On the way back to Alexandra's place, Judith awoken from her slumber to find herself in the car was parked on the side of the street. She sat up to see Alex wasn't in the car but was sitting on the hood. She unbuckles her seatbelt to tap on the glass window causing her to look at her.

"Alex? Are we going to your place?" Judith asked.

"Yes. In a minute, I'm on the phone." She replied facing away only leaving her to question 'where was the phone?'.

Alexandra Pov

"Yes sir, she's doing fine and the bastard is still at his place with his wife," I replied.

"Good. Make sure to keep a low profile and don't let them know you not from the exact same time period as they are. How close are you engaging with Judith?"

"All I could say it's going really well. I'm just keeping her away from her father before anything else happens to her." 

"All right then, remember what I said. If he does pull on anything beat him to the grave even if it means killing him too." 

"Yes, sir."

I hung up as I adjusted myself to get inside and start the ignition while Judith played with the prize toys I won for her. She looked up questioningly and asked, "Where was the phone? You didn't have one with a cord on it." 

"Uh...yeah. It's an earpiece I wear to talk with my boss."I replied.

"Oh, okay."

Judith sat there in silence and I continued driving to head back to my place. When I arrived in the driveway I parked my car and took my keys to go unlock the door. I waited for Judith to get her things to bring inside of the house. Her jaw dropped as she looked around as I chuckled.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"Wow...this must've cost a lot of money!" She gasped.

"Well, you got to work hard to earn it." I said.

"Its really nice in here." She complimented.

"Thank you. You go ahead and wash up, the bathroom is down the hallway to the right." I said as she nodded before walking down to the bathroom and take a bath.

I heard my phone ring as I looked at the number ID to see that it was Josevf. He probably wants to talk to Judith and I won't let him.

I answered:

"Hello?"

"Where's Judith?"

"Taking a bath. What do you want?"

"None of your business. Its between me and that little brat."

"I'm not going to let her talk to someone who abuses her constantly and tells them threats to get her all worked up."

"You shut your trap or-"

"Or what? You hurt lady like me? Bitch please, I took martial arts class and I'm a black belt. I even joined the army and I can easily beat your ass." I snapped.

"...Hehe...I find it funny that your tryin to act so tough. Judith better be back or I'll get her myself."

"You wish you piece of shit."

I hang up the phone to see Judith standing there holding her clothes. As I concealed myself I walked over and took them from her and put them in the dirty clothes basket.

"Was that...dad?" She asked.

"Yes. It's okay he won't be hurting you not when I'm around." I reassured ruffling her head.

"Where do I sleep?" She asked.

"I have a guest room for you." I escorted her to the guest room as she 'awed' at how huge it was.

"How many times are you going to keep gasping?" I chuckled.

"Forever! Can you tuck me in?" She asked.

She jumped in bed giggling as I smiled. I sat beside her and tucked her in.

"I hope you had a fun time today."

"I did! It was so much fun!"

"Me too. Goodnight Judith." I smiled.

"Alex?"

"Yes? What is it?"

"I wish that...my life was like this. I don't want to go back home." She said in a croak tone.

I hugged her and whispered, "Everything will be alright. Go to sleep you had a long day."

She nodded as I left out of the bedroom shutting the door when Daisy sat in front of me looking very concern. I can't help but feel bad about Judith, it brings me back to my childhood.
