Elijah POV

I look at Ethan as the expression on his face saddens. My expression does too. He only has one chance left and if he blows it, I won't have a twin brother anymore. I can't imagine life without him.

I sit there in silence as I wait for one of his hearts to deplete... but it doesn't. I look back down at the note card, glaring at the answer. He got it wrong, didn't he?

"Wait..," I say as I read the answer over again.

It reads, Colgate. Wait a second, I read it wrong! It is Colgate!

"It is Colgate!" I yell.

I look up at Ethan and a sigh of relief replaces his expression of sadness.

"Gosh, dyslexia. Am I right?" I smirk.

"You're such an idiot," He jokes, while smiling back and letting out a tiny chuckle.

"Nice, Elijah," Alex laughs.

The lights goes out and flickers to life again, revealing only Alex in front of me. The other chair has disappeared. He's the last person that  hasn't answered a question yet.

"Alex, Which of the Great Lakes does not share a border with Canada?" I ask.

I watch as he mouths the names of each Great Lake, counting them on his fingers.

Alex POV

I continue to count the 5 Great Lakes on my fingers, one by one. Superior... Huron... that's two. What else?? I sit there for a good minute or two, trying to remember the names of the lakes, which are on the tip of my tongue.

Michigan! How could I forget Michigan? I struggle to remember the last couple but I'm pretty sure it's Lake Michigan.

Surely it would be since Michigan is in the U.S., and I don't think it would stretch all the way to Canada. I can't be too sure though and I don't want to risk it. It would be too much to lose over a silly guess.

I continue to think long and hard to remember the last two lakes. I'm starting to get impatient. Forget it. I'm going with Lake Michigan.

"Lake Michigan..?" I hesitantly answer.

I watch as Elijah peers down at the notecard, my heart beating a million times a second.

"That is.."
