Corl POV

Next thing I know, we're being chased by life sized wolf board game pieces. I run towards the middle platform in hopes of escape.

"Guys, they're you're own pieces! They won't attack you, they're trying to attack everyone else!" Alex yells.

I look over to him and see that he's behind his set of wolf figures and they're now approaching the middle platform. I run back to my side and jump over my pack of wolves.

At least I know that they're protecting me, but I don't want them to hurt the others, as well as the others' wolves will try to do to me. How do we prevent anyone from getting hurt? I piece together an idea.

"Guys, go to the middle platform!" I yell, accepting the first idea that comes to mind.

"Are you crazy?" Ethan yells back.

"Just trust me!" I try to convince them.

Hesitantly, they all run to the middle platform and I follow. The wolves prowl closer to us as everyone seems to question their decision of following my instruction.

"Jump over the wolves on the count of 3..," I say.

"1.. 2.," I continue as we position ourselves.

"3!" I yell as we all dive over the pack.

One almost bit my leg, but I managed to dodge. As we all moved out of the way, the wolves continue to attack each other. I cringe as I watch the wolves turn into piles of stone in front of my eyes.

Wait.. did I do it? Did I save us from possible death?

"Go Corl!" Denis claps as the pile of stone disappears into dust.

The others follow in clapping and we all lean into a group hug.

"Thanks guys, but thank Alex for figuring out that the wolves were connected to certain people!" I share the victory.

"Aww thanks, Corl," Alex humbly says to me.

We pull away from the hug and see a piece of paper laying on the floor next to us.

"Was that there before?" Elijah asks, pointing to the paper.

"No..," Sub answers.

Alex picks it up and reads what it says.
