, Mercedes looks over in shock at Gionna.

Gionna: I know. Freaky right?

Mercedes: How does he transform like that?

Becky: We each have our own theories. The leading theory is that it's because he's grown up with the greatest fear-inducing wrestlers for uncles. Lexi thinks it's a little more personal than just that.

Mercedes: Like who?

Gionna: From what Lexi's told me, Sting is his uncle by blood, but the Undertaker is his "wrestling dad".

Mercedes: I knew he hung out with Jason when they were kids, but I didn't know Sting is his uncle.

With Caleb

John: Did Gionna call you "babe"?

Caleb: Yeah.

Logan: Aren't you with Lexi?

Caleb: Yeah.

Demi: Do they know?

Caleb: They're the ones who told me.

John: Wait, what? Rewind. Tell us what happened.

Caleb: Last night, I almost killed Enzo for the second time because he had Gio against a wall and tried to slap her. Then, I carried her up to her room. Once we were in her room, she pulled up my mask and kissed me, so I revealed that I am Maddox. I told her and Lex to figure out a solution to our little love triangle that's lasted for too long while I went to take a shower. When I came back, they told me that they decided to share me. So there, you're all caught up.

John:...Alright. Thanks for clarifying.

Caleb: No problem.

John: Mind if Mercedes and I stay back here and watch the show?

Caleb: I'm fine with it, but you gotta clear that up with the furious one and the rebellious one.

John: Will do.

There's another knock at the door. Becky opens the door to find Hunter on the other side. He pokes his head into the room and looks around for Caleb. Once he sees him, he gestures for the Dark Disciple to follow him.

Hunter: Caleb, Vince wants to see you. It's about what's happening tonight.

The larger man stands up. He puts the mask back on and follows Hunter out of the locker room and to Vince's office.

Timeskip

Monday Night RAW

The show is officially underway as the pyro goes off and the announcers welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW. Backstage, Gionna and Caleb are sitting in the locker room with their friends. Caleb is sitting on the couch next to John while Gionna sits on the his lap.

John: I've seen your stuff on TV, but seeing you with the mask on in person is terrifying.

Caleb: Thanks. I do what I can.

The two couples watch as the show progresses. Currently, Edge is competing against the Miz. Despite being close friends with the Miz, Caleb can't help but to root for his Uncle Edge.

Timeskip

John: How did you know Rhea was going to show up and prevent Maryse from cheating?

Caleb, with a smirk: The King of Destruction told me.

John: Michael!

Michael turns around. His small smirk confirms that what the future Emperor of Darkness said is true.

Caleb: You should be more careful when you bet against me.

Gionna: Guys, shhhh. Lexi's segment's on.

Just as she says that, Demi opens the door and walks in. They can tell she ran to the locker room from the gorilla as she's out of breath more than she normally is after a match. Once she walks in, she makes her way next to Michael and cuddles up next to him a little.

Demi: Hey, what did I miss?

Mercedes: Nothing yet. It's just starting.

Demi: Great.

The camera shows Bray and Alexa waving. They both have huge smiles on their faces.

Bray: Hello and welcome to the Firefly Fun House! Today, we're going to learn about curiosity! You see, boys and girls, being curious is natural.

The tone shifts from a happy one to a serious one.

Bray: But sometimes...it can get you hurt.

Alexa: Ask Ruby and Sarah.

The tone shifts back to a light-hearted one.

Bray: That's right, Alexa. They were so curious that they became angry! They became so angry, they ignored their own friend.

Alexa: And they attacked me! Why would anyone want to hurt little ol' me?

Bray: Because when some people get curious, they get scared. They can't help themselves. That's why they attacked you. But thankfully you had help from our new friend, Liv Morgan!

Alexa: He took her in when she needed help, and she let him in. She let us in. Now it's your turn.

The tone shifts back to a serious one.

Bray/Alexa: Let him in!

