Another monday meant another edition of RAW, that was the final one before Hell In A Cell. It honestly was going to be a different kind of beast for everyone, especially for someone like Y/N. He felt nervous after getting to know what the Pay-Per-View was about and the fact that he was in a Triple Threat match tonight wasn't helping his situation either. His opponents for the night were Dolph and Roman Reigns. The big man never faced Roman before, but there was a sense of excitement buried underneath the anxiety. Fortunately to relieve that even more AJ and Liv stopped by to talk with Y/N for a little while.

AJ:" There's the big man. What's up, Y/N?"

Liv:" You look like you're preparing for later."

Y/N:" Good evening to you two as well. Yeah, I'm getting ready for my match later on. Triple Threat action for me."

Liv:" Oooh right, you'll be facing Dolph and Roman. That's definitly going to be tough."

AJ:" That's not an easy feat, believe me. Both men are extremely focussed, no matter what."

Y/N:" Gee, thanks for the motivation. I swear I will beat them and make my way to the Pay-Per-View without trouble."

Liv:" I still believe in you though."

Liv gave Y/N a reassuring smile and hugged him in an attempt to calm him down and to show her appreciation for her best friend/crush while AJ just chuckled at the cute display right in front of him.

AJ:" If I didn't know any better, I would think the two of you are actually together."

Y/N:" You better start running, AJ."

AJ:" Why? I didn't do a--."

Instead of finishing his sentence, AJ bolted right off with Y/N chasing after him in a matter of seconds. Liv on the other hand crossed her arms over her chest and giggled until she was met with someone else.

Lacey:" You have some interesting friends, Liv."

Liv:" Oh hey, Lacey. Well, AJ and Y/N are off to gosh-knows-where right now. It's pretty entertaining though."

Lacey:" I see. You seem a little different since Y/N got here. What's that about?"

Liv:" What do you mean? I'm still myself, just happier."

Lacey:" Are you feeling something for Y/N?"

Liv:" You, Lacey Evans, are asking me, if I have feelings for Y/N?"

Lacey:" Yes I am and I will not leave until I have an answer, so you better choose your words carefully."

Liv laughed softly and sat down on a crate while Lacey looked at her with a teasing smirk on her face, knowing that Liv would give in sooner or later.

Meanwhile at the same time, Austin and Ruby were talking to each other in a different area, not knowing anything about the chase between AJ and Y/N.

Ruby:" I don't know about you, but I'm excited for this sunday."

Austin:" So am I. There are so many great matches on the card and I can't wait to see what everyone has in store."

Ruby:" I worry about the I Quit-match though."

Austin:" You mean Dolph vs Y/N? Yeah, that's getting me twisted right now as well. I mean the two are putting on one hell of a feud this far."

Ruby:" I know, right? Two different worlds are colliding there and it's just getting started."

Austin:" Damn right. Have you talked to Y/N though?"

Ruby:" Only one when Liv introduced me and AJ to him. He seems like a nice guy. Very strict though."

Austin:" So you saw that side of him as well. Good, I didn't wanna see you head into something unprepared."

Ruby:" It's fine, don't worry about it. What other sides do I need to know about?"

Austin then began to explain every side he knew of Y/N to prepare Ruby for the future until they were almost crashed into by AJ.

AJ:" Sorry guys, I can't stop by right now. A madman is chasing me."

Austin:" What are you t--"

Y/N:" Get over here, Styles!"

Y/N came closer while AJ scrambled out of Austin's grip and continued running. Something like that wasn't usual business, but it made for a very nice moment to break some tension. Only when Austin and Ruby got in the way did Y/N stop in his tracks.

Ruby:" Okay, now explain to us what's even going on right now. This isn't the normal procedure here."

Y/N:" My apologies, Ruby. But AJ over there is speculating too much."

AJ:" I just said it seemed to me like Y/N and Liv were together, due to the way they act around each other."

Austin:" Very bad move, AJ. You know how the big man reacts when it comes to Liv."

Ruby:" Alright alright, let's break this up now. We're all civilized people here. Y/N, you gotta learn to take a joke sometimes. AJ, you gotta be careful what you joke about."

AJ:" I can't promise anything, but I'll try."

Y/N:" Same. And since my match is up next, I'll go and take care of Roman and Dolph soon. See you guys later."

With Y/N walking off and focussing on the match ahead, Ruby, AJ and Austin continued talking to each other. Austin and AJ actually revealed Y/N's side of the story when it came to feelings and how he felt about Liv, which Ruby took as the exact thing her bubbly friend would love to hear.

A little later and Y/N, Dolph and Roman were in the ring. So close to Extreme Rules, the creative team had to give the fans something to heat them up. The I-Quit match between Y/N and Dolph was very high among fans as they wanted to see who would prevail. But tonight, the Triple Threat match kept them occupied. As soon as the bell rang, Y/N grabbed Dolph and threw him into the ropes, following up with a strong Elbow to the head.

Subtlety went right out of the window there as Y/N now faced Roman who wasn't that impressed just yet. With two powerhouses clashing, there was so much destruction to come as the two locked up, doing everything to overpower each other. It was difficult because the two were evenly matched  in power. Fans cheered either Y/N or Roman, hoping their favorite would come out on top. Roman managed to push Y/N off and was about to hit him, but Dolph was back on the apron.

