Surprise My Little One

Alexandra was finally cured and her hip wasn't hurting like it was in the past few days. The doctor recommend her to use some medicine to ease it while she was walking around or sitting most of the time. While she was out, Judith was at an interview discussing the previous scar some things that happened to her last week. The police had already investigated the house where she lived at and Alex was on her way back there trying to find any clues that Jozsef had hid from the police that could never find it.

She searched around the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms until she finally dug inside of the drawers when she saw a written letter that was handwritten by Maria.

She read,

Dear Alexandra, I want to write this to you and can not say it to you in person because Jezsof doesn't want you around anymore. I'm sorry for avoiding you and Judith really missed being around you mostly whenever we go out together she wanted to go over and visit. This is my blessing to you when you told me about the upcoming future I knew that something terrible would happen and your right. I'm asking you to please look after Judith for me even if she does die and I don't make it...look out for her as a mother should do.

Sincerely, Maria

'Adopting Judith as my own daughter? How would my boss take this?' Alex thought as she folded the letter and shoved it into her pocket.

Judith Pov

I was already finished with the interview and waited for Alex to pick me up. I missed my mommy and at the same time, I thought about Alex if she was ever going to leave me too. I heard a vehicle pulled up as I saw Alex parked on the side as she got out to greet me with a small wave as I wave back.

"Hey, how did the interview go?" She asked.

I shrugged, "It was fine. Everyone was really worried about me and were happy about you saving me."

"I'm glad."

"Alex, people have been asking me if you were my new guardian to look after or I might become an orphan. Dad is in prison and mommy is dead."

"Well, I did happen to find a letter from your mother that I sort of did..."

She handed me a paper that was titled 'Adoption' as my eyes bulged to see that my name changed too. Judith Eva Barsi Oak.

"Y-Your adopting me?"

"Yep."

I jumped into her arms repeating thank you to her that she was my new mom. What was even more exciting was that I didn't have to go back into that brutal life again.