Timeskip

Lexi walks back into the locker room to see Gionna dressed in her ring gear, ready for her segment. Gionna hugs Lexi and tells her that she did good. The former Goddess returns the embrace and wishes the Problem Child good luck. The platinum blonde leaves the room, while Lexi looks around the locker room for a certain giant.

Lexi: Where's Caleb?

John: You just missed him. He told me to tell you that he thought you did great, but he had to run right quick.

Lexi shrugs before moving to take a seat. Logan goes to offer her a spot next to him, but Becky smacks his hand and shoots him a dirty look. The Brit silently apologizes, making everyone in the room laugh a little as they prepare for Gionna's segment and wonder where Caleb went.

In the ring

The crowd erupts in a mixture of cheers and boos as a theme blares throughout the arena.

Liv calmly walks down to the ring. Instead of being her normal, cheerful self, she doesn't show much emotion. Once she gets in the ring, she grabs a mic and holds it to her mouth.

Liv: The only thing I've heard for the last twenty-four hours is "why?". "Why did you do it, Liv?"-

Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott walk out onto the stage with a mic of their own.

Ruby: Why indeed, Liv? Why did you attack us? We were getting payback for you. They kidnap-!

Liv: He didn't kidnap me! It was my choice! He didn't abduct me, he didn't brainwash me, he didn't hurt me in any way! Maddox saved me. I tried to tell you that, but you wouldn't listen to me. You ignored me...just like everyone else.

By now, Ruby and Sarah are in the ring. The walk closer to Liv and look down at the mat.

Ruby: We are so sorry, Liv.

The trio all embrace in the ring. The crowd is happy to see things play out nicely. However, everyone in the arena, as well as those watching at home, can't help but feel the tension in the ring. The hug lasts for a few moments. Ruby speaks during the hug.

Ruby: But you still attacked us.

The hug breaks and Liv backs up, looking at Sarah and Ruby in fear. She steps back, then starts to laugh.

Liv: Funny. He told me you'd say that.

A familiar gong rings throughout the arena as the lights go out. When they come back on, Ruby and Sarah become outnumbered. Maddox is now in between Liv and her former teammates. Maddox holds his arms out to his sides and raises them until they're above his head. Then, he slams his hands down, causing fire to erupt from the turnbuckles.

Ruby and Sarah jump at the sudden explosion and roll out of the ring. They look up at the ring as they walk up the ramp backward. In the ring, Liv jumps up onto Maddox's back, hugging him from behind. From her piggyback position, Liv smiles and does a small wave to her former teammates. Then, without thinking, Liv plants a small kiss on the side of her protector's mask.

Liv hops down off of Maddox's back and makes her way in front of him. Maddox stares down at her as she smiles up at him as Monday Night RAW goes to commercial.

Backstage

Lexi: You could've told me!

The Five Feet of Fury yells at Caleb as he and Gionna walk back into the locker room. The man formerly known as the Southern Juggernaut notices that her yell is more of a joking one and decides to play along.

Caleb: Not true, you were busy.

Lexi: You could've texted me.

Caleb: Again, you were busy. Also, you gave me your phone before you left.

Lexi: So you had John lie for you?

Caleb: Okay, three things: first of all, I hate lying and I do my best to avoid it at all times; secondly, I didn't make John lie, I asked him to tell you that I had to run, which I did because my position was on the other side of the arena; and lastly, John isn't very good at lying...unless it's to Mercedes.

Mercedes looks over at John skeptically while everyone else laughs. Except John, who looks over at Caleb in shock.

John: What the hell, man!?

Mercedes, crossing her arms: You've lied to me?

John: Before I answer that, I have a question of my own. Has Logan told Caleb or Becky how he feels about Lexi?

Logan: Why the fuck am I being brought into this!?

John: If I'm going down, I'm takin' everyone with me.

Logan looks over at Caleb and sees him staring deep into his soul. Becky laughs as Logan gulps nervously. Of course she already knows how Logan feels. He told her that he had a "small" crush on Lexi early in their relationship.

Lexi: I wanna know how the Alpha feels about me. Don't you, babe?

Caleb: I sure do, darlin'.

