Thursday arrived much quicker than anyone expected as they moved on with their lives as best as they could while a certain someone was already really excited for the day. The person in question was none other than Liv Morgan herself who was smiling like the goof she was sometimes and this day, she had a reason for it. Instead of just being in UpUpDownDown with Austin, they will be joined by Y/N who quickly became one of her favorite people lately since he was quite caring and could be funny despite his stonefaced expression most of the time. Then again, Liv knew that she was slowly getting under his skin and discovered more about him. To say she was falling for him would've been too quick to judge at that point in time, but Liv was deeply interested in who was behind the warrior she met at first. The bubbly girl answered a call from Ruby as she fixed herself something to eat.

Liv:" Goooood morning, Rue."

Ruby:" Morning Liv, you're in a really good mood today."

Liv:" Of course I am. I get to spend the day with my favorite guy after all."

Ruby:" Are you sure you're feeling alright over there?"

Liv:" Hey, bubbly and cute me is much better than moody, bitchy me."

Ruby:" Yeah, true. I just wanted to check in. That's all."

Liv:" No probs, Rue. How's your morning going?"

Ruby:" It's fine. Nothing much. I just got myself some food."

Liv:" Ayyy, same here. Probably gonna get a bit of jogging in then it's off for UpUpDownDown."

Ruby:" Just make sure you don't tease Y/N too much. He was a blushing mess after that piggyback ride."

Liv:" Can't make any promises, Ruby. You know when I like someone, I go all out."

This was the blunt and straightforward side to Liv that admitted how she felt as Ruby tried to catch up on what was just said.

Ruby:" So you do have a crush!"

Liv:" W-What? What do you mean? I didn't say that!"

Ruby:" You just said you like someone and from all the evidence I know about, it has to be Y/N."

Liv:" Don't jump to conclusions, Ruby. Just because I randomly said it doesn't mean it's true."

Ruby:" Then tell me the truth. If you're so brave, tell me what you actually think of him."

Liv:" Sorry, Rue. Battery is low. I'll talk to you soon. Okaybye!"

With that, Liv quickly ended the call, not wanting to be confronted with the topic of feelings this early in the day, let alone when it came to Y/N like that. She might not admit it to herself, but her heart and mind already told Liv that something was growing inside her and it caused some butterflies in her stomach to churn up. To calm them down again though, Liv quickly changed and then went out for the run she mentioned.

Around 3 p.m. it was time to go live on UpUpDownDown as Austin, Liv and Y/N sat down inside the studio, ready for some nice and friendly competition.

Austin:" Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to UpUpDownDown. I am your host, Austin Creed. And today, I'm joined by two very special people. To my left is this beautiful young lady. Please welcome: Daddy!"

Liv:" Hahaha hi there! It's good to be back."

Austin:" It really is. I'm glad you could join in today. And to my right. This man is fierce, he is hard hitting and he's a dominant force. Please welcome: Y/N L/N!"

Y/N:" Hey there, everyone. I'm glad to be here."

Liv:" So are we. This is gonna be awesome."

Austin:" That's right. Y/N, every superstar gets to choose their nickname on this show. What would you like to be called?"

Y/N:" A nickname, huh? Okay, let me think...Ah I have something."

Liv:" This ought to be good."

Y/N:" Everyone in the UUDD community may now call me: Vulture."

Austin:" Oooh, Vulture. I like it. Sounds dark, yet fitting."

Liv:" I had other things in mind, but Vulture is fitting for the situation."

Austin:" Alright, let's get this show on the road. Today we're going to play a wrestling favorite of mine in...Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth."

Y/N:" Jokes on you. I know that game like the back of my hand."

Liv:" I'm not making this easy for you though, so get ready to get your ass beat."

Austin:" Oh now I'm excited to see how you two go at it. We will make it a best of five series and to make things fair, I will be the guest referee."

Liv:" May the best gamer win."

Y/N:" The loser is paying for dinner later on."

Y/N gave Liv an unexpected, playful wink before he grabbed one of the controllers and got ready for the competition of a life time while Liv blushed and softly shook her head to get rid of any distracting thoughts.

Things went really well this far with Y/N and Liv tied 2 - 2 and the final match was soon to come.

Austin:" After 4 grueling matches, Vulture and Daddy are tied. This is the final stretch to see who really is the king/queen of this game. Tensions are high as only one can win."

Liv smiled at Y/N, unknown to him that she had a dastardly plan ready in case she might be losing. Liv was quite playful throughout the afternoon anyways as she chose her wrestler who this time turned out to be Rhyno.

Liv:" I'll let the Gore Machine run wild now."

Y/N:" Interesting choice. I might go with something unexpected."

Y/N smirked as he randomized his pick and when the curser stopped, it landed on the late and great Eddie Guerrero of all people.

