Shou and Yuki dragged their luggage as they entered the gate. Then, Yuki found Matthew and Jason however, they might not have noticed them since Yuki and Shou were behind them.

Unlike outside the gate whereas there were only stone flooring tiles and no signs of living, the inside of the school ground was a large yard, multiple times larger than Yuki's front yard!

They were stepping onto wide stoned ground which opened to two separated pairs of arcs. These arcs led to different pathways. On their left, was a pair of arcs that has blue-painted portions. While on their right has red-painted portions.

These pathways were both leading to a fountain and, followed by a long open hallway with transparent rooves and marbled-flooring. The hallway was connecting two tall glass towers.

All stoned floors were surrounded by bushes and, lamposts with attached speakers on it. And beyond were grass and groves.

Is this a school? It was her first time seeing a terribly large school ground and glass towers as school buildings.

"This is the President of Supreme Student Council speaking, Spade. I welcome all of you to Elite High." The voice came from speakers . It was a bit of deep and monotoned.

"To begin, we prepared a small event. There will be a piece of paper given to you." Then, the guards started to disseminate papers to the students.

"In front of you, there are two stations, blue and red. Read the paper and follow it." The speaker may be pertaining to the arcs.

Yuki and Shou received a small piece of white rolled paper.

"You may start."

They both opened it and they understood the message immediately.

You are obligated to find a partner. Go to the blue station.

The organization was pertaining to the contractors! Then, Yuki looked to the students. They were cheerful and amused. For them, partners were merely a friend or lover. A lot of students were going to the red station while in blue station, there were none.

"Are we going now?" Yuki asked Shou as she glanced at him.

Then, she noticed that there were people going to the blue station however, she got distracted when someone held her hand.

"Don't get separated from me." Shou started to walk and she can only followed him. In her peripheral vision, she caught Jason looking at their direction. However, she didn't talk to him. Because this was the plan. Shou and the others were instructed to pretend they didn't know each other maliban sa kanilang mga partners.

When they entered the arc, the surrounding suddenly changed. The room was so spacious, it looked empty for a second despite of the people scattered around. It has black and white square tiles while the wall were complete white. There were no lamps, chandelier or anything that can light this room. However, the surrounding was still clear. At the front was a grand staircase and a tall black door.

Yuki was confused at the amount of people present inside the room. If she could remember, there were not that many who entered the blue station.

However, the more she stared at the people surrounding them, the more she realized these people were not those teenagers!

Those teenagers looking forward to the newly opened school!

The people here looked a little bit old, mature and rough-looking! There were even some who were smoking! The people were obviously different types! There were others who looked barbaric and there are also others who looked formal, wearing suits. There were also females who wore exposing clothes. And there were others who only wore casual clothes.

They are gwynzei!

Upon thinking, Yuki immediately wanted to execute the plan. But who should they choose?

After explaining the basic things about this new world, Sir Arthur started to introduce the plan to the seven pairs.

"Elixiretta must have a countermeasure for trespassers. They cannot allow angels to slip into their plan. And once, they found out your true identity. You will suffer. However, there is absolutely no method to differentiate between an angel and a demon. But there is a sign." The picture on the screen changed. It was a picture of a human body and an arrow pointed at the nose. Then, that sole part was enlarged.

"Smell. All places both in heaven and hell give off different smell. So when you stay into a certain place for a long period of time, for a person who has a keen nose, they will be able to identify where were you from. It seems impossible for a normal human being, however for a gwynzei who has his all senses opened such as smell, can do it. So the longer you stay at a place, the more the smell will cling on you."

"Think it this way. Like when you eat, there is an odor left on your mouth. For someone who know the food you ate, he will be able to identify it. However, for a stranger who is unfamiliar about the food, he will find it strange and might treat it as your normal breath. And that is why, one can only guess about the origin of a gwynzei. Simply because they don't know all the places in heaven nor hell. So all you have to do, is brush your teeth and the stench will be rid off. This is the same thing of what you all will do."

The water they were using on heaven can mostly remove the smell on their body. However, there will always still be a faint smell on them. So their plan was to put the thin piece of cloth on any gwynzei and stay near the victim. The piece of cloth has a great stench of the popular city on heaven and it was inside a small plastic. The plan was to let the organization think that they only got influenced by the smell of their victim who has a great stench more than them.

