Sammy doesn't tell the boys about the nest, as she knows how personal a thing that is, however she does move Louis back to his bed and tells Andy that Louis is sick.

"I've given him some medicine to hopefully bring his fever down" Andy says to the boys who are waiting outside Louis room for Andy

"Is it his heat?" Edward asks

"No, no sign of that, he's throwing up and says he feels like he has the flu......it's almost like" Andy says more to himself.

"Almost like?" Drew asks

"Almost like, he's suffering rejection" Andy says

The boys are confused

"But he can't be, if Harry and Scott aren't his actual mates, he can't suffer rejection" Edward says

Rejection happens when an omega is refused by their alphas. If an omega is rejected by their soulmate the bond needs to be severed under medical supervision, otherwise the omega can get so sick they can die. Their body shuts down at the emotional stress they experience. They need to be monitored in hospital and it needs to be a controlled break.

It's very rare that omegas are rejected by their soulmates, but it does happen, Andy has done three controlled breaks in his career and the omega ends up being fine. They can find someone else to spend their life with and some alphas and omegas never find their soulmates, so it just depends on the reasonings behind it all.

"Well maybe they are" Andy says

"What?" The boys ask so confused

"Don't tell me they have two omegas?" Drew asks

"No, not at all and Louis would have a connection with Jax if that was the case, it's clear they hate each other" Andy says with a slight chuckle and the boy's smile

"Then what do you mean?" Edward asks

"Well, what do we know about Jax? He suddenly just came into their lives when the media leaked the fact Louis might be their omega?" Andy says

The boys stop and think

"Well, that's true I guess, so why do they have a feeling together then, a connection?" Drew asks

"Well, I'm not sure that's entirely what's happened, look.... there are medical ways to make someone think you're soulmates and it's all very black market, very illegal, but it doesn't stop people" Andy says

"And Scott and Harry are famous alphas, who would be at high risk of someone trying to do that" Edward says

"And if they mate Jax and they find out he isn't their soulmate, it's too bad, they've mates him" Drew says

"I think there is more to this, and we need to find out who Jax is and even if he might be connected to Louis in some way" Andy says

"Do you think......what if......those betas that Louis said beat him up were organised by Jax?" Drew says

The boys, the more they think about it, the more they see this might be something. They stand their talking for a little longer and organise a plan because if Louis really belongs with Harry and Scott and Louis is really suffering rejection, then they could actually lose him.

Louis gets up for class on Monday, he is feeling sick, but he needs to get on with things and learn to deal with the fact that Harry and Scott aren't his alphas, he has his final exams today as well and needs to pass them. He then has three weeks off and won't have to see Professor Dean thankfully.

The boys have been trying to figure out a few things over the weekend and are waiting for some answers to come through, hopefully in the next few days.

When Louis meets them in the kitchen for breakfast the boys are surprised.

"Hey kiddo, I don't think you should be going to school today" Andy says

"Well, I have to, I have my exams today, I'm okay, I feel better" Louis says.

For some reason he feels a lot better when he can smell Harry and Scott, his nest has been a great help to him, but he won't tell the boys that's the reason why.

"Okay and then you have holidays? Three weeks?" Drew asks

He's thankful that Louis will have some time off, they all think he just needs a break from everything at the moment

"Yeah, I'm on holidays from tomorrow" Louis says

"Okay, well I'll drive you and pick you up" Drew says.

"K thanks" Louis says

Louis doesn't know but Drew, Edward, and Andy, have taken the next week off work, they want to do everything they can to find out who Jax is and make sure he's Scott and Harry's mate. Drew is using his contacts at work, while Andy can medically find information out and Edward will use his legal skill to keep them all out of trouble for snooping.

Louis makes it through his day and his exams, he thinks he did well and hopes that his sickness doesn't affect anything. Louis is packing up after his design exam, he's trying to be quick so he can get home.

"Louis, please stay behind" Professor Dean says

Louis sighs, he really can't deal with this today, he feels so sick

He makes his way down and follows Professor Dean to his office.

Louis senses are in overdrive, he doesn't want to be hit again, he can't deal with being hit again, he feels his body begin to panic and he knows Professor Dean can sense it too.

Professor Dean locks the door behind Louis and when Louis looks up, he sees none other than Jax staring right back at him

Louis instantly remembers where he's seen Jax before. When Professor Dean beat him up last time, when he was walking out, he passed Jax as he was walking to Professor Deans office.

Louis is so confused

"So, how does it feel to not be Harry and Scott's Soulmate" Professor Dean asks smirking

Louis looks at him confused, how do these guys know each other, how does Professor Dean know Louis isn't their soulmate

"Cat got your tongue Lou?" Jax smirks

"Wha? I don't understand what's going on?" Louis says. He's seriously so confused

Jax and Professor Dean look to each other and smirk.

"Would you like us to explain for you?" Jax asks chuckling

Louis is starting to get a bit worried, and Professor Dean is behind him blocking his way out, his omega instincts tell him he needs to get out of here and he tries to calm himself down

"Jax is my son Louis, and unfortunately for you, he's now Harry and Scott's mate, but.... there's some good news because guess whose mate, you're going to be" he says wickedly

Louis is absolutely shocked, these two are seriously nuts if they think Louis is going to mate with Professor Dean and even more nuts if they think his brothers will allow that

"I'm not mating you" Louis says factually, trying to remain calm

"We thought you'd say that, but that doesn't matter, you have no choice and once we're bonded and mated you can't go back" Professor Dean says

"And you know what really helps with consensual mating Louis" Jax asks as he pulls a bottle out from his pocket. It's small and black, Louis has no idea what it is

"This, a few drops of this and it will make you think you've found your soulmate" Jax smiles evilly

Louis realises in that second what that means, and he needs to leave

"You tricked Harry and Scott, you're not their mate I am, they were right, I am their mate" Louis says in realisation

"You were Louis, according to them at least you were their mate, I'm that person now and when we mate, I'll have everything, their riches their fame and the most handsome men in Britain. But don't worry, you'll still be in the family after you mate my dad" Jax says

"Fuck off, you're delusional if you think I'm going to not say anything and let this happen" Louis says

He goes to turn to leave the room and push past Professor Dean

"And you're delusional if you think we would let you leave after hearing that" Professor Dean smirks out

"It's the holidays Louis, no one will be in here for three whole weeks. That gives Jax time to mate with Harry and Scott and us to mate too" Professor Dean says, like it's the most factual thing in the world

Louis heart rate pics up, he's so scared right now.

Louis looks at the two crazies in front of him and then to the door, he then bolts and tries to leave but he's grabbed. Louis kicks and screams trying to get out of the hold, but he's restrained. He's only a small omega and Professor Dean covers his mouth and holds him tightly against his chest

"Just relax Louis, this is best for all of us, Harry and Scott have already rejected you and now you're free to be with me" he says

Louis doesn't stop struggling though, he needs to get away.

Professor Dean obviously doesn't know that you can't reject an omega without them going through withdrawals and rejection first, but neither does Louis, so when Louis hears the words that he's been rejected.... again, his body becomes even more weak and his breathing heavy. He tries to fight it, but he ends up passing out, trapped in Professor Deans arms