Logan: Uhhh...Oh, I know. I feel that she is a remarkable woman and is a great in-ring competitor.

Caleb, smirking: Is that all?

Logan: Yep. One hundred percent.

Becky, laughing: No it's not. You were going on-and-on last night about beautiful you think she is-.

Logan: Are you trying to get me killed!? I feel like I shouldn't be the only one being attacked tonight. What about Michael?

Michael and Demi look over at him. Caleb smiles, seeing an opportunity to further mess with his friend. His smiles grows larger as he sees Michael smirk a little.

Michael: What about Michael?

Caleb: Yeah, Logan. What...about...Michael?

The young Brit looks over at Michael as Caleb walks over to the King of Destruction and puts a hand on his shoulder. Caleb whispers a small apology, knowing that Michael values his personal space and isn't too comfortable with sudden contact. Michael does a small nod in response, not breaking his stare towards Logan as he waits for the Alpha to continue.

Logan:...I have nothing. Honestly, you both terrify me.

Caleb, chuckling: Good. Don't forget it. In all seriousness, John doesn't lie to you that often, Mercedes. Usually, it's just to hide a present from you or if he wants to surprise you. Logan, it's okay that you find one, if not both, of my girlfriends attractive. As long as nothing comes of it.

Logan: I swear I would never do anything like that to you.

Caleb: I know. That's why I don't care. I've known about your crush on Lexi for years now.

Logan: How?

Caleb: You talked about her a lot. Not as much as you talked about the Man over there, but it was quite a bit. Don't worry though. I love talking about the two girls that are infatuated with me...for some reason. Why do y'all like me?

Lexi: You know why we love you.

Gionna: Yeah, because you're tall and strong, so you can hold us up. When you hold us, we can see everything.

Michael: At last, an explanation.

Caleb, smirking: Holy shit, he speaks.

In the ring

The arena goes dark as an increasingly popular theme echoes throughout the arena. Maddox marches down to the ring in a more Kane-like manner, rather than his regular Undertaker-paced march. The Dark Disciple doesn't climb the steps like normal; however, he grabs the ropes and pulls himself up onto the apron before stepping over the top rope. He raises his arms like the aforementioned Deadman before slamming them down like the Devil's Favorite Demon, causing fire to shoot out of the corners and the lights to return to normal.

After the pyro goes off, Maddox walks over to a corner and grabs a mic from one of the ring techs. He silently thanks him, causing the ring tech to question what just happened as only a few of the higher ups and some of the BSK know that Maddox is really Caleb Winters. Maddox walks back to the center of the ring and holds the mic up to his masked mouth.

Maddox: Do I have your attention, brother? How many must fall before one of us claims the Throne of Darkness? Many men have paid dearly already. Kings have been dethroned. A chief has been buried. A bloodline has been ended. How many more must suffer before you answer me, dear brother?

The crowd erupts as the bearded Beast walks out on stage. He does his normal entrance and stands in the ring across from Maddox with a mic of his own.

Brock: I know how you should get your brother's attention...you should face me...tonight.

Lesnar doesn't get to finish his proposition as another theme hits.

The crowd sings as Monday Night Rollins makes his way down the ramp.

Seth: Woah woah woah! If anyone is going to fight the Dark Disciple, it's Seth Freakin Rollins!

Rollins enters his ring before speaking again.

Seth: You took my title opportunity away from me. I had Finn Bálor beaten when you showed up. You gave MY title shot to that demon.

Bálor storms out onto the stage and talks as he walks and enters the ring.

Finn: Seth, if I were you, I'd shut my damn mouth. I would've beaten you anyway. You didn't have me beaten. As for you (he looks at Maddox) I definitely didn't need any help from you.

The Spawn of Cerberus' music interrupts Bálor as he enters the arena through the crowd. When he gets into the ring, he speaks into his mic.

Ronin: Last night, you buried my brother. Now it's your turn to be buried.

The men in the ring have an intense stare down. Tensions rise as all of the competitors look at Maddox, waiting for him to make a move. Before anything else can be said, Sonya Deville steps out onto the stage.

