Kate P.O.V

"Why in the name of the moon goddess are we leaving so early?" Ella whined as the Rogues packed up camp.

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Well my pretty little pup, all the Alpha's are travelling from great lengths and distances just to be at this vital meeting so they wouldn't expect anything less from us, just as we have done twice before."

Jess scrunched her face. "When exactly did we have the other two meetings?"

Olivia smiled. "It was before your time, young one."

We start marching off to the location of said Pack, and I am not sure why, but I am severely anxious, my hair stands on end and my wolf is going wild. The more steps forward we take, the more of an urge I have to sprint in the direction we heading.

"Is she okay?" I hear Mason ask my sister, as I twitch. What is this sensation? It almost feels like I am about to meet my mate, but I have already met him. Unless he is there...

"She don't look fine." Spoke Enzo.
"Should I slap her?" Asked Ava.
"If anyone is slapping her it will be me!" Yelled Jess.
"No one is slapping my sister, you insolent bafoons!"
"How dare you! I am no bafoon. You bafoon." Said Jess.
"We could just ask her what's wrong." Said Mason.

I felt their eyes on the back of my head, but I couldn't give a shit. It feels like I am having an internal war, it feels like a second wolf is inside me arguing over something, but I know that's not the case, my wolf is arguing with her self, out of anger and or confusion. She's angry at the moon Goddess, but also grateful. Sweat trickles down my forehead.

"Hey Kate you okay?" I shake my head. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know, my wolf is excited, upset, grateful and angry and is battling within me and I just want to run to the pack." I look to my new found friends, in a questioning manner. They all clearly don't know what to say, leaving me with no comfort. I am clearly going mad or something.

We are now on the border of the pack, I am twitching uncontrollably. And I am too excited for my own comfort.

By now the entire pack has noticed and is giving me worrying glances, which only made me more fucking anxious.

"Kate, you don't have to join the Alpha meeting-" Olivia starts but I cut her off.

"I am fine."

Rhys P.O.V

The more the clock ticks, the more I twitch. Every fiber within in me is pulsing out of exticment and anxious energy.

"Are you sure you okay?" Beckett asks me for about the tenth time in the past hour. I give him a glare and he raises his hands in defense.

Jackson then came in with Violet in tow. I was about to ask what's going on until she started using her powers. She suddenly gasps, which caused everyone to get even more nervous.

"Violet what is it?" I ask as I feel like clawing at something.

"Violet? Babe?" Violet eyes, have turned violet and she starts floating in the air, as her body twitches. Jackson's eyes widen. "Violet!" He screams in agony.

I start panicking thinking I am contagious or something.

She suddenly floats back down and opens her eyes giving me a sympathetic smile. "I am sorry I am forbidden by zeița lunii to say anything, but I swear its-" Her eyes glow violet again and her body twitches.

I said don't say a word!

I was just going to say it wasn't anything bad!

She is going through this as well, and she has no idea either, they should both be shocked. When the moment comes, you can explain then.

Her eyes opened and she groaned. "Yeah I can't say shit." She huffs and leaves the room. Jackson gave me a lopsided smile as he walked off.

Beckett gives me a curious glance. But my body feels on fire, but the good kind. And oh God I smell something mouth watering. Its smells like a rainy day, my favourite day. I desire to follow this scent. "Olivia's non-pack pack are here." Says Thorn. My wolf purs in pleasure as he forces me up. Now I am definitely confused.

Kate P.O.V

Our feet it the grounds and my body feels on fire, but I love it. And God! That smell. It smells like a rainy day. Those are the best days ever. I have the sudden urge to follow this scent and my wolf agrees.

"Kate? What the fuck?" I turn to see Ryan, my wolf growls, displeased by his mere presence, which honestly shocks the hell out of me? Why does she hate him? I know he hurt us, but it's not like her to hate him.

The look in Ryan's eyes confirms his wolf is whimpering, but it seems his wolf also isn't ecstatic to see her. Which is odd. I can tell even Ryan seems confused.

"Welcome to-" That voice sounds so husky and amazing to my ears, and the rain smell is closer. I look up and meet the eyes of- Mate

My eyes widen, when I hear my wolves claim, his eyes also widen. And we stay there staring at each other. My blood is boiling in anticipation. I want to spring forward and kiss him, but I just met him.

"Kate. Why you staring at me nephew?" Olivia asks. But I don't respond. 

Derek, Ryan's father rounds the corner. "Son apologize to your mate!" The man who I now know as the clear Alpha. Growls. Everyone stiffens. But my heart rate increases.

Mason then made the mistake of touching my shoulder, releasing a second growl from said Alpha. Mason panics and steps back. Everyone is anxious and full of fear, but I am just thrilled.

"Rhys what is going on?" Asks a man I assume is his beta. But Rhys doesn't break eye contact, I gulp as I feel rigid. I want to move, but I am captivated by his gaze.

"Kate?" I bite my lip, causing Rhys eyes to flicker down, then meet my gaze once more, licking his lips.

"They won't respond." Answers a woman.

"Why is that?" Asks Ella.

"The moon goddess has made them second chance mates." Everyone gasps. "Right now their entire bodies are on fire, and they are uncertain if they want to rip each others clothes off or let their wolves play. It's a common thing for second chance mates to experience. Because of lost time they missed. Their wolves feel like they should already be fucking but Kate and Rhys themselves are utterly confused."

She was right. Because of my wolf I want to pounce on him. "So how long will they stay like this for?" Asks the Alpha's beta.

"Depends on them." My guess would say eternity. But then when would we take off the clothes She got a- no I just met him! And this is all too confusing.
