THE GROUP began making their way up the stairwell, but Freya paused once she realized that Harley wasn't moving anymore. Instead, she stood still, staring down the empty stairwell. Freya ushered everyone on ahead, before moving back to stay with Harley. She gently reached out, placing a hand on the woman's arm. Harley immediately pulled out her gun, aiming it directly at Freya's head. The woman slowly raised her hands, attempting to calm Harley.

"Hey, woah, it's just me, Harley." Freya said softly, eyes flickering between the gun, and Harley's face. Harley's hand shook lightly as she stared at Freya.

"Have you ever been in love?" Harley asked after a moment. The question took Freya by surprise — out of all the things to come out of Harley's mouth, she wasn't expecting that.

"Yeah, I have." Freya whispered. Harley lowered her gun, and for a moment, Freya could see the hurt girl underneath the carefully crafted façade. "Come on, let's go, yeah?" Freya asked quietly, before gently taking Harley's hand, and leading her up the stairwell. Pushing open the door to the large office at the top, Freya held it open for Harley to walk through.

"Hey, wait here, please. I don't wanna give this dude a heart attack." Rick said, holding his hand out to Harley to keep her from moving forward into the room before them.

"Aw, he's embarrassed of us." Harley taunted, faking a pout. Freya smirked at that, shaking her head lightly.

"Hey, Flag. This dude better cure cancer after all this shit." Floyd said, gesturing to the room. Rick chuckled lightly before walking over to the metal door, punching in a passcode on the panel next to it before slipping through the door. Freya waited patiently as Rick entered the room, with Floyd following a minute later. The rest of the group was waiting semi-patiently in silence, before Digger nudged Freya in the side.

"Hey, Sparky. I didn't know you could speak Spanish." He said, remembering her talking to Chato earlier. Freya raised an amused eyebrow at the man.

"You never asked." She replied, and Digger opened his mouth to reply, before their conversation was cut short when Rick and Floyd walked out of the room. The two were followed by Amanda Waller, in all her devilish glory.

"No way." Harley said in shock, while Waylon let out a low growl as the group circled around Waller.

"Let's go home." Rick said sternly, giving them all a warning look. Digger let out a humorless laugh, nodding.

"Yeah, let's go home. That sounds good. You guys wanna go home? Or do you wanna go back to prison?" Digger asked the group, and Freya's stomach twisted. Of course she didn't want to go back to prison — she hated that place. But, she also didn't have a home to go back to. If she left prison, where would she go? There was no place for her in the world. "Look, all I'm saying is, we kill the pair of 'em now, before they kill us." Digger said bluntly, making Tatsu draw her sword, taking a step forward. Waller shot her arm out in front of the woman, pushing her back.

"I got this." She said quietly, before looking at the group she created. "You all made it this far. Don't get high-spirited on me, and ruin a good thing." Waller said, raising a small screen that showed their faces; the screen that, with a push of a button, could kill them. Everyone fell silent as Waller pushed by them, the soldiers following obediently. Freya cracked her neck, a crackle of electricity thrumming through her for a moment at the thought of the bomb.

"I like her." Waylon grumbled out, making Freya laugh. She patted him on the shoulder as she followed the group, ready to get the hell out of this city.

On the roof, GQ attempted to speak to the helicopter that hovered just off the edge of the rooftop. After several failed attempts, Freya narrowed her eyes at the helicopter, wondering why they weren't responding.

"Boss, they're not talking to me." GQ said, and Rick stared at the helicopter. After a moment, realization dawned across his features, and it only took a second for Freya to understand what happened.

"Our bird's been jacked. Light it up!" Rick shouted, and everyone sprung into action at once. As the soldiers began firing, so did the people who took their helicopter. Rick quickly grabbed Freya, pulling her down behind cover, a bullet just barely grazing her arm. The unmistakable laugh of the Joker echoed out over the rooftop, blending in with the gun shots. Harley stood at the sound, beginning to walk to the helicopter.

