"Wowhoa whoa wait, so your telling me that your from the future intended to help us so that you can fulfill your mission...?" I breathed it all out, summarizing Jade's whole explanation on purpose.

Her one sentence explanation.

Though I just guessed the ' fulfill your mission ' part.

Without any distraction, she simply nodded, keeping everything cool despite my confused self.

I lay there, frozen as questions popped like popcorns dancing in my curious and confused mind.

"B-but...how? I mean, I barely even know you and-

She cut my words off when she raised her hand and she started to give a long sigh.

Everything seemed to stop when the wall clock started ticking loudly, it was quite deafening for me.

"Look, we don't have much time to start any sort of argument." she started as the light atmosphere tensed for a bit.

If we're in a movie, I bet she's one of the main characters whose mature and collected in all circumstances in a team.

Well..

She's from the future after all, she might be older than I think she is. Physical appearances are quite the bait to a  successful cover, I think its really tricky.

I'm still mystified by how things are flowing freely in her will, she has that strong charisma of respect over authority and it amazes me.

"She's right, Frisk. Now that we're leaving to save them." Sans said in a serious tone, by that, he shuffled out of the room without any word.

"L-leaving....? We...? Am I coming too?" I asked trying to regain my balance as I sat up the bed.

"I'm sorry but you can't come, its too perilous." Jade said in her monotone voice, explaining my current condition as she held me back slowly in bed.

With that, she simply left the room with her scooter.

"Gee, tough crowd today, huh." Flowey blankly blurted out, interrupting the tense atmosphere Jade left.

Why can't I come?

How come Sans can come and I can't??

I mean, I know that I nearly got myself killed today but at least I didn't got to sign my death contract with death yet...

Right...?

Sometimes it annoys me.

About how adults would simply forbid you to do the stuff they do. I know their only trying to keep us safe and all.

But...

Can't they let me go just for once?

How would I learn to adapt in life then if they continue to keep me caged?

'Sides, doesn't Jade know that I'm already 9 years old?!

I'm old enough to walk onto streets to find the nearest bus stop, I'm old enough to find my way home.

I can even fend for myself when bullies are around!

Heck I even discovered my unusual powers. But I barely know how or why do I have one.

Haven't I proved myself enough??

I guess not...

This sounds stupid as a reason but if Sans is coming, then...I'm coming to help them too! No friend leaves their friends alone in danger! And I'm taking the risks to save them.

I'm determined!

Jumping off the bed, I threw the covers off of me which accidentally landed on Flowey.

"HEY!!-" he shouted, his voice alarmed me, suddenly having second thoughts if I should or should not bring Flowey with me.

I might need him for extra company, 'sides, who would feed him while I'm gone?

Leaving him here with Dr. G?

He might start his childish tantrums and I don't want him to be a burden for Sans' dad.

"CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME HERE?! FLOWERS LIKE ME STILL NEEDS TO BE PROPERLY TAKEN  CARED OF, YOU KNOW!" he huffed angrily, as he started making those tiny tantrums with his leaves flapping in the air.

Who said he's a Flower?

Well yeah he's a Flower but he's more of a monster if you ask me.

I'm not being a racist here alright.

He's just acting like how a literal monster would threaten and scare the guts out of people but not a slightest hint of scariness is in him, to be honest.

Who said that I'm not properly taking care of him??

A part of me wanted to hesitate and just throw him outside the trash bin but it'll just be a waste of time.

Also, I'm not THAT cruel to simply leave a little flower die in a room that smells like  moth balls in a closet.

Though part of the room is a walk-in closet..

But still! I'm a Nature lover with a green thumb!

"Oh zip it! I know you wouldn't survive a minute of Dr. G's FLOWERY jokes." I reasoned, clutching him by my side as I walked towards the long hallways leading to the kitchen.

"Pft! I'd rather be drowned in jokes than stay suffocated inside your sorry-rotten bag." Flowey mumbled as he rolled his eyes again.

"Whatever"

I continued on ignoring Flowey's nonsense complaints as I passed by different rooms, seeming to be color coded in pattern.

Orange and Blue

I came across open and locked rooms where Papyrus and Sans' rooms I assume would be.

Books here..

Books there...

Books everywhere!

All the rooms have high towering shelves holding old dusty books of various sizes with papers seeping through them!

Excluding the bathroom of course.

Woah , A Library house with a family of bookworms. Cool.

No wonder how Sans always gets to beat off our classmates in class recitations and academic stuff.

He's kinda that nerd in class whom you think is totally into learning or studious at all times but is actually just a normal student with advanced learning capabilities.

Like father, like son.

Taking a sharp turn, I finally found the enormous kitchen. Everything you needed in a kitchen was there.

From different sized cutleries to mixers and oven toasters.

I bet Dr. G really loves cooking or maybe Sans' and Papyrus Mom...?

I never really heard anything about their mom but oh well, I don't want to be a nosy friend and its none of my business.

As I scanned the room, I found no one.

Dr. G, Sans and Jade are nowhere to be found.

"HAH! They already left you, it doesn't  surprise me at all." Flowey snickered, sending a feeling of worry in me.

Fed up of all Flowey's side comments, I puffed my cheeks and reminded myself to stop spoiling him with sweets from now on. Since it always gets the most of him.

Now that I thought of it...

Do flowers even get sugar high?

Never mind, I need to focus and find where everyone is.

Walking out of the room, I tried to find any source of sound inside the house to lead me to them, but not a single scratch was heard.