Yuki put hers inside the sling bag she was wearing. Shou's might be inside one of his pocket in his skinny jeans since he was only wearing a long sleeve shirt.

The place was a bit noisy. She must find her victim. However, the people surrounding them, were all standing alone.

Then, Shou dragged her to a spot that was a bit crowded and removed his hand from hers. They glanced at each other before Shou approached his victim. So Yuki started too.

The people here didn't have any companions however, if they went to a place where there was, it would take time and might be too late. So it was inevitable for them to get separated.

Her heart was beating loudly. She approached a woman wearing a long winter coat and tight dress underneath. Yuki went behind her. Her target was the pocket on her sides. She must slip the cloth inside.

The woman was smoking, with her other hand in the pocket and was still not sensing Yuki. Once Yuki tear off the plastic, she must immediately slip it inside or else, she will be the own victim of her scheme.

The plastic was on her hands. The woman's attention was at the front. This was her opportunity. So Yuki tore the paper when someone suddenly shouted!

"Quiet!"

Shit! Nahulog yung plastic!

Yuki wasn't able to tear it off completely, got startled and accidentally released the plastic from her hands!

Sino ba yung sumigaw?! Malapit ko ng magawa!

Yuki looked ahead and three people were standing on the top of the staircase. It must be the only woman standing at the top that shouted! She panicked.

Andito na agad sila! Asan na ba yung plastic?!

She immediately bent her knees and picked up the plastic lying beside her foot!

"Hey what the hell are you doing?!"

Shit. Napansin niya na agad ako!

She tightly held the plastic in her hand.

Bwisit! Kailangan kong kumalma! Kalma! Kumalma ka!

Yuki slowly straightened her back from bending her knees awhile ago. "Sorry. I just picked something up." Yuki slightly smiled but the woman was intently glaring at her.

Kailangan ko ng umalis. Baka mas lalo akong makaagaw ng atensyon--

"Well if you may excuse me."

Yuki walked away.

I failed! Sa unang instruction, pumalpak agad ako!

Then, she noticed that the place has gotten quiet except with the guy at a spot she cannot see, arguing against the people of Elixiretta standing above.

They were three people. Two men and one women. A man took a step below and, blocked the woman with his hand who was about to fight the guy among the crowd.

While the other man was only standing behind them, not speaking. There was even no glint of emotion in his eyes.

"It's best for you not to get her angry, you might not come out here alive." The man said who climbed down a step. But Yuki immediately removed her attention from them.

Before listening to others' business, she has to save herself first! But who will be her next victim?!

"Are you underestimating me?!" Yuki must take the opportunity while the crowd was still busy.

"I'm only telling the truth." There! That guy wearing a bag will do! So she approached him from behind.

"Damn--"

"Stop! If you can't follow us then back out, right now!" However, the crowd has suddenly gotten quiet again! She automatically stopped her movement. She felt like, each movement will be heard with the room too quiet!

Yuki looked ahead and noticed the quiet man on the staircase has his head changed position. Was he looking at her direction?!

"Listen, a quick inspection will be held to check if any of you are angels!"

Fuck!

Should she risk herself getting found in the midst of doing something suspicious?!

"Do it, Vernaill and Lucas."

No-- wait--

The man and the woman who argued against the crowd, bowed down and disappeared!

"Do you sense anyone?" The room has suddenly gotten noisy starting from the front!

"No--- Yeah here!" It was like a domino, the noise kept getting louder and louder!

"You. And you." No! More like, the sound were getting nearer and nearer!

Her body was not moving!

"You." Yuki heard the voice of the woman and felt a tapped on left shoulder. She saw a pair of blue disappearing from her sight.

Then, Yuki noticed a glowing red mark was on her shoulder!

Her mind instantly processed what just happened and looked for Shou! She saw his eyes looking back at her and opened his mouth. However, no voice came out. Shou disappeared!

Not only him! A lot of people instantly disappeared! More than ten people were left and there was not a single people she know! They must be the victims of her other companions!

"Those gwynzei who remained are all suspected angels and must be further investigated. No one will be able to get out unless you either get cleared or dead." The man named Lucas, warned. Then, Yuki remembered the last words Shou said to her.