Sonya: Excuse me, gentlemen, I have proposition. Since you four want a piece of Maddox and, frankly, I'd love nothing more than to watch him get torn apart, how about we have a tag match? Oh wait, Maddox, you don't have anyone to help you. The Fiend has been out of action for weeks, Logan and the Destroyer are still recovering from their match last night. You are alone.

Before anyone can move a muscle, an unexpected theme sounds.

The fans go wild as the trumpets fill the arena. Their cheers get louder when they see the son of the Cenation's founder walks out. The titantron reads "John Cena III" as the man bearing the name comes out onto the stage.

Cena runs down to the ring and slides in. Once in the ring, he throws his hands up, doing the same thing his dad used to do. Although, if you ask John, he'll tell you he's doing it better. John stands by Maddox and raises a mic to his mouth.

John: Well, it looks like you've made a few enemies. Don't worry, I'm not out here to join the "we wanna kick Maddox's ass" club. I'm here because I've been itching for a fight and I just couldn't wait until Friday.

Sonya: I stand corrected. However, you are still down two men.

Maddox: Cena being here only tips the scales in my favor. When it was four-on-one, you had a fair fight. Now...now you might as well dig your own graves and buy your caskets. You have been weighed...you have been measured...and now you will be buried. As surely as the sun rises, your souls will be mine.

John: Someone get a ref down here so we can start kickin' ass.

The brightly colored Cena walks to his corner with the walking shadow Maddox in tow. After a short discussion, they decide that John will start the match.

In the opposing corner, the other team argues about who is going to start off. They finally reach the decision that Seth will start. John crouches down, ready to start the match. Meanwhile, Seth Freakin' Rollins plays director, directing the crowd with his hands as they sing his theme.

The ref rings the bell and the match is officially underway. John and Seth lock up with the former quickly taking control of the match by putting the latter in a headlock. Seth manages to back John up towards the ropes and push him forward. John releases the headlock, hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, and hits Rollins with a shoulder tackle, knocking the Visionary on his ass. Rollins looks up at John, who is smiling ear-to-ear as the show cuts to commercial.

Timeskip

The show comes back and shows John stuck in his opponents' corner, being hit with rapid stomps to the gut courtesy of Finn Bálor. The Demon King sets Cena up for the Shotgun Dropkick, but fails to connect as John runs forward, leaps into the air, and hits him with a shoulder tackle. John manages to mount a comeback, hitting Finn with another shoulder tackle and the Proto Bomb.

After hitting Bálor with the Proto Bomb, John looks to set up for the match to end early with a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Bálor rolls away before Cena can connect and manages to tag in the Beast. The crowd comes to life once more as Brock Lesnar steps into the ring. Brock jumps around like normal, then starts talking to Cena.

Brock: I don't want you! (He points to Maddox) I want him!

John, pointing at Maddox: Him!? You want him!?

Brock, nodding and laughing: Oh yeah!

John, to the crowd: Is that what y'all want!?

The crowd responds by cheering louder, eager to see if Undertaker's Greatest Disciple could do what his master struggled to do: defeat the Beast.

John: If that's what you really want...!

Cena tags Maddox in and the Dark Disciple steps over the top rope.

John: Then here! He's all yours!

Cena climbs out of the ring as Maddox and Brock stare each other down. The two stand toe-to-toe with each other. Despite Maddox's overwhelming height and size, Brock continues to make eye contact and shows no sign of backing down. Maddox is completely aware of the Beast's reputation, but he isn't going to back down either. He has a reputation of his own to build, and what better way to build it than by beating the Beast.

Brock makes a mistake when he looks away from Maddox for a mere second, as the Dark Disciple takes this as his opening and hits him with rapid punches, working Lesnar into the corner. Maddox continues his barrage of heavy strikes before running to the other side of the ring, bouncing off the corner, and coming back to hit Brock with a corner clothesline. Maddox repeats this twice, but instead of hitting a corner clothesline on the second one, he leaps into the air and hits the Beast with a Stinger Splash.