Austin:" There you have it, guys. Our final match for the day is Rhyno vs Eddie Guerrero in a Steel Cage match. This will really put the nerves to the test."

And within a minute, the loading screen has passed and the match could begin. It was clear from the very first move that both Liv and Y/N played to win and giving up was not an option on either side. For the fans, everything looked like two friends playing, but there was more to the whole thing than just a game. With each passing second, things fit more and more intense to the point where Liv started to give snarky and sarcastic remarks towards Y/N to let him make a mistake, but it didn't work much. The in-game clock reached 25 minutes, both hit each other with several finishers, yet their characters were still standing and as Y/N was about to end the whole thing in his favor, Liv pulled an unexpected move by quickly shifting over to Y/N and sitting down in his lap as she hit the Gore and then successfully pinned Eddie in the game.

Austin:" We have our winner: Daddy!"

Liv:" Thank you. Thank you very much to everyone who supported me."

Y/N:" I call massive bullshit on that. That was obviously cheating."

Liv:" Desperate times call for desperate measures, honey. Don't be mad. At least you got beaten by me and not someone else."

Y/N:" Next time, I won't go easy on you."

Liv:" Is that a threat?"

Y/N:" No, a prediction."

Austin chuckled as he secretly took out some menu cards from local delivery services and put them aside before he smiled at the camera.

Austin:" And that is it, everybody. I hope you had just as much fun as we did. Tune in again next week. Until then, stay safe."

With the recording and the games done for the day, the three quickly put everything away before the choice of Food was up in the air. Once again, Liv smirked because it was Y/N who would have to pay anyways and to make her own victory even sweeter, she picked the fanciest and most expensive place there was.

Liv:" A girl has to be treated right, y'know?"

Y/N:" My wallet is going to die tonight."

Austin:" Are you sure you can afford that stuff? I cou-"

Y/N:" The rule was that the loser pays for the food and since I lost, I gotta do it."

Liv:" You're adorable, Y/N. I promise I'll make this up to you somehow."

Y/N:" Yeah yeah, now get on with it. I'm starving."

Eventhough he lost, Y/N wasn't really too mad as he waited for Austin and Liv to pick their food and drinks. The day turned out much better than he expected at first and now the usual tough guy was much happier. Sure, Liv cheating to get the victory was upsetting, but also a clever strategy on her part. Not many people got him like that in the past and if anyone did, they often felt his wrath, but Y/N wasn't going to hurt Liv or talk her down because of something like this. When everyone picked what they wanted, Austin grabbed the phone and went to order their food and once he was out of view, Liv did her daily routine of jumping onto Y/N and hanging on to him.

Liv:" Hi."

Y/N:" Can I help you with anything?"

Liv:" You're warm and comfy. I need a cuddle buddy."

Y/N:" I appreciate the affection and the fact that I'm worth your time, b-"

Liv:" No buts, big guy. You're a lot to handle as a person both in and out of the ring, but you're also my best male friend and I want you to feel appreciated every day of the week. You went through so much and sacrificed blood, sweat and definitly also tears out there, serving our country for years...You should take a break now."

Liv gave him a reassuring smile as she moved to the couch with Y/N and sat down, still clinging to him like a sticky note to a wall. The warmth of her body, the scent and the feeling of her skin on his was hard to describe for the young man, because Liv was the first one to make him feel like this in a long time. Something about the bubblyness and her cute actions was just so appealing to him that Y/N didn't want to let go at all.

Liv:" You're so sweet."

Y/N:" Am I?"

Liv:" Yes, you are to me."

Y/N:" And why is that?"

Liv:" Well, look at yourself. You come from a past in the army with wounds and scars all over you. You barely talk to anyone and let out that beast in the ring. I wanna see what kind of person you really are, but I can only do that, if you let me."

Y/N:" Liv, I-"

Liv:" Don't say anything, Y/N. Just let us enjoy the moment for what it is, okay?"

Y/N nodded with a soft smile on his face as Liv leaned her head against his shoulder for comfort. Eventhough they exchanged heartfelt opinions like that before, it felt different this time. Liv felt her heart race a bit faster than before, her thoughts clouded by the man she was hanging on to. Maybe Ruby was right this morning by saying Liv had a crush on Y/N. This felt all too real right then and there, but before anything could move on Austin came back from ordering food for everyone.

Austin:" Hey guys, the fo--- am I interrupting something?"

Liv:" Hmm? O-Oh you mean this? Hehe sorry, force of habit."

Liv giggled embarrassed as she slowly climbed down from Y/N who hesitated from letting her go. On his side of the whole thing, Y/N felt like Liv was one of the very few people who actually understood him and his personality. He could be a little more relaxed and just a casual around her. Plus all the care, concern and support she showed until now really warmed his heart in many ways. Only time woukd tell what these feelings meant though.