"Maybe they're in the basement." Flowey suddenly suggested.

They have a basement?

"Wow, now you're helping" I snickered as I rolled my eyes at him.

"HEY! THIS HIDE AND SEEK GAME JUST TURNED INTO A MERRY-GO-ROUND RIDE FOR ME! SO QUIT PRETENDING TO BE UNAMUSED." he hissed, narrating his complaints of dizziness.

"Ok ok, geez, I was only kidding." I chuckled, amused of his annoyance as always.

"Where's the basement anyways?"

"Outside, back yard, by the door" He grumpily said with his high pitched sassy voice.

I'd compare him to aquamarine, I must say, except for the British accent style.

Following his directions, I headed for the door by the living room and opened it to be met by trickles of rain just outside the front porch.

The few drops of rain started to form into big droplets till the rain showered on us as headlights shone down on the dark streets.

Isn't it still the start of the school year..? Weird...coz the weather was fair this morning.

How come it already rains this hard?

Guess the weather's bipolar today. Flowey cursed as I ran for shelter by the back yard and there I finally found the basement.

"You should've at least sprang out your umbrella." Flowey complained yet again as he moved his head all around just like how a wet dog would.

"I WOULD HAVE if I had an umbrella." I emphasized my point.

After walking down the stairs, I hurriedly ran for the double glass doors to make it before they leave me.

Surprisingly, I made it.

"Frisk?? What are you doing here???" Sans approached me, as I faced him wet all over.

"Umm...I wanted to come with you guys...?" I grinned but was messed up by a terrible sneeze.

"Gee, ya didn't really come prepared." He slightly chuckled as he pulled a big towel by a cabinet and handed it over to me.

"haha, I guess so but, thank you."

Covering the towel around me like a blanket, I followed Sans to where Jade was tending the needs of Dr. G as he operated a big bull skull like machine with its mouth holding some sort of portal.

Whoa...

This is too much science for a kid like me.

"G, you know this would happen as well. I also need Sans' help, and you know that too well." Jade said, sternly yet calm.

"Yes, of course...but, please look after him. He may act like all grown up like you but he's still merely a child." Dr. G's deep slick voice rang with his face full of mixed emotions of guilt and sadness.

"Also, make sure papyrus comes home safely."

Jade simply nodded in slight reassurance, letting him know that she can be trusted.

"Umm..hey Jade" I smiled but it ended up wavery as I caught her blank expression.

Its really hard to read her, to be honest.

"I should've known..." hearing her mature voice chilled me to the bone.

"Look, I know you said that I-

"You may come with us."

I blinked my eyes and stared at her in shock. Words tried to escape my mouth but it won't budge their way out.

Guess saying more to her would make me stop in my words again, speechless.

"I have already seen your potential to survive so, I see why not?" Her words made me gulp in fear.

Potential to survive?!

Is this some sort of survival game??

Is there some sort of creative mode that I can sign in just like how Minecraft has?? I have SO MUCH potential in that, since I love drawing and I'm a creative person.

I think that potential she saw was my powers. But I just discovered them this morning?! Somehow.

"She just currently discovered that she has powers, Jade." Sans explained, seeming against the idea.

"Its fine, she'll learn to face danger head on...she'll surely develop by practice."

Danger?!

Practice?!

Am I gonna be involved in combat??

Well, duh, Frisk. Your saving your friends from magical universe-traveling bad guys. Its obviously necessary.

My thoughts argued as I mentally slapped myself.

"Don't worry, I'm starting to get the hang of it." I cheekily said.

Lies

I'm seriously signing my death contract as of now, I need death as a witness. The literal skeleton Death himself, if you now what I mean.

"Better" she smiled, for the second time around.

"G, where is the last sighting of Error and his henchmen among the different AUs?"
Jade asked, taking the initial action of our rescue mission.

"AUs???"

"Alternate Universes" Sans corrected.

"Ohh...Wait....we're going to travel to different universes??" I asked quizzically, expecting a logical answer from Sans.

"Yep, cool, right?"

"AWESOMEEEEEE" I marveled.

"Not" Flowey continued as I shared him a glare which he gladly noticed when he huffed, looking away.

"Last sightings were dated a few hours ago in Underswap Universe,  Dr. G said as he tapped several codes by the machine's main control system, I suppose.

"Good, the nearer the better." Without any further argument, she took her stuff and beckoned us to enter the galaxy themed portal.

"Keep these special transceivers with you, so you may contact me or the others if you needed any help. Also, to track your current locations." Dr. G handed them to us as I clicked mine by my side.

Suddenly, I feel nauseated of how trip like these would make me puke. Its gonna be one heck of a ride, just like how it is in movies.

Something related to seasickness but worse!

"Frisk, ya coming or what?" Sans asked, impatience plastered on his face with a bit of worry.

"Needed something else..? Left something, perhaps?" Jade tuned in.

I fought back the urge to puke and feel nauseated and gave them a thumbs up.

"I'm good, just bringing Flowey here with me." I grinned, exposing him further as I turned the pot towards them.

He just remained silent as we all entered the portal towards danger to finally save everyone!

I tried to put on my courageous spirit as I felt my body slowly being separated from my soul.

The experience was unexplainable

It feels like your stuck in a running elevator destined to a 15th floor building. More like pancakes being flipped on a buttered pan.

With a blinding white light, We all landed on an alarming situation.

We toppled over on a sleeping person, landing face flat over him.

This is what I meant by traveling disasters...

"GAAAH! WHAT THE F***!-"
