She looked behind. Pero sana hindi niya na lang ginawa. Para may mas oras pa siyang makailag sa suntok ng kalaban.

She almost stumbled backwards pero nakaiwas siya. And when she lifted her head, she saw a familiar face.

"NAIWASAN MO PALA ANG ATAKE KO." But not heard a familiar voice.

Her enemy was one of the bullies, Rica-- Rica Avila. Her voice was not like this. It was supposedly a high-pitched annoying voice. But how come? And her eyes was not the same thing as before. Her whole eyeballs were completely painted with red. And at the top, was the centipede man she saw earlier. "SURPRISE?" It grinned and Yuki stayed quiet. Within a small amount of time, she reached a conclusion.

It was not her classmate speaking, but the demon behind her. It was controlling Rica.

"HAHAHAHA! NAKIKITA MO PALA AKO KANINA, BAT HINDI MO MAN LANG PINARAMDAM!" Yuki just then realized how tall the monster was, swallowing her entire body casted by its shadow. Fear was seeping inside her.

She didn't know what to do. Her body froze up, thinking in chaos. "MATUTUWA ANG ALAGA KO PAG NAKITA NIYA ANG KANYANG PINAKAIINGGITANG KLASMEYT-- AY PIRASO PIRASO NA!!!" Rica attacked but Yuki was left in confusion.

Naiinggit sakin si Rica?

Yuki was about to received an uppercut but she was able to push the enemy's hand away by using both hands to hold the metal bar of her scythe, voiding the upcoming punch. And immediately backed away.

The enemy froze in her current stance as if surprised that Yuki was capable of blocking the attack. And Rica slowly regained her composed posture. "UNANG LABAN MO TO DIBA? MAGALING KA PARA SA ISANG BAGONG SIBOL NA MANLALARO." In the middle of its dialogue, Yuki was thinking of a way to distract the demon. So that she could successfully land an attack. Because it seemed like, the enemy has a good reflex, using only barehands to fight.

"PERO HINDI NA KO MAGTATAKA PA, DAHIL IKAW YON DIBA. SAYO NANGGALING YON..." The demon closed his eyes while grinning as if reminiscing a joyful event. And that was a signal for Yuki to attack!

So she ran towards the enemy and jumped high, stepping on both shoulder of her classmate then took another jump! It was expected for Rica to attack immediately but she only stood still like nothing touched her.

Yuki was prepared for an attack. She was already in mid air. But a question popped up inside her mind.

Mamamatay rin ba si Rica?

Yuki's hair bounced and swayed. She met the red eyes of the demon.

"PEEKABOO!"

The whole system of her froze in fear. She became more conscious of the sharp teeth of the demon, imagining herself getting eaten by it, alive.

She was too preoccupied that she didn't notice the upcoming large hand of the demon, with the intent of holding and squishing her into a pulp.

A loud noise interrupted the scene and stopped that intent. This made Yuki wake up from her fear and there she saw, a small hole on the demon's head.

As Yuki fell down from jumping too high, the demon turned his head to look behind him, and its Shou, pointing a gun on the enemy.

Yuki landed successfully.

"NAKALIMUTAN KO PALA NA ANDITO KA." The demon was still grinning, like it was not wounded and, its head turned on Yuki's direction. "MAGSISI KA AT PAPANGARAPIN NA SANA..." The demon started to become ashes starting from its tail.

"...HINDI MO NA LANG SIYA NAKILALA." The demon completely disappeared and Rica fell off the ground.

Patay na ba siya?

"I saw it." Shou caught her attention. He was not too far away from her. "Why did you hesitate?" His eyes were cold. He walked over Rica and he stopped in front of Yuki.

"Tell me."

At that moment, one thing crossed her mind.

I failed again.
