Wednesday the 13th of January might just be one of my favorite days of January.

I mean saying the day started off alone makes it sound bad. I actually don't really mind staying home alone, apart from freaking out every time a car drives past. But when I'm home alone I get to watch the big bang. Such a good show! I also get to eat, crackers mostly. I can play with my hair styles and try different outfit combinations. I was 'trying' to braid my hair, watch the big bang and text T at the same time. MultiTasking much! I abandoned the braid when T said I could come over and would be picking me up soon. I freaked out cause it was like 20am and I was still in pajamas. Rushing to my bedroom I threw open my cupboard doors. I have nothing to wear. After taking almost all my clothes out, I settled for my black bossy shirt from Jay Jays and a pair of denim shorts with lace. Grabbing my bright yellow sandals and putting in some yellow peace sign earrings I grabbed my hair brush. Tying my hair in a messy high pony tail, I finished off my look with a bright pink ribbon. Smiling at myself in the mirror, I turned the TV back on. A few minutes later T came, I grabbed my saxophone and rushed out the door.

Sitting in the car Nick brought up the conversation of embarrassing moments. He asked me what my most embarrassing moment was. Many situations were flying through my head. Should I say when I was walking backwards and T told me Max liked me and I slipped and feel massively on to the gravelly road. When every time we did partner dancing in year five Damien and I picked each other. Every time I say sepifically instead of specifically. And way, WAY more. So I just said 'when my year six teacher was dancing to one of his boring old songs and fell over a table when my friends from the other class were there'

When we got to T's house we started to play our saxs. Well T did, I dont know how to, yet! Oh but now I know how to play hot cross buns!!

After a while we stopped, I think T probably had enough of my terrible playing. We decided to skype Luke and play mario cart 8 online. We played for quite a while and let me just say I'm pretty good, especially when it comes to corners.

Eventually Luke ended up coming over cause Nick lured him with a secret. Luke was intrigued, which made it all the more funny cause he already knew it.

He came over ready to beat the secret out of Noah. But we were prepared. With a nerf gun, nothing can go wrong.

The secret forgotten we stood around chatting. Mostly about heights, and my lack of. Its not my fault im vertically challenged!

While we were eating lunch, two minute noodles, we decided to make a movie. Since Nick is like a Mario obsesser, we decided to do a mario video. Tiana being Tario, Luke being Lowser, Nick being Noshi/director and me being Eeach.

We got into our make shift costumes which consisted of a Darth Vader mask for Luke, a wig and hat for T and a sarrong, feather scaf and sun glasses for me. Then we headed to the 'set'. Aka Outside.

The first scene I had to skip up to T and talk about fashion and stuff.

Eeach: hey Tario
Nick: Cut, she sounds like she is saying mario

Eeach: Hey Tario
Tario: sup Eeach
Eeach: what are you doing?
Tario: just watching out for Lowser
Eeach: that big old fatty is so outta style
Nick: CUT, big old fatty? Really?

Take 3.
Eeach skips toward Tario
Bangs head into hanging flower pot
Eeach: Hey Tario
Tario:Sup Eeach
Eeach: owwww

After so many takes Nick was finally happy. Finally. The rest of the episoded consisted of Lowser/Darth Vader using the force to bring Eeach to his castle/cubby house. Tario comes to save Eeach and there is a fight scene. Eeach is resuced, Lowser is on the ground and the end.

Watching it was hilarious. Especially the one when I ran into the flower pot. I looked so uncoordinated. After watching it through a few times my grandparents came and picked me up.

When I got home I had to decide on what dress to wear for the musical. I had five to pick out of, trust me its difficult. I eventually went with my floral dress with black trim and black sandals.

After a rushed dinner of meat pie I had to do my hair. Now here is where I struggled. Brushing and combing, mmming and ahhing. After like twenty five different hair styles I ended up with a neat bun with pretty jeweled bobby pins. Quickly hair spraying it o grabbed my bag and rushed out to the car.

Sitting in the car with music blasting into my ears and looking at the view of the city was the trip, boring right? Anyway as we neared the venue Nana wondered which way we would go. She said the only way was down George street and it was closed off.

"In one hundred meters turn left onto George street"

After hearing the nav man say that I burst out laughing. I laughed so much tears came out my eyes.

"Yeah Nana, totally blocked off"

We parked the car in an underground car park and walked the short distance to the theater. We were early so we found some seats in the fancy lobby to wait. Suddenly nana said she wanted some chocolate. Grandad and I walked to the closet convenient store and bought two dairy milk bars. One for me and one for them.

We quickly hurried back to the theater so we could find our seats. Luckily we had the three seats closed to the aisle and we were the first row of the second block.

The lights dimmed and the musical started. The hills are alive with the sound of music, Maria sung and I felt myself being washed into the performance. I saw Leisel and Rolf dance to 16 going on 17, Maria teach the children how to sing doe a deer and all the rest. It was utterly amazing.

The music, the costumes the production in whole was marvellous. It was practised to perfection.

This was the best Christmas present I got in 2015 by far.
