The demon was chasing them while both of them kept running away. This brought Yuki's mind in chaos.

She hated crowd. But she has to get across them. She was definitely not the type of person to like thrilling situations like getting chase, playing tags. She got easily anxious and nervous. Also, she was worried about the guy she was dragging around.

Was he going to be okay? So she tightened her hand for not letting her sweaty hands slip off him.

Behind the multiple worries, she made a decision to prioritize of finding a place where there were no people before the demon can catch them.

And then, something caught her attention--

An emergency stairway. She was not sure if it was really allowed to enter that door but she decided to give it a go.

She sped up and rashly opened it. "So you decided to fight?" Shou fixed his posture beside her as she turned back at the door, anticipating the arrival of the demon.

"WALA NA KAYONG TAKAS." The demon arrived. She was right. It was round and short. Also, it has a dark green rough-looking skin. It has two little feet and, tentacles were covering its mouth.

Her body felt exhausted. She felt troubled that the paper bag might break with all the running she did. So she immediately dropped the bag. But she noticed the she was already holding her scythe on her right hand. When did her scythe appeared?

As she was thinking about it, the demon took the initiative to attack her!

She panicked. She failed to let her guard up. She was too late for her to protect herself from the upcoming attack. As her scythe was foot away from the demon, who was few inches away from her, a bullet came from inbetween of her hair. It was from one side of her pigtails.

She could clearly hear the sound of a travelling bullet until it penetrated to the demon's eye. It perfectly described the term bullseye.

"AHHHHHHHHHH" The demon screamed in pain.

However, as it should weaken, the demon immediately mixed with anger as if the attack gave him energy to forward in an attempt of an counter-attack.

She froze.

But the demon immediately turned into ashes. And she felt those ashes on her skin.

The scream of the demon and its tensioned expression, shocked Yuki. She cannot avoid it especially all of that happened while occupying her whole sight, in a short period of time.

She wanted to ponder more of what just happened but his presence made her return to reality.

Their eyes met. She sighed and carried her things, preparing to go home. "Tara na." And she smiled a bit.

The weapons already disappeared and she didn't know when, as if it always intentionally appeared and disappeared whenever it was out of her vision.

Then, she took steps out of the door without waiting for him.
