Chapter Eleven: Unexpected
Virgil was tired, to say the least. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and he wanted to pass out on the couch. But, today was a filming day.
It went smooth, give or take a few mishaps. They could, of course, edit that out. Logan was the one that started most of the smaller arguments, but of course, to top it all off, he threatened to send a diss track Roman's way.
Virgil couldn't lie, he wanted to hear it.
Filming was over as soon as it started, it seemed. And it was great, besides the fact that he was even more tired after it. As soon as he appeared back in the mindspace, he immediately went back to his room. He needed a nap.
timeskip
Roman sat on the couch, thinking of ideas for videos. He jotted every single one down, just in case he'd need them in the future for when he wasn't as creative. Roman happily flipped the front page of his notepad back over and set it on the coffee table.
He immediately turned on the television and put on a Disney movie. He had seen them all a million times, at least, but he loved them all the same.
He felt a shift in the couch next to him, then a shoulder resting on his head. There was no need to look over, he already knew who it was.
"Hi, Virgil." Roman said, sweeping a glance over at him. Virgil hummed at the greeting, cuddling up to his arm. Roman wrapped his arm around him and pulled him closer, knowing exactly what kind of day his boyfriend was having.
Some days he'd just feel like nothing and need emotional support. Other days he was affectionate and needed to feel a touch, like a kiss or hug. Something warm like that. It would continue for the rest of the day. Roman would have no problem continuing to give his boyfriend affection.
Virgil let out a soft sigh as he slipped his eyes closed. He would take a nap, but seeing as he just took one, he decided against it.
Speaking of naps, "Have a nice nap, dear?" Roman asked. Virgil hummed in response. Roman pressed a kiss to Virgil's lips. Virgil pulled in for another kiss and leaned closer to Roman. Roman smirked slightly and wrapped his other arm around Virgil.
Virgil pulled away for a moment to breath and pulled right back in. The feeling of Roman's lips against his was addictive, he couldn't get enough. It was just intoxicating. The vanilla taste and the soft, kissable texture was pure heaven to him.
Virgil did eventually have to pull away, though, seeing as his lungs were crying for air. Virgil took in a breath and slowly let it out, not parting with Roman. "I love you so much..." Virgil mumbled. Roman pressed another kiss to Virgil's lips. "I love you too." He said.
timeskip.
Logan was...tired. He had been working overtime for a week now, and he was getting the side effects of losing sleep and not eating enough. He was doing both those things, just not enough. But besides that, he also had a lot more things to worry about.
Thomas was shooting for a new Sanders Sides video at the very end of the month, and he only had half a script written. Thomas, Joan, and Talyn were feeling the backlash. So were the other sides, but Logan got most of the stress, along with Roman.
Roman and Logan always got the most stress out of them all. Whether it was more creative or logical stress, results could vary who got more stress, but it was always the same.
Anyways, Logan was hunched over at his desk, typing away at his computer. He was trying to get more script ideas, seeing as the one they already had wasn't even complete and they had a week and a half to get a video out.
He took a sip from his coffee and immediately went back to typing. He did, until there was a frantic bang on the door.
"L-Logan, help, you have to." It was Virgil, and his voice was shaky. "Logan, p-please." He begged. Logan sighed and put his laptop away. He stood up and opened the door, only to find a shaking Virgil.
"Woah, what's wrong?" Logan asked, taking Virgil into a comforting hug. Logan gently sat him on the bed as he comforted him. Soon enough, Virgil was able to talk. At least, form words slightly and force them out of his mouth.
"Tell me, what's wrong?" Logan asked. "I-I..." He stuttered. "You'd just have t-to see..." Virgil stood up and lead Logan into the living room.
"W-What...?" Virgil mumbled to himself. "He was...it was just right there!" "What was right there?" Logan asked.
Virgil paled. "I..." He started. "...nothing." He finished, turning around and heading back to his room.
"How peculiar." Logan mumbled to no one in particular. He headed back to his room, confused. Logan hadn't expected that. He knew Virgil was paranoid and anxious most of the time, but he hadn't experienced something quite like this.
He'd try to remember to tell the other's of his experience.
