Since the night was still relatively young and Liv still had some energy left, she grabbed Y/N's hand and walked with him through the lit up streets oh Philadelphia. She really enjoyed the meal with everyone, but the time alone with the former soldier mattered more to her at the moment when she took a moment to strike an adorable pose.

Liv:" How's that?"

Y/N:" Simply adorable to be honest with you. The ponytail is cute and the dress really fits you."

Liv:" Daww you think so?"

Y/N:" I do and there's nothing you can do about it."

Liv:" Hehe oh you. But I have to ask about what happened after your match: do you really have a clause that says you can't be fired?"

Y/N:" Oh that thing? Yeah, that's included. Some of the higher ups in my old division talked to Vince and his lawyers about it to ensure social and financial security. Otherwise I would be somewhere else entirely."

Liv:" That's very kind actually. I hope you stay around for as long as possible."

Y/N:" Is someone worried about me?"

Liv:" What if I am?"

Y/N:" Then I have to do this!"

And without warning, Y/N scooped Liv up into his arms and carried her bridal style like the hidden gentleman that he is.

Liv:" Ahhh hahaha Y/N, you dummy! You can't do that out of nowhere!"

Y/N:" I just did. Don't you like it?"

Liv:" I do. You're my special grizzly boo."

Y/N:" Awww stop, you're making an ex soldier blush."

Liv:" Hehehe got you! I could totally go for a milkshake though. What about you?"

Y/N:" A milkshake sounds pretty good right now."

Liv:" Then let's go! Go, go, go!"

The excitement in Liv's voice and her flawless smile caused Y/N to laugh softly as they made their way to the nearest milkshake shop. It always felt so different in a good way to be with her and that night proved it even more. Maybe the whole thing was worth it, all things considered.

Liv linked her hand with his and cuddled up to his side since it started to become a little cold at the time. Usually he would give his jacket to her, but he didn't have one there this time.

Y/N:" Hopefully I can warm you up enough."

Liv:" You always do, Y/N. And I've come to enjoy it a lot."

Y/N:" May I know why?"

Liv:" Because you're tall, you have a different kind of body heat than others and I'm comfortable with you. That's why."

Y/N:" Always a little charmer. If I didn't know, I'd think you're doing this to soften me up even more."

Liv:" Oh no, don't worry about that. I like your current level of softie hehe."

Y/N:" I'm glad you do. What do you think comes up next for us in terms of feuds?"

Liv:" Well, Mandy and I talked about that too and from what we heard, they're planning to have you and me go against her and Dolph until the next Pay-Per-View."

Y/N:" A Mixed Tag Team rivalry. Very interesting. I wonder how that will start off."

Liv:" It's easy. Just...Watch Me."

Liv giggled and walked into the milkshake shop first while Y/N shook his head with a soft smile on his face. He got into something unpredictable, but fun at the same time and with Liv being her bubbly self like that, it was even more enjoyable. She caused him to feel better about himself, better about being friends with some great people and about belonging somewhere where his enemies wouldn't immediatly kill him on sight. Y/N felt thankful for the help and support he received and he wanted to make sure to pay everyone back sooner rather than later.

Liv stood close to the counter, thinking about the toppings she might want while Y/N just walked up to her and put an arm around the cute blonde.

Y/N:" What's the matter? Can't decide what to choose?"

Liv:" I ordered an Oreo milkshake, but now I don't know what to top it with!"

Y/N:" Well, what do you like?"

Liv:" I like sweets all around, that's the thing."

Y/N:" Then let me handle it and you get us a nice seat. Okay, buttercup?"

Now Liv looked at Y/N with wide eyes. Did he really give her that nickname? It was so unexpected and caused the usually bubbly and talkative girl to become flustered as she blushed and walked off to find a seat. Truth be told, it has been a while since anyone made her blush like that, especially in public, so this was a lot to handle for her right now while Y/N handled the toppings. He and the waiter just looked at each other calmly for a moment.

Waiter:" That was nice of you to handle this."

Y/N:" I help wherever I can. She has a sweet tooth for all things sugar."

Waiter:" I can see that. Hopefully you two will enjoy everything here. Oh and if you're not together yet, you should land that shot."

Y/N:" Our private matters don't concern you, Sir. So I advise you to cut it out, do you understand?"

With the suddenly strict undertone, Y/N managed to make the waiter back off and get the milkshake done. He hated nosy people like that, asking about things that they don't have anything to do with. He put his hands in his pockets and walked to where Liv was who smiled once she saw her boo again.

Liv:" There you are. Did you sort everything put?"

Y/N:" Yep, I did. We should get the shake in just a few minutes."

Liv:" Good. You know me and sweets so well."

Y/N:" Well, you're basically walking candy yourself, considering how sweet you actually are."

Liv:" How do you come up with such things?"

Y/N:" Lots and lots of TV shows. I've watched way too many recently."

Liv:" If you manage to use the advice correctly, I might have to call you mine soon~."

Y/N:" Oh? Are we ready for that?"

Liv:" I am and I will get you ready as well, Y/N. Trust me, before you can count to 10, I will have you prepared for me hehe."

Y/N:" Oh dear..."

Liv giggled and just a moment later, they were served the milkshake as her eyes lit up at seeing it.

Liv:" Oreo crumbs, chocolate syrup and sprinkles? You picked those?"

Y/N:" I did. Give it a taste."

That was exactly what she did as she took the straw and then drank a big amount of said shake, licking her lips before humming in approval. Y/N smiled and took the second straw that was given to them so they could share it as best as possible.

About an hour and a small walk through the rain later and the two were finally back at the hotel. Most of their friends were asleep already, so they had to be quiet as they walked through the hallway. Liv still had her smile going on at the moment, really feeling the joy of having spent most of the night with Y/N. She knew she was head over heels in love with him, but didn't wanna ask him out for another date just yet.
Once making it to the door of her hotel room, Liv unlocked it and then turned around to face Y/N.

Liv:" Thank you so much for everything, Y/N. You're an incredible guy."

Y/N:" You're more than welcome, Liv. It looks like my stern facade is slowly breaking and the more normal side of me comes out."

Liv:" I like it. It makes you more fun haha."

Y/N:" Wasn't I fun before?"

Liv:" Not as much as you are now and that means a lot."

Y/N:" I appreciate it. And before I go, please take this."

Liv wasn't sure what he meant by that until Y/N bent down to her level and kissed her cheek, coming very close to her lips in the process.

Y/N:" Have a wonderful night, Liv. I will see you once we're up."

Liv:" You too, Y/N. Sleep well."

The two smiled at each other once more before Y/N walked off to his room while Liv got into her own and leaned against the door, touching her heart and letting out an excited squeal.

Liv:" He does like me back!"