Brock is rocked by the surprising onslaught Maddox hit him with so quickly. Lesnar wobbles out of the corner, only for Maddox to run at him and hit him with a humongous big boot, knocking the Mayor of Suplex City to the mat.

The Beast wobbles back up to his feet, but is soon hoisted off the ground by Maddox's gloved right hand.

Like he did with Omos, Maddox holds Lesnar in the air with one arm. This feat of strength shows Brock and the rest of the world that the Undertaker's Greatest Disciple isn't afraid of Lesnar at all.

After slamming Brock down with a thunderous Chokeslam, the cameras and some of the crowd hear a sinister cackling coming from Maddox as he admires his handiwork. Maddox picks Lesnar up and flips him upside down before driving his skull into the mat with a Tombstone Piledriver.

Maddox crosses Lesnar's arms across his chest and goes for the pin. Just as the ref is about to hit the mat a third time, Sonya interjects.

Sonya: Hold on, hold on, hold on! Let's make this match a little more interesting. This match is now an elimination tag match!

Maddox stands up, irritated by Sonya's interference. He peels Lesnar off of the mat, wraps both hands around his throat, and throws him to the opposing team's corner, allowing Ronin to tag himself in.

As Maddox walks back to his corner, Ronin runs at him from behind. He hits the man formerly known as the Southern Juggernaut from behind with a clothesline to the spine. Maddox hardly moves from it and stands still for a moment before flipping his hair and turning around quickly. The Dark Disciple wraps his gloved hand around Ronin's throat and throws him into his and John's corner.

After throwing several heavy right hands into the face of Ronin, Maddox tags John in. John steps into the ring and instantly goes to work on Ronin, hitting him in the gut with multiple punches and kicks.

For the first time in the match, John and Maddox are working as a team as Cena tags the Dark Disciple in and pulls Ronin out of the corner. John throws Ronin at the corner while Maddox leaps off of the top rope and drops the Spawn of Cerberus with a Diving Clothesline.

Maddox tags Cena back in. Cena waits for Ronin to stand back up, then hits him with an Attitude Adjustment.

John wastes little time and locks in the STF, staring holes through Sonya as he does. Ronin doesn't tap, but fades into unconsciousness, causing the ref to signal that he has been eliminated.

Timeskip

Two eliminations later, John and Maddox are now the possessors of the numbers advantage. However, Brock is in control of the match. He hoists a tired Cena onto his shoulders and hits him with an F5.

Brock walks over to his corner and leans against it, exhausted from the war he's had to fight single-handedly. John begins the crawl to his team's corner, but Brock catches it and stomps his way over to him. Lesnar picks Cena up, ready to hit him with another F5, but John escapes from the Mayor of Suplex City's clutches. John stands behind Lesnar, waiting for him to turn around, then hits him with an Attitude Adjustment in a last-ditch effort to get some breathing room.

John restarts his crawl to Maddox. Maddox holds his hand out, trying to aid John as much as he can. Cena makes the hot tag. Maddox climbs over the ropes and hits Brock with another Stinger Splash, then quickly follows up with a Scorpion Death Drop.

Maddox knows that the time to end the match has come, so he peels Lesnar's carcass off the mat and hoists him up once more. The Heir to Undertaker's Yard drops Lesnar on his skull with another Tombstone, crosses Lesnar's arms across his chest, and pins the Beast to three.

Backstage

Cena and Maddox enter the locker room to see it filled with surprised looks on their work family's faces.

Mercedes: You were wresting tonight and you didn't tell me?

Logan: Or any of us?

Michael: Brock was okay with you holding him over your head with one hand?

John: Okay, I can answer three of these. Yes, I was wrestling tonight. No, I didn't tell you. And no, I didn't tell any of you either. Your turn.

Caleb: I would hope he's okay with it. It was his idea. Now, I'm starving and I'm tired. Let's get out of here. I'll see all y'all on Friday. Except Gio and Lex. I'll see them before then.
