Time To Work!
Kayla finally reached the top of the light house. After 48 minutes, her legs turned to jelly. "Ugh, what's better? Going down or up?" She wondered.
She turned on the huge beaming light that lit up the whole light house. She then had to go out onto the balcony and search for the on-coming boats. If their was fog, Kayla had to turn on the fog siren, that led the boat to the harbour, which was also a beach.
She grabbed her phone, and took a selfie on the balcony. It was a clear and starry night. No fog at all. But then she dropped her phone. Over 100 feet tall!! "NO! NO! MY PHONE!" She shouted, peering down to try and see a glimpse of it.
She didn't see it. So she ran downstairs - not knowing she had 50% of her job left to do - still running and running. And she finally reached the last step. Kayla ran out the wooden door, and searched the beach.
"Kayla, get back inside, your job hasn't been completed!" Shouted Kayla's father. Who looked very ill at the time.
"DAD I DROPPED MY PHONE! AND IM TIRED! AND WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE CASPAR THE GHOST?"
"Your Phone? Ugh, Kayla we gave you that and you promised to take care of it. Ill find it. And is that an insult? If it is, your going STRAIGHT back upstairs. Finish your job. And go to bed, and if I find your phone, you will have it next week as this attitude is appalling."
Kayla took once last look and shoved her dad out the way. She then crawled back upstairs, and carried on her job.
Two hours later..
"Done, I'm done!!" She sighed wiping the sweat off her head.
"Great, stairs here I come again..."
