Ben got out of his car having just finished work and made his way up to his apartment. Today was his birthday and he was looking forward to watching Netflix and eating cake. He got out his keys and opened the door with them, flicking on the lights. As soon as he did so confetti was popped at him and some balloons littered the floor.
"Happy fuckin' birthday, mate!" Brian yelled, giving Ben a big hug who chuckled and hugged him back.
"What are you doing here all the way from Canada, Brian?" He said, smiling.
"I had the opportunity to come over so I took it." Brian replied.
"Well, I'm not complaining!" Ben said then ushered him to the kitchen, "come on, I bought cake!"

After consuming the entire cake Ben had bought the couple snuggled up on the couch to watch a movie. They found some anime to binge watch and let that play.
"Hey, Brian," Ben whispered.
"Hm?" Brian hummed in reply.
"Best birthday present ever." Ben nuzzled His neck. Brian turned and places a gentle kiss on his lover's lips who returned the favor gladly.
"I love you.." Brian said.
"I love you to." Ben replied.
