Randolph's P.O.V.]
DARK. DARK AS NIGHT. DARK AS A BLACK HOLE. PITCH BLACK.
Light. There is light. I can feel it...I can almost touch it...go for it...almost there--
"Randolph!"

[A/N Saryna's P.O.V.]
Oh, God. How much longer could he stay down?
He had been lying there for two hours now, and she was beginning to freak out. McDarrel had interrogated him, beat him up, and then tied her down and blindfolded her while he set a bomb somewhere in the house, to which hw had a remote contoller. He had warned her not to go to the hospital or police about it, or they'd both die.
"Oh my God, Randolph, come back to me! Randy, baby! Come on, wake up, sweetheart! Come on! Don't leave me! Wake up, I said! WAKE UP!"
She was sitting by his side, holding his blood-stained face in her hands.
"You should have told me when I asked you. Now, I have no choice but to root through every single one of your personal belongings and smash them to bits, until we find it."
"No! you can't!"
SMACK! "Randolph, I'm not playing games here. You have one last chance before I am forced to destroy everything you own." Randolph thought about it for a moment. Then, he looked straight into this McDarrel character's eyes and said,
"Alright. You win." He slumped in the henchmen's holds, looked down, and continued. "It's...it's in a plastic bag underneath the guest bedroom bed. That's where you'll find it."
Suddenly, McDarrel's phone beeped at this inappropriate time. He looked up, nodded at the henchmen, and they held on tighter, because something was about to happen. McDarrel raised his hand, and came down hard on Randolph's stomach. I lunged forwards, screaming through my gagger, but another henchman held me back against the seat. I struggled to get loose as McDarrel came down another time onto his chest. Punches were flying between him and...well, no one. He got him right in the face, and by that time I was bawling, and trying not to watch, but every time I opened my eyes, all I saw was Randy's blood-covered body.
Saryna cried at the painful flashback, and it hurt to see him like that. She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a roll of paper towels and ran it under the sink's cold water. She ran back to the living room, where Randolph was starting to moan and grumble. She rushed to his side, unrolling the paper towels that were beginning to get stuck to each other.
"Randy, Randy, stay with me. You're gonna be okay. It's all gonna be okay. See? You're fine. You're okay. I'm just gonna clean you up now, alright? Alright. let's see here..."
[A/N: Sorry if the italics threw you off. That is where Saryna has a flashback to what happened after we left off last chapter.
