~Your POV~

I woke up at the sound of knocking on my door. I groggily say up and yelled, "One sec!!"

I sprung up from my bed after I was fully awake and practically ran to the door. I opened it, and only to find a man with grey/silver hair and a mask covering half of his face.

"Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?" He asked with a closed eyed smile.

I noticed that he was a member of the Leaf Village, so I trusted him. "That'd be me!" I smiled.

"Good. I'm Kakashi Hatake, I came to bring you too Lady Hokage. She has some news for you,"

I gave him a nod, and followed him up to Lady Tsunade's room. He smiled, and left. But before he was fully gone, I thanked him for his time.

I turned to Lady Tsunade and bowed. "You wanted to see me?"

"No need to be so formal every time you come!" I heard a female voice laugh kindly.

I looked up to see a woman with black hair and a pig resting in her arms. She seems nice...

"In that case..." I paused, and ran up to the Lady and picked up the pig and practically hugged it to death. "KAWAII!!!" I yelled.

Both Tsunade and the Lady laughed as I sat the pig down into her arms again, and went back to my original spot. But what surprised me was that the pig jumped out of her grasp and into my arms.

I smiled and gladly pet the pig. The Lady smiled. "I'm Shizune, and that's TonTon,"

"It's nice to me you, Shizune, TonTon," I grinned, still petting TonTon, seeing that he seems to be enjoying it.

"Now, the reason that I called you here," Lady Tsunade coughed, grabbing out attention. "I called you here because here in Konoha, all Genin have a squad of at least 3-4 Ninja and a Jonin leader," she stated.

"So overnight, we have placed you into a Team with 3 other Ninja, you being their fourth member," Shizune explained.

She walked over to a bunch of papers had handing the four of them to me. "Those are your Teammates and Squad Leader," she smiled.

I practically jumped for joy when I saw the familiar green-jumpsuited boy. Oh yeah, I did...

I was hoping all around the Office with great excitement, also being careful of not to break or knock anything over.

I looked over the rest of the papers- still jumping of course- and then handed them back to Shizune.

"I'm guessing you know one of them?" Shizune laughed.

"Yup!" I shouted as I started to sing. "I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!" Over and over again.

After a stopped my little act, Lady Tsunade began speaking again. "They should have started Training about 5 minutes ago. You can find them just on the outskirts of the Village gates,"

I thanked her and ran out the door, but also stopping by my house to brush my hair first, remembering that I hadn't done that yet when Kakashi-Sensei sent me to Lady Tsunade's.

Once that little task was done, I rushed straight towards the Village gates. I took one step out and was nearly sliced right in half by a Shuriken.

If I hadn't did a frontward hand-spring just at the right time. "What was that?!" I yelled, standing up from my crouching position.

"I am soooo sorry! I was doing target practice and that one kinda slipped away from me..!" A girl with brunette hair tied into twin buns said.

"Nah, it's fine! I've been in way worse positions," I mumbled the last part, not wanting her to be any more worried than she was now.

Then, two other people ran from out of the trees. I smiled when I saw Lee was there. "(Y/n)?" He questioned.

"Yup! Lady Tsunade put me on your Team!" I yelled, throwing my hands into the air with a huge smile on my face.

He had tears of joy steaming down his face as he started jumping up and down, with me also joining in.

I heard a man yelling from in the trees, "Why has everyone stopped training?! You must continue to feel the power of Youth!!"

A man that wore basically the same thing as Lee came stomping through the bushes. But he stopped once he saw me and Lee jumping around like crazy people.

"Care to explain?" He asked.

Both Lee and I stopped, standing side-by-side. He wiped his tears away and wrapped one arm over my shoulders.

"Gai-Sensei! This is my friend (Y/n) (L/n)! She has been assigned to join our Team!" He yelled.

Who I presumed was Gai-Sensei, pointed a finger at my face with a grin. "So, do you have what it takes to take on the hard work and discipline of my Team?!" He shouted.

I gave him a salute. "Hai!"

"Will you take any punishment when it comes to failure?!"

"Uh... Hai!"

"Will you wear this jumpsuit?!" He held up a green jumpsuit that matched his and Lee's.

"No!" I said, making it sound like a was happy about not wearing it. Which I was.

"Alrighty then! Have the rest of the Team introduce themselves and meet me at the top of the Mountain with the faces!!" And with that, he was off.

"'The Mountain with the faces'. Seems legit," I joked.

"Hey, I'm Tenten," the brunette girl held out her hand, which I gladly shook.

I looked over at the boy with long hair and eyes that made him seem blind, even though I know he wields the Byakugan.

"A Hyūga, correct?" I asked.

"That's correct. Neji Hyūga,"

After we got that clear, we all trekked our way up the Mountain. Well, of course using the stairs at the side.

Once we made it up, we were immediately met with Gai-Sensei standing there, hands in this hips in a slightly girlie pose.

"Now, we are going to have speed tests!!" He said with a little too much enthusiasm.

"Lead the way Gai-Sensei!!" Lee shouted, pumping a fist into the air, making me chuckle a little.

Okay! So, you and your opponent will start from way over there!" He pointed towards the edge of the Mountain. "Then you will jump off the Mountain!"

That caught all of our attention. "What?!" We yelled, me being surprised that Neji was freaking out too.

"Yes! You will jump off of the Mountain and into that lake down there!" He pointed at a body of water at the bottom of the Mountain.

"A lake, or a puddle?" I confirmed.

"You doubt my Training?!" Gai yelled, clearly being overdramatic.

"Um, considering we're jumping off of a Mountain, yes," I replied. "But whatever! Training is Training!" I shrugged.

"Now that's the Spirit!! Then, whoever makes it too the Village gates first, wins..!"

Lee, Neji, Tenten and I lined up at the starting line. Neji being at the far left, then Tenten next to him. Then me next to Tenten, then Lee at the end next to me.

Gai held up his hand, then counted down. "Five. Four. Three. Two. One. GO!!" We all burst off, readying ourselves to jump off.

Once we reached the perfect point, Lee, Neji and I jumped, leaving Tenten behind. "Sorry Sensei, I just don't wanna break anything... Unlike those lunatics," she protested.

Once us three landed in the water, me and Lee were the quickest to swim out, keeping our ground, we rushed forward towards the gate.

Lee started going his fastest, along with me, we were neck and neck. We were going so fast I swear I almost fell forward onto my face.

We both saw the gate, smiles on our faces. We looked at each other with determination in our eyes.

We touched the gate wall at the same time. We gave each other a thumbs up and a huge grin. After 5 minutes, Neji, Tenten, and Gai made their way to the gates.

"So, who won?" Tenten asked, folding her arms.

Lee and I exchanged glances, then looked at her and smiled. "We did!"
