Alex Pov

I sat up from bed and yawned to see that we were still on the road since I left it on auto mode to drive for me. I looked over at Judith who was still asleep in the bed that I made for her as I smiled to myself seeing her free away from that monster of hers who called himself a father. Thankfully he's gone away to be in prison for a lifetime and it doesn't bother me much. I got out of bed and told the car to take us to Denny's to have some breakfast. 

I changed my outfit:

After I finished changing, I went to go wake up Judith so she can change hers to be more comfortable while we were on the road. 

"Judith, sweetie. Wake up." I shook her gently as she groans to see me and smiled a little.

"Al-Mommy? Why are you waking me up so early?" She asked in a hoarse tone.

"Because we're on our way to Denny's to grab a bite to eat," I said.

She rubbed her eyes and sat up as I handed her the pair of clothes I picked out for her to wear.

"Change into these we'll be there soon," I said.

"Okay."

While Judith changed into a comfortable outgoing pair that Alex had given her. She couldn't help but smile for the first time she felt loved not only by her biological lover or her fans. But towards Alexandra, it seemed closer and affectionate knowing that she'll be there for her at all times. When they arrived at Denny's both of the girls placed their order to eat. Alex was on her phone and Judith sat in silence sighing to herself to get her new mom's attention.

"Are you bored?" Alex asked.

"Kinda. Yeah." Judith replied.

"Here. I downloaded a couple of apps for you to play while we're on the road." 

Alex handed her the tablet she dug from her bag as Judith stares at it confused as she pressed on the screen to play on it. When the food arrived she placed it beside her as she ate her meal along with Alex. After the meal, they used the restroom and headed back to the van as Judith sat in the back buckling in and waited for Alex to start up the engine. 

"Alex?" 

"Yes?"

"Will you always be there for me?"

"I'll be there for you every now and then. Eventually, when you grow up to be an adult you'll have to look out for yourself kiddo." She said.

Judith knew that she was telling the truth and heard the engine start as the van drove back on the road to continue their trip back to Alex's time line.
