It had been 2 sunrises since the gathering, but the prophecy still rung in Littlenight's head like a bee trapped underneath a pile of rocks. And the lions. Surely it must have been a trick of the light? He shivered, even though the scorching greenleaf sun beat down on his back.
"Littlenight?"
Littlenight whipped round and saw Meadowstar
"Meadowstar!" He sighed "You made me jump"
She purred in amusement "I'd like you to send extra patrols along the RiverClan border as far as the cascade rocks."
Littlenight nodded. The reason was fairly self-explanitory. "I'll take one out now" he mewed. Meadowstar padded away as he called together Talonheart, Silentwillow and Sorrelbranch. He explained what they were doing and led them through the open hills. They had just reached the cascade rocks when Sorrelbranch saw a flash on the rocks. She hissed in warning and immediately the patrol crouched down in the long grass. The intruder padded into WindClan territory.
"You are on WindClan territory"
The intruder whipped round, hissing.
Littlenight rose "I am the deputy of WindClan, and I order you to get off of our territory."
"Who ever said it was yours?"
The question caught Littlenight off-guard and the (Diamond a/n heh only 2g1m fans will get that.. whenever I hear intruder the first word that comes into my head is Diamond..) intruder leapt on him. Immediately, Talonheart, Silentwillow and Sorrelbranch attacked the (Diamond) intruder. Despite being feircly outnumbered the (Diamond) intruder fought strongly against them. A hunting patrol heard the battle from the top of a hill and went to help their Clanmates. With the extra help it was easier to fight off the (Diamond) intruder and it ran off with a warning snarl to the cats. The hunting patrol had less wounds than those cats that tracked down the (Diamond) intruder, yet Littlenight had little wounds. Whether it was because he fought well or because the (Diamond) intruder didn't injure him, he didn't know. No other cat seemed to notice but he didn't bring it up. He stood up.
"Come on, let's get back to camp"