Dolph:" Don't count me out!"

Neither Roman, nor Y/N were having any of that as Dolph was struck down again by a sudden Superman Punch.

Roman:" Stay out of this, you hear me?!"

What a way to start off a match. Maybe that strategy would be successful, maybe it would fail. Only time would tell as Roman turned back to Y/N, this time officially brawling around the ring with him. Jabs, hooks,  Forearm strikes, Uppercuts: everything has been brought out now and the fans loved it. Somehow this showdown was more entertaining on its own than having a third wheel interrupting things. Maybe that match was a taste of what the future held for Y/N. He was already very popular with fans around the world, so hopefully this success would allow him to thrive even further. Suddenly Dolph got involved again, aiding Roman as he tried to suplex Y/N. Unfortunately for them, it backfired immensely.

Y/N was strong for sure, but even he didn't think he could lift two people at the same time. It took a lot out of him already, eventhough the match was still relatively fresh. The tension between Y/N and Dolph still boiled heavily as all three men were getting back to their feet. Everyone watched in anticipation of the next move as it looked like Roman was about to team with Y/N, but that was just a trap as he locked him in a Full Nelson for Dolph to hit a Superkick.

An unlikely alliance had been formed for that moment, but it crumbled again when Dolph hit a Neckbreaker on Roman, followed up by a Jumping Elbow Drop. The saying 'Do not trust a snake' held its meaning there as Dolph was the last man on his feet right now. He showed off to the crowd, once again claiming that he was better than anyone else. Gimmicks were always a big part of the whole business and standing out from a sea full of talent came at a price most of the time. Not everyone was destined for greatness, but even those made more of an impact than any tryhards. Dolph got Y/N back up and tried hitting a Chop to the chest, but it left Y/N unaffected.

Y/N:" You're supposed to hurt me?! You're a stupid bloke, Dolph!"

Dolph was suddenly thrown up high, only to crash back to the canvas. The rebound got him back up, but Y/N kept himself ready when he hit a Discus Clothesline on the blonde.

Y/N had enough of Dolph getting in the way, so he threw him out of the ring and dragged him to the ring post. Bad blood was now coming in and Y/N's killer instinct made things worse for Dolph as he has soon been handcuffed to the post to sray out of the rest of the match. When he looked into Y/N's eyes though, the tanned man suddenly stood back in fear of what he saw.

Apparently something inside Y/N has been triggered as he stood in front of Dolph, pacing around as if he caught some prey. The people who saw that felt uneasy about this scene and even the ref couldn't break through to the young man. Years of military service seemed to have damaged him to a certain degree, which showed in the way Y/N behaved right now. He was only brought back to reality when Roman got to him and turned him around.

Roman:" What's going on with you, man?"

Y/N:" Leave it to me, Commander. This rat deserves punishment."

Roman:" You're not in the army anymore, Y/N! Stop this crap!"

The only logical wake up call was an Uppercut to remind Y/N that he was in a wrestling match more than anything right now. All these things he went through sat deep, so a little violence surely would break his trance as Roman threw him back in the ring. Hopefully that inner turmoil wouldn't get Y/N in trouble, but his focus was back on the fight now, completely fixated on the samoan in front of him. Y/N kneedRoman in the gut about five times, hit a Headbutt and then performed the Bulletstorm in the middle of the ring.

Y/N attempted a cover, but Roman kicked out at 2. He had quite a bit of strength left to keep the match going as Y/N rolled away and ran a hand through his hair. Two athletes like them were something special and it was great to see that they could continue. Sizing each other up, Roman and Y/N circled each other for a moment, thinking of ways to take one another out again. They were stubborn in the sense of winning and putting on a show everybody can enjoy. Dolph hasn't been freed yet, so they didn't have to worry about him very much. As Y/N took a step forward, Roman quickly attempted another Superman Punch, but Y/N dodged it and turned it into a Backslide Pin.

And that was the end of the match as Y/N got the victory. It was worth the wait and the training to be on the same level as Dolph and Roman for the night. And it also helped Y/N to gain support for the coming sunday with Extreme Rules just around the corner. Y/N kept a cold expression though as he got out of the ring and looked over at Dolph again, getting his point across that there won't be any running in the I-Quit match.

Once backstage and after being evaluated by the doctors, Y/N was free to go. He couldn't explain what happened out there with the handcuffs and all, but it worried him a lot. Then he heard footsteps coming towards him and once he looked in their general direction, he was face to face with Liv.

Liv:" Y/N, there you are. I've been looking for you."

Y/N:" Hey Liv. Is everything alright?"

Liv:" I should be asking you that. Do you wanna talk about it?"

Y/N:" That's only, if you have the time for it."

Liv:" Of course, silly. Let's get a drink and go somewhere less crowded, okay?"

Y/N:" Yeah...Yeah okay, let's do that."

And with that, Y/N and Liv walked over to the nearby vending machine to get themselves a drink. It was actually clear to see that Y/N lit up every time Liv was near. He bloomed like a flower, but nobody actually said that to the usually stonefaced man. Next was the issue of telling Liv the truth though.
