On the Saturday evening before the first day of school I was going to a BBQ organized by Max. I was a little nervous because I hadn't really talked to him for the whole holidays and he had already told me to talk to him. I spent almost the whole day worrying about how it was gonna turn out. I stressed so much that I was going to make things worse. Then I told myself "Stop being stupid Eliza, he doesn't like you anymore so WHO CARES". That let a lot of my panicking stop so I could enjoy the rest of the day.

We unfortunately got there late. This was because mum had to get ready after she came home from work and as she was a MASSIVE storm blew up. It was pouring, really dark, huge booms of thunder and cracks of lightning. While we were driving some of the traffic lights were blacked out and it was crazy. I felt a little scared that we would crash because of the weather, but we didn't! While we were in the car we kept joking that we were going for a picnic and the weather was terrible.

Finally we got there!

When we pulled up I saw Max, T and Lily {oh and Lilys sister Emilee} run from the beach. Well actually 'beach' it was like a beach near boating docks so the sand was all muddy and there were no waves. Disappointing. I got out of the car and hurried over. The stupid thing was everyone wanted to go swimming but I didn't bring swimmers! Argh stupid me. Luckily I brought a change of clothes so I could go swimming. I sorta splashed around the edge till I eventually was forced in because they were throwing sand at me. When Ariana and Tara turned up I took refuge next who Tara who threatened people if they got so much of a droplet on her. The thing was I kept stepping on something sharp and it was really painful. Eventually Max stepped on it to and he bent to pick it up. "Seriously, A starfish!" It was a very sharp starfish if I do say so myself.

After swimming we decided to play some beach cricket. Guess what, I failed. No big surprise there.

Then we went swimming again. Me, T, Max, Lily, Sara, Ariana, Ellie and Tara {ish, ah not really}. It was actually really fun.

After dinner a few of us went back to the water. I was just going to go and sit on the edge but Max literally dragged me in. Literally.

When we exited the H2O {im smart!} we sat around talking. I started to get really cold so I went to get out of my wet clothes. When I got back everyone was still sitting at the picnic table talking, go figure. After quite a few 'heated discussions' Tara and I decided to go for a walk along the sand.

Eventually everyone was down on the sand and Max announced that we would be playing Tip. Inwardly I groaned, I was so not in a tip mood. Instead of playing Lily and I walked and sung. Such a great combo. I think it started to annoy Max but he cant make us do anything we don't want to.

I know your probably fuming that this chapter is soooooo short. And for that Im very sorry.

This chapter is just a filler for the time between the holidays and the start of school. I promise when Eliza goes back to school my updates will be longer.
