I sat watching over Nik as he suffered, when Elijah brought a blond woman in.

"Bethany, this is Cami. Cami this is my wife Bethany"

"You look really young" she replied

"hello to you too, and yes I'm 17 almost 18. I'm a hybrid like Nik here" I stood up and went round to the other side to get what I needed.

"So the dagger the witch gave me is inside him" she asked as I grabbed the stuff and went round to the other side.

"And every second it remains causes Niklaus untold suffering" Elijah replied I grabbed the surgical knife

"Who stabbed him?"

"I did. And Bethany intends to remove it, Nik and my wife share a platonic bond. One he sees fit not to bathe his temper and rage on. This means he won't rip her head off."

"You may want to stand back." she did so.

"Should you be doing this in your condition." i smiled at her.

"It's very sweet and all but I can handle myself. That and my child with his warlock gifts has a protection shield around us." 

"Why am I here" she wondered

"Apart from Bethany, you would be the only one he wouldn't immediately slaughter" Elijah told her

"In other words he fancies you, it's a complement he has a thing for blondes " I cut Nik open and he groaned 

"Also he speaks of you with rare degree for him at least of respect" I plunged my hand in and seared for the dagger

"You see you challenge him to see himself and others in a new light" I found it and pulled it out he gave a sigh of relief

"A wonderful skill I shall later rely upon. You see Niklaus will be weak as he recovers. So watch over him if you will, and slowly feed him from your wrist. "

"don't you guys have bags of blood in storage." I put the knife down and wipe my hand with a towel.

"We, do but your blood is laced with Vervain. So it will burn him. He'll ingest it slower. Perhaps you could use the time constructively, persuade him not to murder his baby sister." he then leant down closer as i stood up.

"Niklaus you know it wasn't my desire to bring you pain, but i will not see you hurt Rebekah. Now I fear Sabine may be making a move against us. I intend to find her and end this." he went to join me but Nik stopped him.

"Elijah" he bent back down "if I didn't care for my niece i would make you pay for this" he wheezed. I but my lip as he straightened and came to join me as we left. I washed my hands and grabbed my jacket, leaving for the Cemetery.

Monique was laying on the floor chanting when we arrived .

"When order is restored, your kind won't be allowed in here" i rolled my eyes at her patheticness 

"Well fortunately that day has not yet come. We need to find Sabine"

"Why can't you hybrid wife do it."

"I don't have anything of Celeste's or Sabine's"

"I need to find her se has taken someone very important to us" she scoffs and sits up still not facing us.

"And you thought I'd help you?" she stood up.

"Sabine is one of us committed to the rise of the witches."

"The only thing she is committed to is the destruction of my family."

"And that would be a bad thing why?"

"Like my mother and wife they were and are very powerful witches. In fact because of my family, my mothers power now flows through your veins. Now once Sabine manipulates those around her, she will do what she always has done. She will jump into another body and disappear. Leaving your witches powerless."

"No, she has the faith. She will see our power restored

"There is a way of guaranteeing this  while by the graciousness of my husband seeing that you and the witches remain safe" i walked forward  holding up a parchment.

"This is from his mother grimoure. Celeste used a similar spell to body jump. If what she says is true then all of her power will flow back into the earth."

"However if she has lied and tries to take another body this spell will deliver to a different location. Now please locate Sabine"  she sighs and nods. I should have guessed Hayley was at the Bayou and we heard Sabine talking.

"Whatever she's promised you it's a lie" Elijah stated and they looked at us.

"Elijah, Bethany. It's okay, I'm okay"

"She cannot be trusted"

"She's the only one that can help my pack"

"Do you have any idea what she's done to our family?" i asked

"I know you want revenge and come the next full moon when I'm sure her cure works, she's all yours"

"Are you really suggesting we hold her for an entire month. You must be insane"

"It would take an army" Elijah added

"And I've got one" the wolves howled  and it went on into the distance "so help me or get out of my way" i looked at Elijah and i took Sabine. I shoved her against a tree and muttered a spell keeping her there.

"You tricked her" Elijah breathed holding the jar that Hayley had

"I'm not. You're holding the cure for Hayley's clan in your hand if the wolves take that elixir the curse is no more. They're free"

"So you just make the cure and give it to her without so much as a whimper why?"

"Because it's the best thing I could do for her. Unlike the rest of you i actually like Hayley and Bethany. That and it's the worst thing i could do to your family. You destroy that jar, you have Bethany kill me, Hayley will hate you for snatching her family from her. Now if you give her the jar she will obviously leave to be with them. And i know that as long as she's alive and happy, fulfilled in ways you would never imagine then i will get my revenge."

"I don't get it? why you are such a bitch? You mock his love for family because Nik screwed you over and got you killed. It was one of many of Niks faults so why punish him."

"Because he always chose them over me, he will do the same to you as well" i roll my eyes.

"no he won't, i know he won't because I know family means everything to him. I know I mean everything to him. The only reason he was with you is because yet again the universe was cruel and took away his true love." I could see her face falter.

"Your nothing but a jealous vindictive, attention, seeking bitch. Because you weren't lucky enough to be ranked as that important against his family. Yes he loved you because you were a really good distraction" i walked to Elijah who stood watching as I traced my finger over him.

"But that's all you were a distraction from his pain and suffering, I'm I right" I asked him he looked down and nodded. i sighed and gave him a kiss before going back to her.

"Face it darling you will never be important as me to Elijah. It sucks for you though." I undid the spell.  I pushed her forward and she started walking
