1) Spiders

This isn't really a rant, I know, but I fucking hate those eight legged freaks. I've been terrified of them since I was a kid and I don't even know why, but I'm not looking for reasons. I know I hate 'em and that's enough to keep me the hell away from them.

2) Jealous People

We all get jealous. I know. Even I do, so it may be a little hypocritical to say I hate jealous people, but it's not the ordinary jealous people I hate, that keep their thoughts to themselves. It's the kind of people that will do whatever they can to make sure they have no reason to be jealous again. It happens with graphics it happens with writing, it happens with so many things. Even online for pete's sake. Someone's jealous of the competition in cover making so they'll find new ways to start up a fight. It's just so fucking annoying. I think I'll have a whole section devoted to lousy competition -- lousy not because they aren't good, but because they'd rather pick fights for no reason than be a team player.

3) Stalkers

Oh don't even get me started. Just obsessive people who I know are probably reading this -- yep, I know more than one, if you're reading this -- and I just wanna say that if you're going through so much trouble trying to prove me wrong at something, you have a serious issue. I kinda feel sorry for you. But screw you if you think I'm going to sit around and actually deal with your bullshit. I've heard what you had to say, and quite frankly, it's so ridiculous that I refuse to listen anymore. Go find someone else to harass. Yep, I'm gonna have a whole chapter devoted to you creeps.

4) Attitude problems

You know the kind of people that think they're better than you? Or smarter than you? Well, honestly, who can prove that? It's your word against mine, so nobody's really right. You're just making a bigger fool of yourself by parading around what you think you know about yourself, which says more about you than you actually do. Ego problem much?

5) Copyrighting

I do it for my stories, because yes, they are my stories. But when people do it for their design work it's just hypocritical. If you actually did the work and everything is your own, that's fine, but I've seen it on covers that have famous people as their models and the usage of stock images that are not free to use and saying it's copyrighted is just sad, and I'm pretty sure illegal, but what do I know. I don't see it much anymore but there was a time when I did see if, and I just felt like ranting about it.

6) Ideas

Let me get one things straight. Copying an idea and making it look almost the same and claiming credit for it, is a sort of plagiarism. However, being inspired by an idea to do something of your own, is not plagiarism or copying. Let's look at this example shall we? Apple users know who Siri is, yes? The voice in your Apple products that can do what you ask her to? Okay. Now, Windows users. If you have upgraded to Windows 10 on your systems, you'll know Cortana, something similar to Siri, exists. You can ask her to do anything as well. Is this a similar idea? Yes. But is it copying? No. Because copy means to do something exactly the same. This is why there are no disputes over crediting one and other on who started the idea first. No. It's just a similar idea. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch about. It is not copying.

7) Bragging

Yeah, I know everyone does it at some point, and likes to do it sometimes too, but that doesn't make it less annoying.

Well this turned out longer than I expected. Guess I was in a really bad mood.
