One, out a few things I hate as a graphic maker, is when people ask me for a cover and then go ahead and ask someone else for the same thing. Like it's fine if you ask them and not me, or the other way around, but just asking both of us is a waste of our time because we work so hard on making these covers for you. 

Hell yeah it's displeasing. And another thing is when people come to request from you, and hardly give any input as to what they want the cover to look like. They'll give a shitty summary, and no ideas whatsoever except for 'you're the designer, I trust your judgement'.

Thanks for trusting my judgement, but I can't have any unless you freaking give me something to work with. 

Of course, it doesn't stop there. 

Once I show them what I somehow managed to come up with, they aren't satisfied. 

'Could you change the colour of that? And maybe the font? And maybe add a person there?'

Like, Why the fuck couldn't you tell me that in the beginning? It would have saved the both of us a lot of time. 

I could go on about this because there are tons more things to rant about as far as cover making goes, but I'll save some of it for later.
