Another Monday Night Raw was upon the world and took place in Baltimore, Maryland. The card was once again stacked with great matches from head to toe as everyone was already preparing for their part in the show. Y/N had a solid weekend to be honest as he hung out with Liv, Ruby, Austin and AJ, just chatting, watching some silly stuff and playing lots and lots of video games together, which was some of the most fun the big man has had in recent years. All that lifted his spirits quite much for the time being, but that night was business and wherever he went, things often took a serious turn. Dolph didn't forget the ambush from the week before and tonight he and Y/N would have their first match against each other, so everyone could expect it to get a little messed up out there. Was anyone worried though? Not really. Dolph knew what he did and Y/N was sane enough to keep the rules in mind when he was joined by AJ.

AJ:" General L/N."

Y/N:" Cut it out, AJ. I told you to drop the formalities."

AJ:" I know, but it's fun to tease you with it. So what's up? You're going to beat up Dolph?"

Y/N:" That's the plan. The blonde beach boy got it coming, y'know?"

AJ:" Yeah, true. Don't break him too much though. The rivalry is going to the next Pay-Per-View."

Y/N:" Which is?"

AJ:" Extreme Rules. I don't know much about the plans, but some rivalries will end there."

Y/N:" I see. You know that when a leader has fallen, a hero will rise and inspire the lost into glorious deeds."

AJ:" Yeeeeaaah, I don't know what you're trying to say."

Y/N:" You're not the brightest in the head then, right?"

AJ:" I'm just not into military stuff like you. Anyways, I think you're up next, so give him hell. We're all rooting for you."

AJ and Y/N then fist bumped each other before Y/N went to the guerrilla backstage and warmed himself up. He was nervous, but also really excited for the match and what he could learn from someone like Dolph who had a lot of experience.

Moments later both men were in the ring, pacing around each other to see who would make the first move and it was clear from the start that this wouldn't be a pretty match. Dolph fired the first shot by immediatly slapping Y/N in the face and talking trash to him.

Dolph:" You're nothing, but a phoney! You're a pathetic loser and nobody, absolutely nobody likes you! You should've retired after your last battle!"

Did this sit well with Y/N? Not in a million years as he retaliated with an attack of his own.

Disrespect never remained unpaid in Y/N's presence and Dolph just got to feel that. So much for starting off easy. Instead, they just went at it like some crazy fools. The hate was strong between them already, fueling the fire to unexpected height when Y/N dodged Dolph's Clothesline attempt and hit him in the back of the head before taking him down.

Everyone who payed close attention could see that Y/N was thinking strategically about how he could hurt Dolph the most without ending the match too quickly. It was a case of psychological warfare and he was a master at it as he got up and stalked Dolph from a few feet away as the blonde man staggered to his feet in the corner, but that didn't help his situation at all when Y/N continued the assault.

Heavy artillery was no joke in this match, which was dominated by the former soldier who really didn't hold anything back. The ref had to pry Y/N off of Dolph for a moment to check, if he was ready to continue fighting and everyone who knew Dolph was familiar with the fact that he never quit in a match, so he was going to keep fighting. He also used the moment of uncertainty to surprise Y/N with a strong Dropkick.

Sure, it looked a bit comical that he dropped Y/N like that, but gravity and the force of the kick alone worked against Y/N right there. Then again, it didn't keep him down for very long as he soon faced Dolph again, who just came off the ropes for another move which was countered by a Lariat.

Y/N didn't waste any time either as he got Dolph up again and was the one trashtalking this time around as he growled at his opponent.

Y/N:" Am I still just a pawn, Dolph? Huh? Who is beating you right now?"

The big man snarled aggressively before he first hit a Headbutt and then a kick to the gut before a Powerbomb ended the combo.

Backstage at the same time, Liv was watching the match with Ruby and another one of their friends, R-Truth as they saw Y/N perform that exact move right in the middle of the ring. The smack that was heard and the impact itself made them cringe, but Liv also had another reaction to it all.

R-Truth:" Yo, I didn't think this Y/N guy would go in so hard."

Ruby:" Neither did I. That man seems to be a scary opponent."

Liv:" I have seen some violent stuff in my life, but this takes the cake."

Ruby:" I mean he's got the training to do things like that, but it's still quite hard to watch."

R-Truth:" Yeah, no kidding. If I ever wrestle this man, please have some painkillers ready."

Liv wasn't in the conversation anymore. Instead, she just watched what else Y/N was going to pull in the remainder of the match. Something about him was so different in a way that made her interested to learn more about the man so unfamiliar to her.

Back in the ring, the action still went strong and hard after Dolph just got a Neckbreaker on Y/N to have a clear moment to steady himself. The beatdown he received so far was really weighing in on him and a lot of his bodyparts hurt a lot, but Dolph wanted to win just as much as Y/N wanted to and once they locked eyes with each other again, things went even more dangerous as Dolph threw Y/N back down right on his neck.

Whether it was a botch or not was to be decided later, but for now it certainly did the trick as Dolph had a quite good boost right now, thinking that the last few minutes of the match would go by easier now. Oh, how wrong he was, because the pain just woke Y/N up even more as he staggered to his feet and breathed in deeply before he grabbed Dolph for a big Side Slam.

