Louis wakes the next morning with a headache, his earphones are on the nightstand, Andy must have come in and taken them off. Louis sighs, he loves his brothers so much and appreciates how much they look after him.

Louis looks at the clock and sees it's 10am, he's late for class and sits up in bed grabbing his phone, he always sets his alarm, and the boys always wake him, they know his schedule off by heart and normally wake him if he's not up.

His phone has three new messages in the group chat that Louis has with his brothers

"Hey bud, don't flip out but we turned your alarm off last night, wanted you to have a day off today, just to relax" Andy's message says

"We emailed your professors, and they will email you any work and the lecture notes from today" Edward says

"I'll be home at lunch to check on you, please just rest today okay" Drew says

Louis is really thankful for his brothers and that they care so much about him, he really could use the day off but he doesn't want to get into trouble from Professor Dean, well any more trouble than he's already in, he hopes his brothers email is enough for Professor Dean to let his absence today slide, it's not like Louis has missed a class all year.

Louis replies with a thank you and lets the boys know he will rest

He then gets two messages through from unknown numbers in a new group chat

"Hi Louis, it's Scott and Harry, we hope it's okay to message, we just wanted to make sure you were okay and feeling better" Scott says

"Let us know if you need anything, Drew said you're at home today, we can drop by if you need us too" Harry says

Louis has no idea what to reply, there is no way he wants Scott and Harry coming over. It's nice they care but it's also weird, and he doesn't want to get too attached to them just in case

"Hi, Ummm thank you, thanks that's really nice of you, I'm fine, feeling fine, but thanks for the offer. I hope you have a good day at work" Louis says, he sends it before he can dwell on how shit the message is.

He gets up and goes to get his school supplies out, even though he isn't at school he needs to study.

Harry and Scott get Louis message through and sigh, they are in their offices in the middle of London, Harry stands up and goes to their floor to ceiling window and looks out at the rainy, grey London day.

"He's pushing us away" Harry says as he puts his hands on his pockets

"His omega is putting up the walls, it's his self-preservation" Scott reasons

"I know but, we agreed we would stay away and now we are trying to get to know him" Harry says

"Well, we want Louis in our lives we both agreed on that, regardless of the outcome. I think this is a good way for all our wolves to ease into this, his heat could be ages away H, and if it is tomorrow, I'd like to have said more than a few words to him" Scott says

Harry sighs as Scott comes over and wraps his arms around Harry from behind

"You're the one who said let's just let it play out, you're right, you're always right" Scott says kissing Harry on the cheek

Harry chuckles

"You always know how to get me to do what you want" Harry says cheekily

Scott winks at him

"Well why don't we call him then, we should actually talk about what's going on, now he knows the possibilities" Harry says

"Yeah, well that's true, I think you're right, let's call him" Scott says

Scott and Harry sit on their couch in the office and call Louis, Harry putting the phone on speaker

"Hello?" They hear Louis gorgeous voice through the receiver, both boys instantly relax and didn't realise how much they actually missed Louis and hearing his voice.

"Hi their little wolf" Harry says, he's gentle yet authoritative

"Um, hi" Louis says shyly, the pet name causing butterflies

"How's your morning going?" Scott then asks

"Good, um good, thank you, um... how's yours?" Louis asks, he feels like such a loser, Harry and Scott must think he's socially incapable

Harry and Scott however think Louis is absolutely adorable and don't want him to stop talking, ever

"Good thank you darling, we just wanted to make sure you're okay, we know you messaged back you were fine, but we wanted to make sure" Scott says

"Oh, yeah...I'm fine, just a bit tired I guess" Louis says

Louis has the same workload as an Alpha at University, he doesn't get special treatment at all and that does take its toll on an omega.

"Well, we are glad you're having a day of rest" Harry says

Louis just hums in response; he doesn't want Harry and Scott to think he's weak and can't handle his workload.

"Listen, Lou, Scott and I were wondering if you might want to come over to our place, say Friday? We can have dinner?" Harry says

"Why?" Louis says instantly and regrets it as soon as it leaves his mouth, he can't believe he was so disrespectful

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it like that, I just...." Louis then panics

Scott and Harry chuckle at Louis cuteness

"It's okay, Louis, honestly, we just figured we should talk about everything. If it makes you uncomfortable, we understand" Scott then says

"Oh, right, no, i......I'm not uncomfortable but I really don't want to vomit on you, or near you, or at all really" Louis says

The boys chuckle lightly

"We understand how new this is Lou, and we all need to adjust, and your body is trying to get used to things, but being around each other more often, can possibly make things easier" Harry says

Louis thinks it over, he guesses Harry and Scott might be right and if they are his soulmates, Louis does need to find a way to deal with it. He just hopes they don't turn into big jerks

"Yeah, I guess, sure I'll.... I'd like to come to dinner" Louis says

Harry and Scott smile so wide

"Perfect, we will send a car? Say 3?" Scott says

"Oh, actually I have to stay back at school until 6 Friday, is 6:30 okay? I'm sorry if it's inconvenient, I just can't get out of it I'm sorry" Louis says, he really doesn't want to disappoint Harry and Scott

"No Lou, that's fine, a car will be at yours at 6:30" Harry says

"Okay, thanks" Louis says

"We look forward to seeing you then darling" Harry says

"Make sure you rest today" Scott says

"I will.... bye" Louis says

"Bye little wolf" they both reply and hang up.

Drew comes by at lunch time to check on Louis and to make sure he eats. Louis eats enough to make Drew happy, and he spends the day mostly on the couch in front of the TV. Louis never gets to choose the TV show and when the boys aren't home, he makes sure he watches his favourite shows.

Louis tries to block everything out, Harry, Scott, Professor Dean, schoolwork, everything and just focus on doing nothing, which he doesn't get to do very often.

It's not until about 4pm that he gets an email from Professor Dean

"Louis, you have a lot of work to catch up on now that you've missed two days in a row, I expect you to be at my office at 3pm tomorrow to copy the last two days notes"

Louis takes a deep breath. He doesn't know if he should tell his brothers or not, he doesn't want them to interfere though, they get really overprotective and can be somewhat embarrassing when they go full alpha.

Louis really needs to figure this out, he only has a year left and just has to suck it up he guesses
