Scott and Harry drive Louis back home after dinner. They are still concerned Louis is withdrawn and not eating but they don't push him or mention anything, just thankful Louis didn't run and was more open with them

They pull up in the driveway and Louis goes to get out.

"Lou, before you go" Harry says

"Mmm" Louis looks to them both in the front

"Would you maybe consider; we don't want to move to fast but" Scott starts

Louis remains quiet, nervous for what they will ask him

"Would you consider staying with us from Friday nights to Sunday's?" Harry finishes

Louis is taken aback, this could all come crashing down if Louis isn't their soulmate and Louis would be crushed, he wants to protect himself, but Harry and Scott seem to think there is no doubt, alphas do have stronger instincts and feelings when it comes to this sort of thing, so Louis trusts that they know, he does trust them.

"I.... will.... will you use scent blockers?" Louis asks

As much as he likes that he doesn't feel like throwing up around Harry and Scott, he does miss their smell

They both smirk at Louis who blushes

"Do you want us to?" Scott asks

"I. Miss.... I miss your smells, but I don't want to throw up" Louis says cutely

They boys can't get enough of how gorgeous Louis is and they just want to wrap him up

"Well, we can stop using them and get you used to the smell slowly, if it's too much just tell us and we can always use them as reducers instead" Harry says

Louis just nods and smiles slightly

"Thanks" Louis says

"Would you maybe, like to stay this weekend? We can go in and grab whatever you need, and we can drop you back on Sunday?" Scott then asks straight out

"Ahhhh, um, are.... you sure?" Louis asks

"Of course, Louis, but there is no pressure okay, you will have your own room, it's just more so we can get to know each other, get you used to our lifestyle and being around us and our smells" Harry says

"Once you have your heat and we bond, life will change pretty quickly, and we think this is a great way to not overwhelm you and we can get to know each other without the pressure" Scott says

Louis thinks it over, they do have a point, he supposes it is a good idea and he doesn't really understand Scott and Harry's lifestyle at all.

"Okay, I guess you're right but.... if I want to come home, will you let me" Louis asks innocently

"No questions asked, we promise" Harry says

Louis nods and they all get out of the car to head inside so Louis can pack a bag.

"Are you sure this is the right thing to do?" Drew asks as they all are all in the kitchen waiting for Louis to pack and come back downstairs

"We think so, he will be pulled into our world of media and tabloids, and he won't have much privacy, this way we can all get to know each other without the world watching" Harry says

"That makes a lot of sense, and we really appreciate you thinking of Louis and how this affects him but you aren't even considering the fact he might not be yours, what happens then" Edward says

"We know he's ours, we feel it so deeply, it's hard to explain" Scott says, and he looks to Andy for support

"Andy?" Drew asks

As much as the boys want Harry and Scott to be Louis alphas, they want and need to protect him first

"Look, I really can't medically comment on this, I've never seen a case like this and the ones I've read about are rare and not exactly what's happening here, I don't know. Medically I think it's a good idea to ease him into everything, especially how he feels and reacts so strongly to your smells. As Louis older brother though, I want him protected and safe from anything that could negatively impact him and if he isn't your mate and we could have prevented the attachment he's no doubt going to have to you, we would have failed him" Andy says

Harry and Scott sigh

"Louis is able to make this decision himself, we won't ever stop him from being with his mates or potential mates, but this is just so hard, for everyone" Drew says

"What if we talked to him about medically inducing his heat?" Andy says

The boys all look to Andy stunned

"I know it's not ideal, but Louis is 18, three years overdue and although it's not common, we do recommend it when it gets this far" Andy says

"Can we ask why you haven't done it yet?" Scott asks curiously

"We just haven't felt the need to really, I always thought It would come on its own. Medically inducing his heat is painful too, even more so than getting your first heat can be. We just didn't want to put him through it all" Andy says

"Well why don't we try for a few weeks with this new arrangement, he's asked us not to use scent blockers, so we could very well bring on his heat naturally. If in a months' time, nothing's changed, let's maybe look at it then" Harry says

The boys agree that's the best option for Louis and when he comes down the stairs with his bag packed, the boys say their goodbyes with hugs and hair ruffles.

Louis holds in his winces and tries to not scream out when they put pressure on his bruises. He loves his brothers so much and hates keeping this from them, but he has too. He just hopes Harry and Scott don't find out while he's staying with them.

The first night goes by quietly but okay, Harry and Scott show Louis his room and it's massive, they leave him be to finish any schoolwork he has, and they end up watching a movie together before they go their separate ways to bed.

Louis room is across from Harry and Scott's upstairs. There is a whole other house on the level above, two bathrooms as well as an ensuite in both the boys and Louis room, there's a library, media room and Harry and Scott's home office.

When Louis finally puts his head on the pillow he's exhausted and his body aches. He tries to get some sleep, but his head is just a jumbled mess of everything. After about two hours he ends up finally drifting off to sleep.

"He's asleep" Harry says into their dark bedroom

"He's unsettled" Scott says

Both boys can sense Louis in the room across from them, their alpha instincts can tell that he's only just fallen asleep. They didn't want to fall asleep until Louis was finally off.

"He must have a lot going on in his mind, and he is in a strange place" Harry says

"I hope that's all it is" Scott says, he senses something else though

Scott and Harry settle down in bed and hold each other like they always do. They can't wait to have an omega between them to hold onto as well though.

Three hours later they are woken to a scream, Louis scream.

Their alphas are on full alert and race across the hall, sensing a threat. What they find when they enter Louis room, is a sweaty, distressed Louis, sitting up in bed trying to catch his breath.

"Lou?" Harry asks as he walks over slowly.

Scott turns the side lamp on, and they both sit on either side of Louis, facing him.

"Relax darling, relax" Scott says gently

Harry reaches out to swipe Louis hair off his forehead. Louis flinches but realises it's Harry and calms.

His nightmare was the same as always. Professor Dean abusing him, and he can't get away because he's omega.

Scott and Harry are in sweats and no shirts, looking insanely muscly and hot. They have tattoos littering their arms and torso and Louis just can't get over how beautiful they are.

"It was just a nightmare Lou, breathe sweetheart" Harry says

"Sorry, I'm fine, sorry" Louis says as he calms down.

"Don't apologise little wolf, we're here, it's okay" Scott says

Louis eventually calms down but he's not feeling the best, his back is aching, and he doesn't want to go back to sleep

"Would you like a drink of water?" Harry asks

Louis shakes his head no

"I'm okay, sorry to wake you" Louis says uncomfortably

"It's fine Lou, we promise" Harry says

Louis nods

"Would you like us to stay? Seemed like a pretty bad dream" Scott says

"Oh no I'm used to it it's fine, I'm fine, you can go, thanks" Louis rushes out, not realising what he said

"What do you mean you're used to it darling?" Harry asks his voice concerned

"Oh nothing, just I get nightmares lately, it's fine it's nothing. I just, I'm going to go back to sleep now" Louis says as he freaks a little

"Lou, why don't we talk about this, we might be able to help" Scott suggests

"I don't want to, maybe later, thanks and sorry I woke you, it won't happen again" Louis says

The boys both sigh but decide to leave Louis with a kiss to his head, tucking him back in.

They make it back to their room and again wait for Louis to go back to sleep. Wondering what could have caused such a horrible nightmare.

Louis doesn't go back to sleep and Harry and Scott wonder if this is a normal thing for Louis
