She paid for it after reading the counter display. There was no hint of any unsual expression on her. Like it was normal to spend that much.

Just how rich she is?

The employees packaged the products and gave the receipt to her. It was a pretty long list. And the result? Shou held almost all of those paper bags. While Yuki was only holding two. Oh well, para sa kanya naman yon and it was not that heavy anyways. For him at least.

So they decided to go home, walking side by side. The mall was not actually not that far from her place. So they walked from her house to the mall. And they'll do the same to go home.

But how can he pay her back? If it was only the money he have in his place, then he can buy more than this. But this was a different world. Just like how he picked his underwear.

He talked smoothly to the salesman at that time. And Yuki didn't expect that. All she could hear were the noises from the broadcast and people. But she could see how Shou and the salesman were exchanging words without any hint of miscommunication. This guy appeared to be cold but he can socialize. She was amazed.

"I'll pay back when I have enough money." It disrupted Yuki's pace. What was he saying? She felt uncomfortable when talking about money but she didn't have intentions of letting him return it at the first place.

She turned her head to his direction but to her surprise, there was a demon above them!
She met its eyes but immediately took her attention back to the road. How unlucky she was. Lagi na lang siya napapatingin sa mga mata nila.

Now, all she could think was the demon. She immediately looked away kaya hindi niya masiyadong na obserbahan ang itsura nito. But she knew that the demon wa round and short. Also, it has two wings and one big eye.

She was begging on the back of her mind to make time fast so that they can already reach home since it would be weird if she suddenly started to walk fast just right after having an eye contact with the demon.

Then, she remembered that Shou was talking about paying her back and she was still not replying. So she thought of how to reply.

"Shou, hindi mo naman kailangang bayaran yon... A-ayun naman na talaga ang balak ko, bilhan ka ng mga gamit." She can't help but stutter kasi napasubo siya agad na magisip ng sasabihin para lang na magmukhang natural ito and at the same time, sakto sa gusto niyang ipaintindi kay Shou.

But then, as she spoke, she could hear wings flapping getting louder and louder behind her, as if the demon was getting nearer! They were still at the mall and there were a lot of people. They cannot just make a scene and react such monster was here!

Suddenly, Shou stopped walking and Yuki felt that, so she also stopped. She was about to turn around and ask him the reason he suddenly stopped. But all she can see right now was Shou looking straight at the demon.

"NAKIKITA MO BA AKO?" And it smiled. Yuki felt the danger so she suddenly dragged him away as he was about to speak.

The mall was very crowded since it was holiday. But they managed to move in the crowd as fast they can. Though, Shou was just letting himself getting dragged by her. He didn't reallly care.

"Why are we running away?"

He dared to ask something so obvious. So instead of answering his question, she kept forcing her way to the crowd while Shou was able to follow beside her with her hand holding onto him.

She glanced at him and he received such annoyed face. She took a deep breath.

"Nakakaasar ka! Iniiwasan ko nga eh!"