"Kill her!" Waller demanded, and Freya shot her an icy glare as she rolled out from behind cover, slipping away from Rick's hand as he attempted to grab her. She quickly ran to Harley, grabbing her arm.

"Harley, no!" Freya exclaimed, making the woman stop. Harley turned, something flickering in her eyes as she looked back at Freya. But as soon as Joker kicked down a rope for her, Harley was gone, pulling away from Freya's grasp. She ran, jumping onto the rope. The helicopter pulled away, and everyone stepped out from behind cover, the gunfire ceasing

"Kitsune! Take the helicopter down! Disable its systems!" Waller demanded, furious eyes glaring at Freya, who shook her head, stepping back next to Floyd.

"Sorry, I'm kind of fried at the moment." She said, making small, fizzled sparks come out from her fingertips.

"Deadshot, I want you to shoot that woman!" Waller demanded again, turning her attention to Floyd. He glanced at Freya, before looking back at Waller.

"She ain't do shit to me." Floyd said with a shake of his head. Waller scowled at his words.

"You're a hitman, right? I got a contract. Kill Harley Quinn. Do it for your freedom, and your kid." Waller said, attempting to use Floyd's daughter against him. Deadshot turned, raising his gun towards Harley.

"Now she's dead." He said, carefully lining up the shot. Chato placed a hand on Freya's shoulder, as Floyd took the shot. Harley's body fell a small ways down the rope, tangling up in it, and just hanging there. Freya's chest tightened in anger, before Harley sprung up again, her laugh faintly reaching her ears. "I missed." Floyd said simply, looking down at Waller.

"Good one, mate." Digger said to Floyd as he walked by, joining their group. Waller raised a walkie talkie to her mouth.

"It's Waller. Savior One-Zero's been hijacked. Shoot it down." She commanded, and a voice crackled through the other end.

"Roger that, ma'am. Going in hot." The soldier said, and Chato shot Freya an alarmed look. Her eyes scanned the sky for the helicopter, but it had disappeared between the tall buildings. A voice crackled again over the walkie talkie. "Target destroyed, ma'am." Waller pursed her lips.

"Thank you. Now get me off this roof." She said, before the device in Waller's hand sparked into flames, destroyed. She dropped it, turning to Freya.

"Sorry. Guess I'm not so tired anymore." Freya bit out, glaring at Waller. The woman turned to the group.

"The Joker and Harley Quinn are no more." Waller said, speaking as it they were nothing. Freya, who took her place between Digger and Floyd, glared ahead, fists clenched at her sides. Digger looked at her, frowning.

"You couldn't save her." Digger said quietly, and Freya shook her head in disbelief.

"Yeah, story of my life."

Rick helped Waller onto the helicopter, as the rest of remaining soldiers, and the squad, look on. Once she was on, Rick took a few steps back, away from the helicopter.

"Stand by, I'll send another helo!" She yelled, and Rick nodded in understand. And, just like that, she flew away, leaving the rest of them on the rooftop. Freya had half a mind to disable their systems, and send them crashing to the ground. But, she refrained, reigning in her anger. One of the radios the soldiers were carrying crackled to life, yelling a 'mayday' message before it cut off. GQ quickly muttered something into his walkie talkie, and got a vacant response, before looking to Rick.

"Ops confirmed. Waller is down, 1K away." He said, and Rick nodded.

"Let's go get her." Rick said, stopping in front of Freya. "The missions not over." He said, making her raise a skeptical eyebrow at him.

"It is for me. We had a deal." She said shortly, making Rick shake his head.

"Without Waller, you got nothing." It began to rain as the group left the rooftop.

Freya was surprised to see Harley sitting on top of a car when they exited the building, her hair matted down by the ran, and makeup smeared down her face.

"Hey guys, I'm back! I missed you all so much." Harley said happily, and Floyd chuckled lightly.

"We're glad you could make it." He said, and Harley's face fell for a moment, before Floyd helped her off of the car.

"Hey, craziness." Digger said, before tossing Harley her bat. She caught it, smiling at him softly. Chato, Waylon and Freya all grinned at each other, moving forward.

"Come on, Harley, let's go."