He immediatly followed things up with a Butterfly Suplex.

Sure, his moveset wasn't that flashy or impressive, but it was effective in all the right ways as Y/N and Dolph stayed down for a moment to catch their breath. Wrestling could be quite exhausting, even if the match wasn't for any titles, contracts or anything. The sheer amount of energy that went into it was outstanding from every performer who stepped into the ring like they did right now.

A moment later, they were in front of each other again, growling loudly to setup the finish of the match as Dolph attempted a first Superkick, but Y/N blocked it and threw his leg down only to actually be kicked in the head.

Dolph immediatly crawled into the pin and the ref did count, but Y/N kicked out right after 2, keeping himself and the match alive, much to Dolph's dismay as he started to argue with the referee about a slow count and that he should do a much better job the next time. Dolph was furious, but so was Y/N who did a really unexpected kip up out of a Wrist Lock Dolph had just attempted.

Y/N:" You ain't getting nowhere now, boy."

Y/N pulled Dolph closer and kneed him in the gut before he planted him down with a DDT right on the face, making Dolph yell out in pain.
The blonde man immediatly rolled out of the rings and towards the ringside doctor to get his nose checked over while Y/N just waited, his eyes as cold as death itself. An eerie silence was hanging in the arena since the fans didn't know what exactly was going to happen next when Y/N suddenly rushed out of the ring and pulled Dolph back in as quickly as he could, going right into a Dragon Sleeper.

Dolph struggled endlessly to get out of the hold and as dumb luck would have it, he managed to slip out. Y/N gritted his teeth at him, but knew exactly how to end the match as he backed up into a corner and motioned for the referee to get out of the way while Dolph struggled his way back to his feet,  turning around only to be met by a Discus Clothesline.

Locked, loaded and shots fired as the move hit the target perfectly which Y/N used to get the pin in for himself. This time, there was no question of sloppy officiating or a slow count as the bell rung after a few seconds, indicating that Y/N has won the match. Dolph wasn't easy to beat, but in the end only one of them was winning and that was Y/N as he got up and slipped out of the ring, staring back at Dolph to make sure he got the message.

Not even two minutes later and Y/N walked into the room where R-Truth, Ruby and Liv were with Liv immediatly growing a big smile on her face when she saw the big man.

Liv:" Ohmygosh Hi, Y/N!"

Y/N:" Good evening, Liv, Ruby aaaand...."

R-Truth:" R-Truth, but a lot of people also know me as Ron Killings."

Y/N:" I see. A pleasure to meet you, Sir."

R-Truth:" Likewise, Y/N. Liv has told us a lot about you."

Liv:" Only the things I know about you so far and some stuff I found online. No biggie."

Y/N:" Right. It's good to see everyone in a good mood though. Makes me feel more comfortable."

Liv:" You know what makes me more comfortable?"

The question was immediatly answered when Liv jumped on Y/N's back for the usual piggyback ride. This was a daily thing and Liv only let herself be carried around like that by Y/N like that, who didn't mind very much as Ruby laughed slightly.

Ruby:" It's like father and daughter playing around."

Liv:" You're just jealous that you're not getting carried around like that."

Ruby:" Oh yeah? Let's see."

Suddenly Ruby jumped onto Y/N and held onto his neck as the young man really had to concentrate to not drop the ladies. This,was unfamiliar turf for him right there while R-Truth quickly took a picture of the trio and posted it online with the caption 'Backstage shenanigans 😜', also tagging them all in it when Austin suddenly walked into the room, confusion hitting him.

Austin:"...Am I interrupting something?"

R-Truth:" What does it look like?"

Liv:" Shush now. We're just messing around and having some fun."

Y/N:" Liv called Ruby jealous, because Liv was the first one to hang on to me. Now I got the girls around me."

Austin:" You're living a really weird life, Y/N. Anyways, I wanted to ask, if you and Liv wanna join me for a new episode of UpUpDownDown."

Liv:" Count me in!"

Y/N:" Sure, I guess. I mean there's not a lot that could go wrong."

Austin:" Alright cool. Liv knows when and where, so just follow her."

Liv:" Alright, Austin. See you on Thursday."

Austin chuckled and said goodbye to everyone as Ruby climbed off of Y/N and straightened herself as she looked at Liv and Y/N again.

Ruby:" You two are unbelievable."

Y/N:" Tell that to the problem child herself. I'm just carrying her."

Liv:" Hey, I'm not that much of a problem."

Liv giggled and swung herself around, so she was facing Y/N as she looked into his eyes and innocently batted her eyelashes at him.

Liv:" You wouldn't blame me for anything, right boo?"

Y/N:" I-I-"

Liv:" No no, don't. You don't need to say anything. Just hold me."

If this was going to become a regular thing between them, Y/N had to learn some self control. He knew that Liv loved to fool around and that she was teasing him sooner or later, but he didn't see this coming. Whatever her actual charm was, it worked way too well and Y/N fell deeply for it.
