Pt 2 of Little Pidge and Matt!

Currently Pidge was sitting on Matt's lap, watching cartoon. She was a bit worried, tensing slightly. Matt noticed and tried to help her not tense but nothing seemed to help. You see, Pidge made, what she sees now, a mistake. What was the mistake? Well, while she was going up into her room she stopped at the entrance at the hall way before turning around. The conversation basically went like this;

"Hey, I'm a little."

"What?" Colleen asked, cuddling her husband on the couch.

"Look it up," she said, giving them finger guns and ticking at them before walking back up to her room. Hey, it worked when Matt came out as Bi!

Now, that seemed very stupid. Pidge was terrified. What if her parents didn't accept her? What if they thought it was weird? What if they hated her? What if they thought it was sexual? What the hell is she going to do?

"Alright what's wrong?" Matt asked, bouncing her a little bit. The movement of the bouncing usually helped her. Plus she liked it.

"Uh-huh," she nodded, feeling her tears form in her eyes. She hugged Mr. Books tighter and played with her overall straps.

"What happened? Do you want me to call Dada?" Matt offered, looking over at the desk, where his phone was.

"Nu," she shook her head, grabbing Matt's hand.

"Can you tell me what it's about?"

"I told Mommy and Daddy that . . I'm a li'l?" Pidge said, her voice sounding like a question at the end. She didn't know whether she would be in trouble or not.

"Alright, did you think that was a good idea? No, I'm sorry. Did you want to or was it on the spot good idea?"

"Well, we're going to da Atlas an chu won be wif me. Dada will be busy as well. An I just didn' want to hide it from dem anymore," Pidge frowned, resting her chin on her owl plush.

"Well it seemed like a good choice. And let's be fair, we've fought aliens. We've fought beside aliens. I'm dating a robot. A ton of crazy things have happened to us. Mom might of only heard of the early stuff but she went through the Galra attack here. Dad was kidnapped by purple cats! I'm pretty sure this'll be nothing," Matt said, kissing her temple.

Pidge giggled at the action and rested her head against him chest. She felt smol. And that should be all that mattered right now, right?

The next few days was terrible. Pidge tried not to look or be around her parents but she had to work with them a lot. Especially on the Atlas. Her parents on the other hand were sadden at what Matt had told them. They had looked up what a little was, fully accepted Katie in her choice, but didn't know how to talk to her about it. They would love to watch her or get her something. It wasn't until Colleen said something about a 'peace treating' that Keith stepped into help. He had had the same thoughts when he came out to his mom. And he didn't want Pidge to feel the same.

"Katie?" Colleen asked, knocking on her door.

Pidge jumped, already slipped into a toddler headspace. She hadn't informed the others because she one, didn't want to bother them. Two, she would have to go all the way to the control area. Which was too far to crawl. So if she was founded by the others, then they would probably understand. But she wasn't prepared to have her parents at her door. Maybe some other Atlas person but she didn't know if she wanted to talk to her parents yet. She was scared.

"We're gonna come in, Pigeon," Samual warned before opening the unlocked door.

Pidge hide under her covers as her parents came in. Sam let out a chuckle at the sight of her, since it was a blob of blanket. Colleen took a breath before walking over to the blanket, Sam closing the door behind him. She lightly tapped the blanket, earning a little shuffle from it. She sat next to her and placed the the small elephant stuffie beside her head.

"Here, it's for you," Colleen said, moving back a little bit. Her and Sam made eye contact before Colleen looked back at the bundle. She saw Pidge slowly come out of the bundle and touch the elephant. Slowly bringing it under her bundle.

Pidge smiled when she saw the elephant. There was a note with it as well. That said, 'We accept you!' with a smile face beside it. It was signed from both of them but it was in Sam's writing. Pidge felt tears form to her eyes, which she quickly whipped away. Pidge came out of her bundle and looked at her mom.

"Chu-You-You're not mad?" Pidge asked, trying to go into a big kid voice.

"Of course not Sweetie! You're my kid, no matter what," she said, bringing Pidge into a hug. Pidge looked over to her dad, who was leaning on the door.

"Well, it doesn't pose a threat to yourself or others, why should we stop it?" Sam asked. "Plus, it just means your still my little girl." He joked, making Pidge pout.

"'M not thatttt li'l," she said, crossing her arms, her voice back to the high pitch.

"I'm pretty sure that's not true," Colleen raised her eye brow, tickling her daughter's sides. Pidge giggled and tried to stop her.

"Mommy nuuuuu!" she said, trying to grab her hands. Colleen gave Sam a huge smile and tickled Pidge more. Sam walked over and did the same. "Nu! Stup it!"

Sam stopped kicking him and started laughing as well, "Stup it! Oh my god!"

"It's not that funny," Colleen scoffed at her husband, stop tickling Pidge and reputing her onto her lap.

"Mr. Books!" Pidge gasped, making grabby hands at her owl plush. That was now on the floor. Sam gasped and picked it up, giving it back to her. It seemed as though littles were very attached to their stuffies. Which was why they got her an elephant one.

"Oh no!" Sam said, handing him back. It reminded him of when Matt use to drop one of the seven stuffies he would carry around the house. Pidge was obsessed with carrying this one small cactus they had. "Are they okay?"

"Mh-hmm. I tink he's otay," Pidge said, kissing the top of their head. Colleen put her hand over her hand at the action, reacting at how adorable her daughter was being.

"How about we play with something, Kiddo?" Sam asked, noticing some toys in a box nearby.

"Otay!" Pidge giggled as Colleen re-wrapped her arms around her. "Nu Mommyyy! I have to go play with Daddy!"

"Fine, I'll play with then," Colleen grumbled as Sam stuck his tongue at her.

"Alright, what are we playing?" Sam asked, digging through the box.

"Makeup!" Pidge smirked evilly as Sam brought out soe makeup that Lance gave her. Oh she was gonna make him look sooo pretty.

"Alright?" Sam said questionably. Pidge was never one for makeup.

Colleen let Pidge move to the floor and she snatched the bag from Sam. Sam sat in front of her and Colleen sat beside her. Sam went to grab the bag back from Pidge and got a smack on the hand.

"Hey, no hitting," Sam said. Making Pidge frown.

"'M gonna do chu're face," Pidge said, pointing to herself at the "'M" and him at the "chu're".

"Alright, but no more hitting," Sam said seriously. Pidge pouted but nodded. She knew her mistake. He didn't have to tell her twice.

"Fine," she said sassily, earning a glare from Colleen.

"Drop the attitude, Katie," she said.

"'M getting targeted here," Pidge mumbled, earning a laugh from both the parents.

"Well I'm sorry, Kate. Now, let's get onto that makeup, shall we?"

Colleen kept on making jokes while Pidge did her Dad's makeup, making Sam laugh as well. This made Pidge laugh and lecture her Daddy. Her new elephant stuffie, who she named Gerald, was beside her. Along with Mr. Books. By the end of makeup time Sam looked, in Pidge's words, absolutely gorgeous. His cheeks were very pink, her lips were a bright pink, he had bright green mascara, and light blue eye shadow. Katie was very proud of her work. Sam wanted to cry at the sight, it had been years since they had used, stolen, Colleen's makeup for a father daughter day. And Colleen took a picture to frame in their room. Let's just say, Pidge had an amazing time being little with her parents.
